They could've tried harder with the rhyming in some spots. For example: Warrior of Light: "You're not all you're cracked up to be. I'll teach you some humility." Garland: "Another so-called 'mastermind' I'll respond to your wrath in kind." Firion: "Jack-of-all-weapons? Master of none? You'll have narrowed it down before I'm done." Kain: "Not leaving? You should. I think it's quite clear you're up to no good." Bartz: "Stupidity? Impossible to gauge. Fools aren't meant for this stage." Terra: "Without control, can you call it power? If not, you will be devoured." Cloud: "You should keep your feet on the ground, especially with me around." Tifa: "A whelp like you best the likes of me? Your foolishness, I'll make you see." Ultimecia: "Is that all the magic you command? I have more in just one hand." Jecht: "Hmph. A man that acts like a child. I'll teach you to run wild." Mirror Match: "A failed copy of perfection? I'll not delay in your destruction!" Vaan: "You'll learn to mind your tongue, or from it you'll be hung." Gabranth: "I am the law here. It's time you learned that, my dear."
When facing Yuna, Shantotto says, "A summoner, you say? Let's see a display". This is a reference to the fact that summoning is a forbidden school of magic in Vana'diel, due to the possibly life-threatening strain it puts on the summoner's body. basically saying that she wants yuna to die. lol

+Viktor Rucký My god I googled her name, read about her, and now I'm like She's the new biggest badass. She seems to be a worthy opponent to my physics teacher.
I LOVE how everyone says she's a cheap character and hard to beat because of it. She is my best character and just like every character she has points both good and bad. Her bravery is basically trapped at base level unless you can expertly use her easily blockable attacks. Her HP attacks while powerful are also a gamble of sorts. A high speed character (like Zidane or Tidus) can dodge and strike if you use them carelessly and long range fighters (especially Ulitmecia and The Emperor, both of whom when played right can turn the field into a playground of nightmares) can destroy anybody how doesn't know what they're doing with her. Her greatest perk of being small and hard to hit are balanced out evenly, but she's a fighter that you have to be patient to beat, can't just rush into it without a battle plan. Those ill-prepared wont be spared (RANT OVER)

+BluArc Oh my god, she really transformed in my physics teacher!

Sweetie on Tiny Toons, Irma on W.I.T.C.H., Cow and Chicken's mom on Cow and Chicken, Dona and Pacce in FF10, Madame Foster on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and probably many others I haven't named here.
Cecil needs another job, Onion Knight is fried, Exdeath and his unaVOIDable defeat, ruin and rage in the right mage from Kefka? She see's Kuja's tail, Childish Jecht?! I absolutely love Shantotto.
She means both paladins and dark knights are accessible in FFXI. if you have both unlocked, Like Cecil does, you can switch between them at will. In short, it's a reference to XI's lolDRK (dark knight) trope. DRK is a great job in the right hands, but not everyone can play it well.
Or that she's curious to discover how she's able to summon so frequently without putting that strain on herself. To Shantotto, observing her summons is basically just another form of experiment.
Well, in XI she's quite an old lady. She's retired, lived through, and fought in, the Crystal War over 20 years ago in model vana'diel time. Guessing above 60.
Interesting that in the original Dissidia, Shantotto's quote against Sephiroth makes it sound as if she's at least weary/cautious of him. Saying "I may actually have to *try* this time." 🧐 Sure, she can more than likely mop the floor with him but at the same time she's not careless enough to underestimate Sephiroth.
