He married a doctor wife , has a great family with 3 kids . Very humble guy and tall , good looking fella too . Speaks very well and ex RJC , of course officer too durin NS . Its a stupid myth that all generals have been to war. After 1945 - most countries have not been to war, so most of the world's Generals, except the US has not seen war. Military ranks are not decorations - they are given according to the position they are in the command structure. A Division commander, commanding more than 10,000 soldiers is a one-star BG in Singapore. In many other countries, a one-star General commands only a brigade or regiment size of about 3-4,000. When you educate yourself, you won't ask such silly questions.
