So thankful you’re doing the book club. 🇱🇷. As always loved your video.
Yay, thank you! Greatly appreciated, Susan!
National Treasure! ❤❤❤
isn't it the best?!
@@OldeAmericanSpirit Yes! "They're all saying one thing: listen to Riley." 😂😂😂
@@MorgansEndlessBookshelf love that movie.
@@MorgansEndlessBookshelf 😆😆
@@susanfryman5156 so good!
The Happy Life of Isadora Bentley was good! I laughed out loud several times & my adult daughter decided to read it & she also enjoyed it.
🇺🇸
That’s so great to know! Thank you. I’m ready to read it now!
🇺🇸💙🇺🇸
That edition is beautiful 😍
@@talesandtreatswithtay 💙💙
I am excited for our buddy read. I love your patriotic reads too!
I'm SO excited to read s&s with y'all. I've not read it yet! Thank you so much, friend! 💙💙
Love those patriotic books! I enjoy Paul Revere,1776, and the John Adams book.
You've read those already?? That's amazing!!
@@OldeAmericanSpirit yes, John Adams is one of my favorite people so I read that one a couple years ago. 1776 I read quite a long time ago.
@@CandlewickLibrary That is wonderful, Cheryl. So encouraging to my patriotic soul. haha Facts, stories, and some of John's own words (beyond the well-known stuff) have popped up in my reading over the last couple months and he was quite a character! He and Abigail both! The letters they wrote to each other are a hoot at times. I like the way he is truly himself and so brutely honest - even about his own flaws.
🇺🇸
Love that S&S edition. I have Anne of Green Gables in that edition. Happened to find it on book outlet for a good deal!
@@bethanybringsbooks really?! Didn’t know about other series in that style. My wallet isn’t happy with you in this moment😂😄
@@OldeAmericanSpirit 😂😂
If you can get your hands on the Annotated versions of Jane Austen's books by David M. Shapard (Editor). The story is on the left page and the annotation on the right page and he explains the society etiquette and what words mean as well as the difference between a phaeton or a barouche. They're so good. I don't think you can go wrong with any book written by David McCullough. Oh my goodness~! My son loved Island of the Blue Dolphins as a kid. =) 👍 (U.S.A. flag emoji not available, so I'm letting you kow I made it to the end) LOL
Those annotated ones sound very interesting. Will check that out.
I'm excited to read the Blue Dolphins book.
Thank you for hanging out with me today! 💙🇺🇲
46 holds 😂😂
@@talesandtreatswithtay haha dork alert 👀🤓
I believe there is a long list of the Tea Room Mysteries. There is also a mystery series Secrets of Wayfarers Inn. I have a few of them and they look interesting. Some of them have colonial vibes. Also a guidepost series.
@@bethanybringsbooks what?!?! Colonial vibes too. Yipee!! *researches these books the rest of the day* 🤓🤩

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 so glad you are here!
🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
yes mam 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Hello 😊 I got behind watching my subscriptions!
You find the most interesting books ❣️❣️ I paused this 2 times to go to my library app. I found Paul Revere's Ride and The American Colonies, yay!! I couldn't find any of the guidepost books though.
Looking forward to your July recap - I enjoy your channel so much - short and sweet 😉. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸📖📚📑📓
Aweee you are too kind! That truly makes my day that it helped you find wonderful books. YAY to the patriotic books!!! Love that you are here, June! 💙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 💙
🇺🇸I’m excited about book club! I liked the tea room mystery book. I’ve only read that first one in that series though. I love tea so I was drawn to it. I love a good fruity rooibos blend. 🫖
Oh, loved the National Treasure clip…great movie. Nicolas Cage is like my fave movie guy. 😂 From back in Valley Girl and Moonstruck days.
I'm excited about the book club too! I'm newly getting into hot tea. FUN!
@@OldeAmericanSpirit Well, in the south we really have only about 3 months where it is cold enough. Now, iced tea, yum! We even have like a Starbucks for iced tea. Do y’all have HTeaO? The almond green is delicious.
@@ReadJournalLove I'm not an iced tea girl. No HTeaO, sadly.
