In Japan's sushi restaurants I've never seen imitation crab nor chicken teriyaki, and I've only seen minced tuna once. Sushi style in the US is really really different from sushi in Japan. Not saying US's is better or Japan's is better, because there is beauty in reinventing recipes, but I just hope everyone will learn original flavors as well as exciting new ones.
Khanh Kha Minh taiwan is big on the imitation crab thing, I've seen it in korea too. in japan ive literally only eaten sashimi and nigiri at an actual sushi place, all these rolls are usually used in seven eleven and shit..

They didn't say that sushi was bad for you. It was more about the fish that is commonly used in sushi. If you don't use seafood in your sushi, or only use sustainable ingredients that aren't endangered, prepared with slave labor, or contaminated with heavy metals, there's no problem.

easier way to cook rice: use a rice cooker wash it once, bc the nutrients of the rice will be washed away when you rinse it twice the amount cups of rice is the amount of water you are going to add but plus 1 cup e.g. 3 cups of rice = 4 cups of water (( it's your choice if you don't want to add another cup of water, but i prefer doing that )) then u have rice
