41 Vanlifers in Europe do a Massive Beach Clean Up in Greece, Peloponnese, and this is the story:

VANLIFE EUROPE: VANLIFERS DO BEACH CLEAN UP IN GREECE
Initiated by @Querdurcheuropa365 & @Front.Seat.Stories we did a Beach Cleaning on one of the Greece Beaches in Peloponnese. A beautiful beach where many sea-turtles lay their eggs every year. A beach where we found 3 washed up dead sea-turtles. They probably died of plastic pollution.
    IF YOU CARE, THEN SHARE!
If you agree that plastic pollution in Greece is a huge problem, and you want to End Plastic Pollution, Save the Turtles and Rescue Planet life then:

ABOUT THE BEACH CLEAN UP IN GREECE
It is incredible what can be done with one beach clean up by 41 Vanlifers from Europe, including kids, in only 1 day! Even more incredible how much trash was lying on the 5 kilometres of Greek Beach. We covered 1,5 kilometres of it. In total, we filled 250 trash bags and found a lot of other mind-blowing objects. All of it just lying around, waiting to be picked up by the wind or the ocean to join the Plastic Soup. Animals die from plastic pollution as, for example, the plastic resolves into microplastics and goes into their food system.
A lot of the trash comes from the ocean. That’s why Ocean Clean Up’s are so important in Saving the Ocean. The other part of the Plastic Trash comes from the land side. Both areas are the result of human behaviour; usually the consequence of little to poor education. When people do their research they’ll find out that it is making a huge impact on their lives. Educating people about Plastic Waste, Plastic Soup and Plastic pollution is a very important step. Think about the children who will have to face the consequences of this behaviour and the choices we make.
    BEACH CLEAN UP PROJECTS
We want to inspire and activate people by showing people the effects of plastic waste, by telling the reasons why it is necessary to keep our environment clean and making an impact by organising and sharing Beach Clean up projects.
    EUROPE VANLIFE COMMUNITY
Doing or sharing these beach clean up’s is more important than you might think. Also, it’s a lot of fun to do it! We got to know this wonderful group of vanlifers sharing the same mindset, on the same day and made it into a group-effort. Even though we hadn’t met before. It definitely is this Vanlife Community making a positive change to the perception of the Vanlife Movement.
These are precious vanlife stories to clean the Greek Beaches so that the sea turtles can lay their eggs in a beach free from plastic. We want to inspire the Vanlife Society to leave all places better than how they find them. So that van lifestyle can continue in a positive way instead of getting banned everywhere due to the perception of them making waste.
But the most important thing is to activate people to end the plastic pollution, pick up plastic waste, save the turtles and save the ocean from plastic soup.
    FREE GREECE FROM PLASTIC POLLUTION
Locals from Greece came to help to start making Greece Plastic Free. We came in contact with the Greece municipality of this specific area and step by step, trash bag by trash bag, making a bigger impact along the way.
    ORGANISE BEACH CLEAN UPS!
Did you ever think of picking up plastic and organise a beach clean up? It’s easy. It’s fun. It’s a perfect body work-out ánd you are working towards a Plastic Free Planet! We can assure you one thing; you will be filled with energy and feel incredibly satisfied afterwards.
    THANK YOU
A Special thanks and shout out goes to all the Vanlifers who helped with this amazing project! We couldn’t have done it without you 🙏

That sea turtle shape of trash bags in the end is so will done and also slightly ironic, as the turtle in the beginning might have died from pollution inflicted damage. We need more people like you on this planet and less short-sighted polluters!

If they can get 250 bags in one day, then imagine what else is out there ...... BAH !

If you're just tuning in, they don't begin till 5:00. And Vanlifers aren't beach cleaning machines.

Would have been nicer if your trucks didn't tear up the beach. It is forbidden to drive motor vehicles on beaches in Greece. Please share.
