- Let's explore the Cairns Region!
First stop is the Atherton Tablelands - this spot is a must visit but make sure you bring your winter woolies and rain gear.
We then take the road less travelled to Undara via Jumna Dam - this is a good spot for 4WD & camping.
Undara is our next stop and although we have no tours booked there are a lot of self guided walking tracks you can do. Here is our previous video of our time at Undara

Next onto Talaroo. You can't see anything without a tour but this spot should be a must visit. Tour info here www.talaroo.co...
Ever heard of Einsaleigh? Neither had we but its well worth the detour. A good pub meal, cold drinks and Copperfield Gorge a short walk way

Loved the part with the closed during the morning hike

Hey mate thanks for the comment :) sorry I removed your last comment…. New car is still under wraps haha…. But to answer that question yea definitely the new car is going to be built as a remote touring rig :)
@@OverlandTravellers awesome I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee which I’m getting ready to do some trips always watch you guys to get some ideas keep up with vids you do some much putting Australias beauty out there👍👍
great job guy's
Great job editing cuts to the soundtrack 👏 👌
Watching you from Cape Tribulation atm. Matt and Hols. As a long time fan, you guys are inspirational......
Thank you guys for visiting and showcasing my traditional ewamain land, awesome .
nice video mates.,.,Godblesss..keep travelling
What gorgeous scenery!
Loving the outback QLD, guys. Also, can’t beat the 150 Prada’s - such a good chariot for where you’re at
Thanks guy's great ep,some really pretty scenery out that way,the drone shot's were spot on.Thanks.😎
good on you two new to this you will look back and be glad you did this love nz
love the tablelands great walks and waterfalls
Another great vid guys. Really looking forward to your Kimberely adventures.
Safe travels and have fun
as always beautifully filmed. well done.
Holly & Matt thanks for the video 👍👍👍
the drone stuff is so cool thanks guys and cheers
Hey guys! Awesome video. We are heading to Undara soon and cant wait! 🙂
You deserve your success you work hard.
The drone footage of the cloud was awesome. Too awesome. That area of volcanic pool reminded me of Rotorua in NZ, they have alot of volcanic pools with different colours. This side of Cairns are amazing, yes definitely look like the top end that we are currently staying right now. Thanks for the awesome vid 😘
Thanks for sharing some of your promo work, as an FNQ local I still very much enjoyed seeing the footage of my local area, professionally filmed in ways, I don't have the skills or equipment to capture. Totally understand you guys needing to work at times to pay for your trips .. looking forward to the Kimberley edition, I'm sure Elsie will love it. Cheers
Thanks Craig appreciate the comment. We can't wait to get out in Elsie again!
Awsome vid guys and the drone work in the clouds was epic. Thought you'd got a new prado in the first 30 secs.... 😀
What drone are you using love it
Hey Matt and Holly, when you do astro time lapses like in this vid, how often are you shooting a photo and is it rendered into 25fps? I'm hoping to do an astro timelapse in a week but have only done 1 before and like the rate of movement in yours.
Apart from the crocodiles, snakes deadly ones at that, killer stingers, mosquitos that spread disease, heat and cyclones I’d say go for it people.
Juma dam is beautiful place to camp
The tent looks so cool! Were you bringing it in your Prado or was it provided by the site?
It was a permanent tent at Undara :)
@@OverlandTravellers
I am referring to the tent at Talaroo! The place is absolutely stunning, really eager to go there but I don't have a campervan nor a tent, no way I can stay there unless the site provides some sort of accommodation! Thanks again for sharing your adventures!😉
@@miubeebee8676 oh sorry! Yes that was a tent permanently at Talaroo :) you’re going to love it when you go!!
@@OverlandTravellers
Wow! That's great! How much does it cost and how do I book it?
Watching you guys get out there in your old hilux and building Elsie was great, but you seem to have lost that passion. Its like the only reason you are going to any of these places is "to get some shots", its like this lifestyle has become a chore.
good luck to you both
Going to the Kimberly in Elsie in a few weeks mate.
Sorry but really not sure what direction your channel is now heading.
Hey mate did you watch the start of the video where we had the disclaimer about why it’s different? But as we said at the end, back to normal trips in Elsie in a few weeks.
Yes I did but why put a video up just for the sake of it instead of being genuine maybe it's time to now concentrate on your careers moving forward as I'm sure you guys would be successful.
@@billramsey800 so everyone else that has commented and enjoyed the video don’t count? Just remember, this channel is for thousands of people, not just yourself. If one person found it useful or entertaining then that’s enough for me.
Obviously you're not happy with this post as you said at the start yet when someone agrees and comments, it's a different story. I don't recall saying that everyone else's comments don't count? And I don't need your reminder. If you only made one person happy you would not be satisfied with that and you know it.
someones cranky they didn't have their morning billy, people do different thing's they told you its not the usual content at the start but you still want to sook and moan as if this 20 minute video holds the awnser to the meaning of life.
As a cairns local there was tones of amazing shots and I really enjoyed it, if you don't like this content, wait untill they release the usual content or take a hike, you're nothing but a sheep who can't handle new things.
Nah, still not for me, sorry guys. Bring back Elsie and proper adventure. These marketing videos and overly long scenes with just music are nowhere close to your older (good) stuff.
Hey mate, literally at 2:30 in the video we said “if you’re here for 40 content this video isn’t for you”?
But don’t worry your 40 fix is coming big trip in Elsie coming up.
@@OverlandTravellers thank you! Can’t wait 👍
you guys seem bigger as people than a Prado.. but wow incredible drone footage of the hill scenary 🏞️😎 okay let's see the rest now
hrmm interesting campsite for the area. some good videography 📹
Don’t worry trip to the Kimberley in Elsie soon leaving in a few weeks
