I've been playing P.U.N.K. Eldlich with zombie world & support and a few Shiranui in the extra deck for flavor. I outfoxed a full-combo Cyberdark player lmao i had their Cyber Dragon fusion monster attack for game.
I remember watching a game on Duel Live where Duelist B made a U-Link with Iblee and passed. Unfortunately, they had one monster effect negate. The first card Duelist A played was Floowandereeze and the Unexplored Winds. I'm sure you know where the duel went from there.
This isn't sarcasm and I'm not someone who hates this kind of gameplay. But I really find it hilarious when we have these 5-8 minute turns comboing out is just demolished by "Tribute your monsters for Kaiju/Ra/Lava Golem" and that this is still, at least from my knowledge, the only non-negatable "removal" xD
there are some cards able to negate tribute summons but I can't find ruling about the point of negation does it just negate before the monsters are tribute or after
@@GRtogetaBIC I agree, my respect for good trap deck players (aside from maybe drawing unsearchable floodgates) has kinda grown just because you ideally need to learn multiple different decks to a certain extent to interrupt them properly and with as much impact as possible.
@@slenderman4788 I agree I play Traptrix, Sky, Myutant, Exosisters. All control decks of different strenghts and each with different gameplans and weakness. Traptrix often loses to Evenly, Sky to spell fragrance or shifter, Exosister to lancea and D barrier, Myutant to lancea, impermanence, veiler, droll, evenly, lava golem. And all of them can't win against Flowndereze and Matematch 3 game out of 5. Runick-Naturia is a tough but beatable matchup. Kashtira almost always loses. But one misplay and shit is coming you way and it will snowball.

I once saw someone perform a loop using arcanite magician and tg hyper librarian to draw their entire deck, but they had a card that would go back into the deck when hitting grave to prevent a deck out. They ended their first turn with naturia bamboo shoot (no activating spells/traps), necrovalley (no activate effecta in GY), angel 07 (no activating any monster effects), fog king (cannot tribute cards or monsters), chow sai the ghost stopper (no spell/trap effects in GY), and ojama emperor plus that one continuous spell to lock all of their opponents momster zones. Asuming you go first, you just win onnyour next turn because once it get's set up there is litterally nothing your oppenent can do and the combined attack points of the monsters is exactly 8,000.
That ball was so good tho, hit the Trap negate, the only Code Talker name to turn off Conflict, the unaffected Firewall, and turned off Tri-Gate When reading is fundamental
I once opened with Sphere Mode in hand and my opponent had set Superfactorial, DPE, and an XYZ monster thats an omni-negate. I was like "Oh okay... just gotta bait out the superfactorial." *activate shaddoll fusion* *he activates superfactorial* "SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR TOXIC FIELD BUCKO!" lol
That's the thing with this deck, the first turn is absurd, but if the opponent can break the board there's very little recovery. I think I prefer decks like zombies, the first turn may not be always explosive but if you can't OTK against it you are in trouble.
if you are going strictly for the U-Link in Code Talker then yes, there is no recovery, but I have tried a variant where I prioritize being able to make the entire Codec line twice since it's alright when you pop off and can still OTK through nibiru
I know Eldlich is known because of his floodgates. But I have won a lot of matches just because of Torrential/Needle Ceiling or trap control like Ice Dragon's Prison and Golden Land traps, that's why I love this deck. Torrential and Needle Ceiling are my favorit trap, and so far, the best decks that can use them are Unchained, Labrynth, and Eldlich.
I really wish floodgates were not the optimal way to plays those decks. In labyrinth you often get up to chain link 5 after activating a normal trap so that should be more than enough...

So we're playing Sphere Mode in trap decks because Spright and Ishizu piles leave at least 3 monsters on board. Also, Torrential is insane. Wish more Labrynth players would play that card.
They can, but you kinda want to run the field spell too if you are so you can bring out a Fiend afterwards. You can also run the Furniture stuff depending on your build, as those trigger off traps that make monsters leave the field. Once Lady comes out it becomes a lot less of a problem as you can bounce it, and then it can special summon back later.
Ye, ditched Half of Ash in my deck for Kaijus and Sphere Mode. Spright is really tolerable when you play against their "Dont care about Handtraps" plays because you also run lots of Going 2nd Cards.
@@DarkestX So you run 1 field spell for recursion, but it doesn't matter that much to blow up your board. You have 2 Lovely Lady in deck and 3 Lord of the Heavenly Prison. It's rare to run out of big beaters in this deck. Usually games go fast. Try to Torrential an Exosister board. They usually scoop. Also helps going second and if they're good, you try to summon a monster to force Torrential.

its pretty fucking strong to have that board since i played tons of code talker decks too.. Only RA or droplet iblee to kaiju will out that board unfortunately also why no pot of avarice? because this deck is designed for turn 1 U link Setup, or turn 2 instakill with either mathmech multiplication dumped from circular or update jammer as usual.. at worst its like turn 4 sustain
for the link zone question the only card that points top left and top right that u can summon to is "firewall singularity" which is currently not out in the tcg or masterduel but will be out soon :)
I'd recommend playing g golem crystal heart, you can use it as another extender or for turn 3 to bring back transcode which brings back splash mage which brings back a cyberse
So, I was in a duel versus a Crooked Cook staller today. He literally got tired of passing turns and decided to play after about 30 turns of no play (I had no out to it since it was also immune to battle destruction). He lost immediately. That was fun.
farfa's board was quite nice, but this absolutely cooks tons of combos a bit better than farfa because it prevents you to special summon kaiju UNLESS you droplet to kaiju's

Well, that's why I run Lady of Lament with jar of avarice and paleozoic, just to return my cards to my deck. I won't say it's perfect, but hey, if it works, it works

As someone who's sick of having to duel Link decks with Iblee, this was very fun to watch

This was before Mathmechs were out but I have broken a code talker board once when I played a go 2nd Crooked Cook deck.
Not only have *I* played Sphere Mode on Master Duel I've also faced someone running WDoR in a non-EGC deck just to counter my Sphere Mode
I play Kaiju control and love when I go up against a deck that sets up an elaborate board, lol.
Eh it's maindecked in quite a few decks atm in MD I think. Lab, Lich, and Spright sometimes even.
