THIS is why I believe UA-cam and social media like it are the future of music. Collaboration and mutual love of music and respect for other artists! Everyone is enjoying themselves and the music. You have Dorje, featuring Colin who's from another UA-cam channel and Bea is wearing a Rest Repose shirt, which is another UA-cam channel. No one is afraid to "endorse" another channel or support other channels cause unlike television or radio, you can be a fan of multiple channels and it doesn't detract from any of the others. With tv, you can only watch one channel at a time, therfore it is in direct competition with all other programming that is on at the same time. UA-cam is always "on" and always available. I just get the biggest smile when I see one of my fav youtube stars wearing another UA-camrs shirt etc... it makes me feel closer and more connected to them cause they watch the same channels I do :D

Eh, I'm underwhelmed, he always sounds underpowered and strained to me. This is a good band in need of a better lead singer. Not that I'd sack Rob, he's an awesome riff-monster and could still do background vocals effectively.
Agreed, Rob's just not a singer. Nothing personal against the guy but it dosen't matter how much he works on his voice he's never going to lose the cringe element.

I'm not being judgemental at all. I fully understand that Rob is just a guy who dared to try. He's OK - but he's not THAT great. He's a far better guitarist than singer.

Flower of life sounds hench af. Phat. Also I wish chappers displayed some signals of humanity whilst singing like he does when playing guitar. I know that he's focusing a lot on his voice at those moments but it looks like he is about to die in a day.

Whoever filmed that live part should take over the duty, you should consider posting this show in it's entirety. It would only benefit you. The POV of being front and center whilst being in the audience is unique and should be further explored.

Not jst the performance. Plus amny people dont get to see those beautiful places and sceneries including me. :D so really loved the blog. Was ur fan and always will be. Great music. Great musicians. The Dorje is the sceptre of the Tibetan Lamas. Used in most lama ritual, and signifying mastery of life in the material world, it is also known as the thunderbolt of Indra-Indra being, more or less, the equivalent Indian deity of Jupiter.

A good move for this band would be for Rob to stand down as lead vocalist and join his mate on guitar. Find a lead vocalist front man for the band and they might have something but as long as Rob sings I'm afraid these types of gigs will be the best they will be able to do..
