- The plaintiff says she and the defendant dated, and she added him to her phone plan. He stiffed her on payment for four devices, so she’s suing him for the thousands he owes her. The defendant says he paid his portion of the phone bill every month. He claims she still owes him money, so he’s countersuing for what he alleges he’s owed.

These foolish people buy phones, lend money, give credit cards, etc. to someone who's credit is so bad that they can't even get a cellphone account in their name. Then they're surprised when they don't pay them back. They had better improve their skills at judging people.

I'm surprised JM let him get away with this. He was caught TWICE in bald-faced lies (texting plaintiff that the police report was somewhere in his house after claiming there was no police report, and saying he had his things stolen from his car along with her after claiming he never had hers). It's true they deserve each other, but he was the one who was lying. I wish he'd had to pay everything.
All that showed was that he was a bad lier and that she some how still believed every last one of those stupid lies. At some point personal responsibility comes in to play and she is responsible for her stupid decisions.

An X-friend of mine got me a phone back in '06 that I never asked for, nor wanted. He said it was a one year contract and to just use it because it was paid for. I rarely used it. I still had a landline still. He would complain that I wasn't using it enough and it was going to waste, and every time, I would offer to return it, and he wouldn't take it. I was never so happy to return anything in life as I did that phone at the end of that year.

My ex wanted to get a new phone and I had a upgrade on my dads account. When I found her cheating I said I wanted that phone back because my dad ain’t paying for your phone anymore. Her dad came to me and said so mean saying you’ll get the phone when she gets a new one I said no no i don’t care that’s no my problem. He handed the phone over.
