@@TheLogBerry He's a great entertainer which gives him most of the spotlight for Puff in Ultimate but Bassmage is the best Puff and has the results to back it up. Don't know about now but Bassmage used to give advice to Hbox in his streams all the time and helped him out when he struggled.
I've heard that BassMage loves Smashville because the stage is so little that it's easier to get people offstage to be edge-guarded -- what Jiggs excells at.
Incin and jigglypuff have such an age difference that sometimes I forget they’re both Pokémon. If jigglypuff had any sort of modern relevance in the games or animie and didn’t look so much like kirby it wouldn’t happen
If commentators don't understand the stage pick, then its best if they don't ask and question it for the whole second game. As a Puff main, my favorite stage is Smashville due to the long center platform and its height fitting well with puffs neutrals and down throw.
Bassmage wasn't going off stage to gimp Incineroar because the side B is hard to punish without a disjointed attack and Jiggs has teeny hitboxes. I don't think Bassmage knows the MU all that well either he had plenty of time to rest Skyjay in the end lag of darkest lariat it has almost a full second of end lag
It's not that simple. Like the commentators said, rest isn't the same Like in previous games, and isn't where the character shines. Plus, you almost should never punish something with rest, because you might miss or you hit it and it doesn't kill and your playing against a character that can kill you at 40%. Although there were better things bassmage could've done, but that being said how many Incineroars do you see at this level?😂
@@walter9243 - I think there's a couple incin players in AZ where BassMage is from, but that doesn't mean they play similar. You really should look at the grab boxes on incineroar side b; it's horrendous.
13:28 lairian whip…not knowing puff’s “punch” is called pound…and in the leon-fatality match having no idea how bowserside works…jeez how did people this clueless become commentators
I see this ignorant comment so much. They're commentary. Not professional players. Not a single person is going to knows the name and function every move in the game with 88 characters. Get a grip
@@TyphonCH you’re right, we should cut them some slack for not knowing the moves of these two very new characters, jigglypuff and bowser. I’m sure not many people have even played them yet! Don’t be a joke, they’re professional commentators, they should have a good grasp of what they’re talking about. Maybe not things like at what % a move kills, but how bowsercide works?? Seriously?
And then these two teamed up in doubles and won the tournament! Man, talk about hype.
You love to see an Incineroar and a puff in top 128. Probably the best of each as well
Is Hungrybox not the best puff in ultimate?
@@TheLogBerry not even close, Bassmage is miles better than him
@@TheLogBerry This isn't Melee
@@TheLogBerry Sadly not. He's definitely my favorite tho

big middle plat for sing techchase as well

In my life I never thought I would see a matchup like this
This set shows how important adapting is.
The two (probably) best players of their respective (probably) low tier pokemon that got buffed in the last patch facing off
The best cat and the best puff
So refreshing to see this matchup! Sick of seeing DLC everywhere lol
Damn. The doubles Champions meeting in Bracket. Hate that they couldn't both win.
Shoutout to the guy whos wearing the Mandalorian Costume
The Mando costume won the costume contest, it was completely hand made and looked truly incredible up close
Both characters buffed, nice
Friendly fire
skyjay’s recovery is RIDICULOUS
If your side stream has vods up infinitely faster than you you need to consider asking them to be your main stream
9:10 he absorbed a tilt and his bair did 40% WTF
Hero percents
Why didn’t they upload the rest of the sets?
Game 4 was crazy
Someone has seen the match between Skyjay and Elegant?
it wasn't on stream, I think this is the only vod ua-cam.com/video/vIAse3aN2Lc/v-deo.html
