Of all guitar manufacturers I've tried, Godin quality is superior. I am NOT an accomplished guitar player but I realized the meticulous attention to detail immediately with my fist Godin guitar. Each one therefter had the same immpecable character. This irresistable model will be my 4th Godin. I was just waiting for the retailer to restock - I snatched it up immediately! My understanding is these have become quite the smash hit for Godin and I can understand why. Can't wait to play it! Thanks Godin for being such an awesome CANADIAN company! Best wishes from Thunder Bay!

Wonderful playing. I could re-watch this video over and over... and what an awesome, versatile axe! Just picked up a coral blue one (with the two point trem system) this summer... still blown away by it!
What a magnificent demo, no distortion necessary and no talking - the guitar did that. Exquisite playing showed a fabulous range of tones. And I was looking for the HT demos - - - . Decisions, decisions.
Possibly the best demo of a guitar I have ever seen/heard. Great job Andy. Such amazing and beautiful playing. Really let me see what this guitar was capable of. Absolutely has made me obsessed with this guitar. Godin, let him demo all of your instruments. Some of your demos (without Andy) really stink (thinking of the new Radium demo).
What a great demo! Looks like Andy can play ANY genre...awesome player. And he demonstrates the guitar like it should: mostly clean, with all possibilities and nuances of the pickup combinations. Kudos Godin Guitars!
Absolutely beautiful guitar, just picked one up (used). Had it set up with a local luthier. The neck feels better than my Fender Strat and Fender Thin-line tele. I am surprise that the local guitar stores are not pushing this vs other American brands.
Hi. What would you say is the sound character of your passion swamp ash cedar body compared to the stadium 59 ? Thanks a lot and congrats on the guitars !!
*What a beatiful guitar!! im prefer the coral blue, honor mention, this guitarist is amazing!* I have a Godin guitar the Progression plus model, i strong recommend godin guitars!
Can't play like this guy, but I own the guitar and it's amazing. Only change I would consider would be the split humbucker alone, for a classic tele neck sound, instead of the split humb+bridge single in series or in parallel in position 2 and 4. Second downturn, the bridge metal is quite raw, unfinished, you could polish it a little bit more, so you can play slinky string without problems. That said, it's an amazing guitar. I own also american made fender and gibson, and the godin is superior. Fantastic quality. Low weigth, very comfortable, awesomely refinished neck, good pick up combo, bridge single is amazing, fantastic guitar at a very affordable price for the quality.
@@goosegaskins Me too, and yes still digging it....so much lighter than a my previous Teles..soooo light :-)...and he wasn't even running it through pedals..pedals!...a WHOLE new pandoras box o' fun with this baby! :-)
Been playing for 27 years and never really had my ‘forever’ guitar until i got one of these this past August. Best guitar i’ve ever played and there’s no ground that can’t be covered with that pickup configuration. One thing i noticed and others i’ve brought it up to agree, the standard white pickguard it comes with gives it a cheap/cheesy feel. When i got mine, it came with the classic tortoise shell, brown/red pickguard. It stands out so much against that desesrt green. I’ve talked to severeal people and they all noted the same thing, “i passed by this guitar when i saw it….hated that white pickguard”. Then they played mine and were floored. I know this is a useless comment about aesthetics but…if you can’t get it in hands, it’s not going to matter how good it is. There’s a lot of pretty guitars on the shelf that you have to stand out against and no matter how much experience we all got…..we still will tend to shop with our eyes first and foremost. Then once we pick it the experience kicks back it to make a proper judgement of the guitar of course, but looks are the initial attraction for most.
Beautiful guitar! I just wish they would make some with a thicker and wider neck. A lot of tone comes from the neck and a lot of players need a larger neck to fit their hands. At around 41mm at the nut is awfully crowded unless you have smaller hands!
Nice to see a very cool guitar, tastefully demoed for us non-shredders out here. Great job of showing all the different settings with and without the hdr. What's the deal on the neck color of this model?
Em.. What is the difference between Stadium and Session Custom'59? Except for the bridge. I just wonder in what way this is updated version of SC'59 so that I can decide which one I should get.
Honestly just think it's the bridge. Session has the tremolo arm and the stadium is fixed. They discontinued the session.. can usually find them for around 600 canadian. Not bad, just depends if you want the tremolo. Hope that helps.
@@seanthomasmusic Cool, yeah, I was thinking it sounded wonderful! I have a Seagull S6 that, for only ~$450, has become a desert island guitar for me. I'm very interested in making the jump to a Godin electric...
A question for Andy. This being a T-type guitar, i suppose this would be the proposed Godin electric for country twang? Any thoughts anyone? I'm a starter with an interest in the country sound of the guitar. I'm trying to figer out the components that make the country sound and how much each part is the bigger component of that sound. Obviously the Fender Tele is the standard. The guitar is the biggest component of that sound but i'm still wondering, if you start with a good twangy guitar, are the final components that really sculpt the sound are the pedals? Compression, drive, delay and a fourth from what i'm getting from the videos. I know, start with a good guitar! Got to make the best choices cause from what i see, the cost of numerous pedals can surpass your sole investment in the guitar. I know lots of questions here..., I'm thinking of an all in one type of pedal to start, to get some experience with pedals without overspending and avoiding buying less than judicious individual pedals. I'm open to comments, especially from Andy if he can join in the conversation. Got to say that I'm set on buying a Godin for sure. I live in Quebec, Canada and surely want to own one of their top quality guitar.
Honestly just discovered this guitar tonight while searching MIM Fender Teles. I love the look and tones, I'm seriously thinking of trading in my Gibson Les Paul for this lol. 🤘 Gonna call the shop tomorrow, so excited! 🎸
@@Chilinoploppy I put one on hold and checked it out, very nice guitar but the shop was giving me a crappy deal on my LP so I didn't do the trade. I will say I didn't like the green in person as much as online, wish it was darker in bright light it seemed quite pale to me. ✌️

Shit ! This guitar sound is so rich !
What kind of amp are you running this through?
Hi Laurie - I used a mid-70s Fender Princeton.
Love it but lightweight is a must for me, what is the weight?
Own one and its coming in right around 7lbs... very resonant.
I just got mine. It weights only 3.040 kg (6.7 lbs). And it feels good balanced.
The cajun single coil sounds thin and weak though. I would replace that with something better. Other than that, they rest is good.
Are pickups noisy?
After hearing the HDR I can't help but find the passive mode boring.
This guitar is not available anywhere to-day.
