Been wanting to update my T713 for ages but could never find instructions I felt safe with. All this worked a treat. Only thing I did different was to install Gapps. Also the efoundation ROM is unfortunately no longer on their list for this device.

I have a T810. Can LineageOS still work with it? aIt has Android 7 and a lot of my apps are no longer supported because the Android version is too old. The tablet is fine though. It's fast, the battery works well, and it's not broken. I really don't want to buy a new $500 device just because of Samsung's planned obselecense.

Another note: nothing against channel48 but this video doesn't show you have to install google apps. Know this: ARM 64 BIT / Android 10 / Nano.
We are custom rom users and live without google sometimes.. opengapps.org chose right build arm android - and only on non microg roms - opengapps is flashed right after flashing the rom in recovery twrp
@@channel48 I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 Wifi. DOING THIS TODAY (8/10/23): I did try GAPPS Android 10 - Arm 32 - Nano. That did not work and the screen showed that I needed the Arm 64. Weird but I did install Android 10 - ARM 64 - NANO and it worked. Keep in mind, if the first boot doesn't work ... don't freak out. Hit power + volume down until it restarts. The first boot will not load in all the way. After the second boot (it does take longer than normal ... let it go for like 5 minutes), you should be good to go :)

Het heeft bij mij gewerkt! Dank daarvoor, de tablet draait nu op android 11. Ik kan alleen geen apps installeren, er staan geen playstore meer op. Ik kan ook geen google account toevoegen. Wat doe ik fout?

developers options turn on Tab 8 times on build number
I did download the TWRP for my tab S2 T813 but when I try to start the recovery the screen gets crazy and it does not go into recovery in order to upload the Lieneage os with Android 10......I don't know why...I tried everything.....help......

@@channel48 I just tried to root it but it does not "accept" it and goes to factory reset... Now IS LIKE new tab.... 😭😭😭Never happened this before... I did root recovery and install many Roms years ago... Now it does not work... Bye

Tried to update my Tab S2 using your instruction. While copying the TWRP software to my Tab using ODIN I got the message FAIL. Coping process stopped. Do you have any advice to overcome that problem? Pls let me now! Regards Mario

Bricked!!??...All was going well with the Lineage 17 upgrade thx to Rom P May's tutorial...then I accidentally hit Download instead of Recovery at 11"05' - now upon reboot all I get is the opening screen with the word Samsung. Can I recover from here? Love this S2 and hope I havent bricked it. I'd be so appreciative if you can help.
No you did not brick it - hit vol down power and home until in download mode - the press vol down it will reboot be quick vol up home power and release at logo - will bring you in twrp
Hello @@channel48 - thank you for the reply. I can't turn the tablet off now, even by pressing the Power/Vol dwn and hm button and cant get the SM t713 to move into twrp from startup. I get to the screen :Warning" where I can use either Vol up or Dwn which brings me to the Samsung logo screen. From that screen I still can't turn it the tablet off. So I have left the mini usb power cable attached.
Try this Hold Vol + Power down until it reboots it must reboot then at reboot be quick vol up + Home + Power and release them 2 seconds after Samsung logo pops in it should show a small yellow text recovery at the top left .. try that and answer faster please !
With the Samsung wording on screen (brightening and dimming) I hit Pwr/ Vol Dwn. The screen with Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 comes up. Then I hit the Vol Up/Hm/Pwr for two seconds. The next screen is the word Samsung (with no other wording) on screen. Nothing happens. So I went through the process again, without doing Vol Up/Hm/Pwr on the first screen but waited for the second screen with the Samsung word to come upfor two seconds. Did it several times with slight changes in speed. Nothing happening yet. Thx
YES!!! After Pwr button and Vol Dwn I didnt wait for the Samsung screen to come up. Once power dows was initiated I hit the Pwr/Vol Up/ Hm and got in. Thank you very much - More soon.

It didn´t work with me, it stopped after I install the twrp-3.6.1_9-0-gts28vewifi.img. After that I press for a long time as you show us but I don´t get the blue writing or the twrp mode ;( please help

Hey sir. I did everything correctly I tried the e foundation rom but it boots to download mode I tried holding power button, Volume down, With the home button. It will show the tab s2 boot and on top of the screen it says "Set warranty bit: Kernel" and it boots me back to download mode, Did I brick the device??
Uhm you did unlock bootloader in developers options if yes you should format data in twrp then flash rom tell me what you all did

Greetings!. I After the download of TWRP to my device via Odin 3.13 or 3.14, when the status bar (line) disappears on the Downloading screen and the screen becomes blank, pressing simultaneously Power, Volume Up, and Home, the yellow line appears. But when I release the three key combination, the the device just reboots back to Android 7.0. I've tried several times with fast to slow releases of the three-key combination, but all with the same result. Please help. Thanks!

daarna zou ik op de tablet moeten aangeven dat de garantie is verlopen door her rooten maar op dat moment blijft het scherm zwart en gaat niet verder. ik heb de usb driver versie aangepast, 2 verschillende tar bestanden geprobeerd en 2 versies van odin geprobeerd allemaal met hetzelfde resultaat. graag ondersteuning
bootloader unlocken OEM aanzetten in developers options - eerst ip ieuw resetten naar officieel als je niet meer kunt opstarten samfw.com
bootlocker en OEM had ik vlgs het filmpje gedaan. kan de tablet wel weer opgestart krijgen @@channel48
jazeker samfw.com firmware ophalen uitpakken naar folder en met Odin en tab in download mode kun je weer resetten naar nieuw officieel
