These new instructions are WAY better than the old ones, I can't believe how much frustration I've had with aligning that back bar with the back and top panels. I think most of my frustration with putting together Moducases had stemmed from trying to loosen the bottom back bar so I could add some more power inside the case. Now it's not necessary, as I have some of those Brush Wall Plates you would use for DIY cabling by passing whole wires through the wall. It does require cutting a small rectangle on the back panel, but it's time well spent!
I just kept the rails in their container until I needed it, helped me remember what part I'm putting on! This new system looks much nicer.

The foam packaging for the rails is a game changer. I literally would take double or triple the amount of time assembling cases because I'm OCD and had to inspect the rails thoroughly. I would legit sit there and give some thought to what the best sides were and how those would be visible versus hiding the sides that had imperfections. Two buddies of mine who I put on to the cases are set to receive their order soon so for them these updated instructions will be a huge plus. Indirectly it's a big W for me too since they're less likely to bother me with questions lol. Great vid as always!

I really liked the the instructions for my first four I built (Sixth110) I did still take some hints from your video of the older version still really helped a lot with visualizing what I needed to do so thank you for that! Those came out amazing (and bonus points for the helpful lighting video). The build experience with my Max140 Plus was the total opposite and not good at all. I won't go into all the details, but there was an incorrectly packaged bar that I didn't catch since it was my frist one and that caused a lot of pieces to come together wrong and I actually sheered through a few spots and bent others while tightening the screws. Thanks to the amazing customer service from Brian and his team they are making it right and I'll have all the replacement pieces next week. But I'll feel a lot better when I take everything apart again and rebuild. Still a bit worried that the biggest case with the heavier and more expensive pieces is the one I'm having issues with is still a bit concerning. I saved this one for last because I wanted the most experience before doing this one. Had i started with this one I probably wouldn't have wanted to build the other four. Again I'm super happy Brian made things right and he's a pillar in the community. But an updated video showing how to build the Max140 Plus would have saved a ton of stress on my side. Either way, thanks for the amazing and helpful content! Keep it up and still appreciate the help with ordering from 16 months ago.

@thejediknightswatch Thank you! I'm very happy Brian took such an active role with me and addressing this situation. It does show how much he cares and how his company is run. I sure wouldn't have gotten the same service for something I would have purchased from Ikea. I should have everything soon to start fresh. Glad to have both their and the community's support.

Still waiting on my first set of Moducases. I ordered them in February, they were suppose to ship Sept., and I got a notice they are not coming until late December. Long time, yep, expensive yep, worth it, oh yes I think they will be!
The wait is the hardest part honestly. I hope they keep working towards a short lead time! Stay strong my friend!

I hear ya, I ordered my first set as well, August of 2022 (4 of the 6th 110 from Sideshow) and im on my 4th delay. Now they are showing Nov 23 to April of 24 for shipping.
@@fullsail9036 Wow thats what i got too. 3x Six110's and one of their 4" risers for them, direct from Moduspace. Hopefully thats all with the delay notices!
@@fullsail9036Bro... what?? First guy said he'll be waiting 10 months total... and you're saying you'll have waited 1.75 _YEARS?_ And are you getting any return on this investment? Could throw that same money in S&P for guaranteed 10% annual return, whereas all Moducase guarantees is delays, excuses, and headaches. Even the most evil, predatory banks pretend to respect you more... Yeah that's an easy no. 😂😂
Currently right now I am building the new DF2401 wall system with drawers and risers. Little disappointed in the drawers, they don’t lock together as tightly as they should, and I have six middle bars to my df120’s they were not tapped correctly for their screws. Everything else has been great I love the system, I can’t wait to be complete. I’ve waited a year for this

@@thejediknightswatch Indeed I will! I am a third party transformers collector so I agree with what you said at the beginning go the video. I also believe that if we are going to spend thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars on our collections, we should protect and display it in something worth while. No Ikea retold or Billy is going to be able to do that, in my honest opinion. I also appreciate your videos, they have been the key to helping me get started on each build. Minus the drawers and risers, there really are no videos except for one and its hard to follow at that since the packaging is completely different as well
Well I'm used to building all the types of cells so those instructions that look very basic wouldn't be a problem for me and if not I have your videos that showcase it
I ordered 4 DF120 and 1 DF60 2 years ago and finally got these last week. It was a long wait unfortunately.

@@thejediknightswatch i actually checked went I ordered....it seemed like 2 years but it was actually on Nov 21, 2022 --- so about 11 months or so. But I did read of others having waited close to 2 years for theirs when I was doing my research.
@@1515cci I ordered 3 DF120s and some accessories in December 2022, finally got them now - middle of June 2024. Not a full 2 years for me, but still far beyond the 6-9 month quote lol.
If you have to choose only one btw DF120 or Sixth110, which one will be?
It would be DF120 for me. Bigger viewing area and more options for displaying. Also vehicles fit better!
For the price of the cases and to extend the “ease of assembly” for the buyer, I would like to receive printed instructions, along with some content on connecting for a wall display (additional product promotion). I, also, did not see anything on the lighting in the instructions, but I could have missed that.
I thought they had lighting instructions on their site but if not I have a video on that. It’s super easy!

I just wish they would cut down on the wait time ..ridiculous on there wait time..but very good display cases for sure..

They haven't got any better on their lead times. I placed an order for 10 moducases last November and they originally said April this year and I still haven't received them. I did receive another email saying I should have them by December, Seems the only way to get moducases faster is to be a content creator on youtube. lol
I’m sorry to hear that it’s still taking that long. I saw on their site it was a 6 month lead time, but it sounds like they are still not making those dates. Hang in there!
FYI when I ordered my cases it did take over 12 months as well. I have 3 back half shelves on order 2 months ago and I got an email recently that they would be Q1 2024 lol.
The only thing I think they need to work on and update is getting their products fast at the customers rather than have them wait for so long and change their mind to get something else not only that it would be nice if their product could also be sold at other places pacifically Lowe's and Home Depot if they could work out a deal with them that way people could also have the option of getting it at the store rather than waiting longer but the man saying is getting their products out fast cuz these I have definitely seen or the best saying when having six scale figures cuz it cannot only hold your figures in there but also if you want to have vehicles is the best thing from watching your Channel
That’s actually a great idea! Partnering with hardware stores to stock these things. Although it would be very dangerous for me haha.
I just got two DF120s FIFTEEN MONTHS after I ordered them. I was told six months when I ordered them. They're nice, but no way will I ever order from them again.
Sorry to hear that. I know Bryan is aware of the long wait times and doing what he can, unfortunately they deal with staffing issues and they are a small business trying to handle a large order volume.
Hope you like the DFs though!
