When your on camera you can act brave
if you got hurt and bleeding out you shouldn't panic how much the pain is.. if you go panic mode then you might die if you stay stable and neutral even with the pain you can survive

It's not a great nation, it's proven to be among the top 10 most utterly corrupted nation states on planet Earth, you know what that means? On average a Ukrainian cannot be trusted to do what they say they would do or what they are paid to do. That's what corruption does, it turns a place rotten inside out, that's why they're dying by the 100's of 1,000's on the battlefield.

he also flies cargo and extraction missions.. an apache will help only for attacking- which isnt much help since you can just use drones and artillery for that- so you arent blindly flying into air defense just to dump your whole ammo in one position, you are risking very expensive equipment for much little difference- they also have hinds / mi28's which can do the same job

I bet he could bomb some flip-flop farmers with those Blackhawks
Blachawks are faster, can carry less stuff (volume wise) and have nice avionics. That's about the only important combat difference really. There really would be not much point in sending ukraine UH-60s.
In other words: Nyedj, Mil 8 is fine.

Great heroes. They should be provided with UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. My son used to fly those. Support of Ukraine from Fort Cavazos, Texas, U.S.A.

Makes me wonder, we are saying that we are supporting the brave forces of Ukraine, but why are we not training their crews and sending more modern helicopters ?
Prolly ro not aggravate Russia as helicopters and jets could be used to prnetrate deep into Russian territory within very little time. I mean I guess the US is already aggravating and tempting Russia by sending weapons to Ukraine but I suppose they dont want to push their luck. Plus the west prolly wants to gatekeep the technology of their aircraft as much as possible and avoid Russians captuing it
