For anyone curious, my test results came back negative!
Congratulations on the Covid test! Be positive and stay Negative!
The tour has been great so far and I'm having a blast. I'm gonna post a lot more stuff like this as soon as I can. There's not a lot of down time, so I appreciate everyone's patience.

Those solo gigs can be a little lonely, but there are always a couple of people that will make you feel comfortable and appreciated. Most of the time.

I'm supposed to be on a plane now to come see you in London tomorrow but my knee is effed and I can't even walk. I'm totally gutted. I was so looking forward to a bit of Otis concert normality. Watching you take your first covid test gave me a good laugh though. I've taken so many of those suckers. Here for any travel-in-the-time-of-covid related qus.
Also, get one of your UK friends to get you a free pack of NHS lateral flow tests. They take 15 mins, you do them 'at home' and you can keep a regular check on making sure you're not catching anything you don't want.

I cherish my memories of visiting the UK and I found myself quite moved by your views from the train window. That really took me back to happy feelings I had when I brought my son on a trip to Scotland. Thank you.
Thank you for the update we all been missing you. I'm surprised there is anyone left over in the U.K. since today America was opened up to vaxed Europeans. Have a good time Otis enjoy your U.K./Expat fans.
I have taken 4 test 3 of them were required before surgeries not the most comfortable thing to do but not the worst either. Have a great show have fun and be safe.
As someone who attended this gig this was great to see some of the back story of that night. Think the fan was an air filter as the virus is airborne that's probably a good thing.

Thank you for giving us a view into your life, Otis. One of my dreams is to visit Glasgow and near the Borders.
I took a Abott home test last Friday. I just wanted to be supersafe because I was visiting my infant great-neice for the first time. I’m vaxxed and boosted. [I was able to see but not hold her ~~ only grandparents during these times.]

I just did that same test back in August when I was in Scotland..but I also had to have a negative test result to get on the plane going home which I had to take at the airport. have a great tour amigo.

Hi Otis. Thanks for posting this. I like the fact that you show us just how it is with no pretense. Great to see what kind of places you're playing. Looks nice. Can imagine that it is a little cold up there. You haven't got a sensitive uvula or whatever it's called for the covid test . I had to do one for the first time in the summer and it was hard work not trying to gag when doing it. Thanks for the video. Enjoy your tour.

The excitement of backstage dressing rooms. I played in an americana/blues/pop group in Birmingham. Some ladies from Seattle wanted to attend the "after party". They were disappointed when. I told them the other 3 guys in the band have to start their day job shifts in about 5 hours. They thought I was joking and just didnt think they were worthy. They were sure that debauchery and smashed televisions and trashed hotel rooms was going to happen, please let them come. I told them to ask the other guys what they had planned, they're over there with their WIVES, but I'm going home to my wife

How do you adjust set lists from place to place or do you do it like stones and do the same show?
I'm such a slob that placing a swab up my nose I would in no way require adhesives to seal the sample package.
Get those face diapers/nappies on real tight and keep taking the Booster shots!
