ALL of Rome is crowded but LOVE ❤️ IT !! Just left..it's the Best..❤ Everything walking distance-stayed near the Patheon went inside the Coliseum..Bravo..did it all.
We just returned from Italy and I’m so thankful for your videos,I’m planning my next trip back in a few years and will definitely be visiting these churches!
Monti is the neighborhood i love, no crowded but full of wonderful churches, streets, corners, unique atmosphere, another one i prefer is Quartiere Coppedè, congratulation for your video...Rome❤
I will visit Quartiere Copede when I visit soon .Hopefully it will be less crowded ,with no overflowing bins and rubbish dumped on the streets .So happy to have lived in Rome during the years it was clean
I always enjoy seeing the basilica. The paintings, frescos, and statues are so beautiful! Are the chains of Peter visible or just under the altar? I felt welcomed by the organ music. Thank you so much for this historical video. I so enjoyed.🥰❤
Very good walk! The stairway once was a "vicus", that is a small street, that from the Suburra went up to the Oppius Mons. Vicus Cuprius its name, but it was renamed Vicus Sceleratus after the murder of the fifth King of ancient Rome, Servius Tullius, by the hand of two killers followers of Tarquinius the Proud and even by the cruel Tullia Minor, Tarquinius' wife and Servius' daughter!! All of this and much more in my "The last Kings of Rome - the Etruscan dynasty that ruled the Eternal City".

I was just there a couple of weeks ago... it was crowded and hot but well worth it. If you love Roman ruins the entire metro area is a paradise.
