About Pretty Little Liars:

In this scene, I really wish the other three girls would have been more supportive of Spencer and had tried to help her. I felt like they just attacked her.
same for Toby and her mother. I wish they had been there FOR her, instead of against her, when she was clearly in trouble.

I think it's because everyone just overestimated Spencer and always thought that she was so strong but they didn't know how broken she was which is probably the saddest thing about season 4
The Nerd And The Muffin I agree. And it's so upsetting because Spencer is incredibly strong, and shouldn't have been defined by her stuggles. Everyone was just too harsh to her. She wasn't a raging drug addict, but instead a lost girl who cracked under pressure and needed help.
Troian should definitely get award for the best scene from a show like right now. She is simply amazing!!

I absolutely hated Aria, Hanna and Emily’s reactions in this scene. They just attacked Spencer instead of listening to her. Troian’s acting was incredible. We can really feel Spencer’s frustration.

Troian's acting in this scene is the best acting we've ever seen on the show. I think it's even better than her Radley scenes and they were INCREDIBLE. She's such an underrated actress.

I didn't like Aria in this scene. Yes it's stupid how Emily and Hannah were acting, considering they were talking with her about Ezra not to long ago, but Aria being so convinced and not listening to Spencer, making her seem more crazy. Spencer was the one smart enough to figure out Ezra
Aria realised Ezra was A a couple of scenes later. I think this was one of the few episodes were I loved Aria. She pretends to be this not so smart naive girl but in this episode she proved to be able to figure things out.
Tbf you find out your friend is taking drugs, you're going to be a little bit hesitant in believing them as they don't have a clear narrative on things. I can understand why Hanna and Emily took a step back.
Well no hate to Spencer but if one of your friends is on drugs and is acting as erratic as Spencer, I would be hesitant to believe them if they jumped throat at my boyfriend. Also technically she was wrong about Ezra. Even when Spencer wasn’t on drugs her biggest flaw is that she is stubborn and arrogant. She gets this idea and automatically assumes she’s right and doesn’t consider the possibility of her being wrong. It’s like when Spencer was so sure Garrett was Ally’s killer and guilty and refused to head otherwise. Aria and the other girls just wanted her to stop and consider what she was saying. The fact that she was erratic didn’t help.

"OH MY GOD THIS IS BRILLIANT" is exactly what I would say about her performance in this scene. She conveys a thousand different emotions all a once.
And this is why pll is my fav show. Troian plays spencer so well and no only does she provide a lot of funny jokes in the show but there are also these heart tugging scenes as well

I honestly can’t believe the breach of confidentiality this series showed. One of the most infuriating things that happened. Ezra actually sharing a students personal medical record to Aria to cover up his lies. And then instead of trying to help her they jump down her throat and don’t believe anything she’s saying.
Ya I like how no one really pointed that out. Aria maybe questioned it once when Ezra first showed her the file, but she wasn't the least bit concerned as to why Ezra was snooping into Spencer's past
Exactly, in real life you literally can't do that, it's hard to even try to access those, and if you somehow manage to leak that info you can get in so much trouble (rightfully). The only way to access that info would be in some legal situation where it was deemed relevant, but even then the info has to be private from the public

I hated how insensitive Hanna always was like when Spencer was in radley she was so rude and not understanding then also in the scene in season 2 when Jenna sits next to them and she straight out just blurts out if she’s blind or not (it’s almost like she forgets that the her and her friends are the ppl that blinded her) and in this scene she wouldn’t listen to Spencer and was attacking her instead of caring about her. I always didn’t like her she was just so mean all the time lol. Plus am I the only one that noticed half of the time in the show when she was talking she would be doing it angrily or shouting like tf

First, you judge them harshly by calling them a druggie, then you pity them heavily so that they feel like slop, you talk to them in a condescending tone, then lastly and most importantly, you judge them even more harshly with your look.

I know they show SOME concern, but barely enough for their BEST FRIEND.
I'm not one to cry, but if I had a best friend, and she was like this, I would be trying to stay strong, but I'm pretty sure I would cry, or at least my eyebrows would be creasing into my forehead with concern. Aria seemed to be the only one trying here, but Lucy's facial expressions were terrible too.

Troian did this so well! No one in the acting industry could of pulled this off as good as troian. I love and hate this episode at the same time. I love Spencer in general and I love the storyline of her addiction in season 4. but what I hate is none of the girls supported her, they just attacked her and they could clearly tell Spencer wasn’t okay but didn’t wanna do anything. this episode makes me cry every time but it is definitely one of my favourites!
This scene is just amazing the acting of troian was phenomenal also I really feel bad for Spencer she’s been taking the pills to find out about ezra or A she’s literally saving her friends life as always and she doesn’t get enough appreciation about it, they should’ve supported her instead of attacking her like that.

First of all these girls weren't supportive towards spencers addiction and never tried to help her. Aria only cares what ezra, ezra would need to go to jail dating a high school student and than stealing a students medical record and breaching confidentiality. God I feel so dumb for shipping ezaria, I don't ship them anymore my fave ship would spencer and Toby and Emily and maya. I came to realise that ezra was a toxic teacher

This scene made me wonder if Spencer might be A. Perhaps I overthink, but it's just strange to me that Spencer was able to keep a drug problem secret from everyone including a seemingly omniscient A for 2 years especially since it would have been a good way to set her up previously. It wasn't even hidden, it was just sitting in a file in the school. Mona would have had access to it since see was the TA to the Vice Principal and Ezra would have too this whole time, and I would think it would have come up in his research of them. So did the A-team know and choose not to use it against her until now, is Spencer setting up being set up as part of her own brilliant plan or am I just crazy and this is just a pretty little secret that slipped under A's radar... Probably the last one.
