I’ve been playing Oathmark now for two years. As an old Warhammer refugee, it really scratches that itch… it’s an old school vibe with modern mechanics. I also love how agnostic it is. Right now, I’m painting up an old metal GW wood elf army for the game. Great fun!
@@AgentsofSigmar where did you get it ? They seem to be gone forever. I also had and lost a hobbit poster, and one other which was either silmillion or the last song.
How feasible is playing Oathmark with Warmaster "WM" miniatures (including WM base size)? I'm done playing proper large engagement battles (e.g. formation warfare) at the 25 mm + scale. I'm might be willing to accept it for early medieval, warband type engagements where there was little to no unit cohesion.
I had a quick word with Jon who has played quite a bit of Warmaster in his time. His feel was it's doable, but you'd have to really want to do it to make it worth the effort.
You see, Age of Sigmar is my favorite game! Frostgrave is my second favorite game (which is why I clicked on this video). And I have all the other games by Joe McCullough. Skipped Oathmark because I've never cared about rank-and-file games. Though I love the idea of mixing fantasy races.
Honestly oathmark is becoming one of my favorite games
Nice overview of a great game! I am looking forward to your next battle report!
Oathmark is a great game and my go to game at the moment. Love to see more on this 😀

Have you tried Kings of War?
Loved this game! Would love to see more of it. Has definitely got me interested in trying it.
Sorry for the delayed response, definitely something Im (Pete) keen to try and play more of on the channel live
love the LOTR poster. I still have mine which I bought as a teenager, and is has always been up on display.
I only acquired mine recently but I love it!

It was a Christmas present a couple of years ago. I'm not sure how it was sourced, I'm afraid.
Really enjoying mantics kings of war - but just picked up Oathmark as really interested in the kingdoms and campaigns.
Great game. My local gaming group has gone whole hog on this.
I just got into Oathmark. I'm also getting into Infamy, Infamy with historicals.
I've not heard of that but it's a great name for a game!
@@AgentsofSigmar It seems to be really entertaining. Here is a link to this guy who modded it for medieval.

@@AgentsofSigmar Thanks, I'll look into it.
Is there any way to watch the stream if we missed it?
ua-cam.com/video/pBiwHBw9IYs/v-deo.html it's was our first time streaming a game so it's a bit ropey. Lessons have been learned for future games!
Good to see it but don’t think it will replace Kings of War for me.
A lot of people are using Oathmark to play Tolkien settings.
Interesting. I may have to investigate further.
Great game.
How does it compare with SAGA? The Viking / Danes game
I haven't played Saga, but I'd like to!
@@AgentsofSigmar There must be some local players that can come round yours and guide you though it

I think the strength of Oathmark is that it doesn't feel like an R&F game.
Sadly you lost me at rank & flank. More Lord of the Rings and Moonstone, please!
Don't worry, they're coming!
