That bullshit is very deep in gaming. And it could only manifest in game/geek culture because we are the most tolerant already. When that gets overstretched tolerance as a whole decreases. That is the manufactured crisis we can see today. MSM needed Catlyn Whatever to accept Transwhatever, we loved Danielle Bunten Berry 30 years ago. So please project *your* shame of being 30 years late to the tolerance onto someone else. Preferably your bath room mirror.
Chungus Pizza Yeah. What Naughty Dog needs to put in Last of Us 2 is a co-op online mode and missions for taking out zombies and clickers. Something to add from the multiplayer which I liked in the remastered version, just more longevity for the multiplayer.

Man, the attention for details with Chloe & Nadine hairs when they're sweating is pretty amazing. I don't think I ever see that in any game. Sony really found a gold mine with Naughty Dog as their exclusive devs.
Uncharted without Nathan will never be the same...Chloe was one of my favorite characters next to Victor sullivan. But this installment doesent give me that feeling of "oh my god i want to play more" like Drake's story did.

At least naughty do is sensible enough to not charge full price for a game that is a essentially a DLC. Witch is what Destiny 2 should be doing as well, but we all know how thats going to be played out. Great review Karak!

I had no expectations honestly going into this game, thinking it was just a dlc spin off of whatnot, but after playing it, i really want to have more stories about the side characters. Maybe Charlie, or Nate's daughter, or young Sully? lol

Great review man, it has also always astonished me how well Uncharted performs on the PlayStation and how good it looks. The devs behind the engine of the Uncharted games have done a incredible job. Very few games on console look like they are running off a high powered gaming computer. If only other devs could optimized their games better for console and PC.

Got to say its nice seeing a game with solid flow and frame rate too it. Being a PC gamer i kind of miss the console days of my youth where you didnt have to worry about day one patches. Im looking at you agents of mayhem.
Anyone else liked this better than Uncharted 4,.. I love U 4 but this is brilliant,.. also way more lighthearted (honestly chuckled quite a few times, especially near the ending..) This game is a masterpiece of game design.

This game is gonna suffer from Uncharted fatigue sales-wise. We've played four installments, each of which I thoroughly enjoyed, and now we're getting yet another with an open-ish world twist to it for $20 off. I'll still buy it because I know it'll be a quality and enjoyable game, not to mention that I love anything Uncharted (I bought and played Golden Abyss and even the Fight for Fortune card game on Vita). I know that people who were somewhat indifferent to the UC series, however, are probably going to groan and pass despite it being a quality title. Regardless, great review as usual and I'm looking forward to playing it myself.
Agreed, uncharted fatigue might be correct. I think they wanted to milk it as far as possible before moving to TLOU 2. I'm personally waiting for a sale. These popular exclusive games will go for sale quickly enough.

I had more fun with Lost Legacy than Uncharted 4. The shadow puzzle was awesome the last chapter was fucking epic...with a waaay better final boss fight. Sam and Nadine would make a more entertaining couple than Nate and Elena. Didn't miss Nate at all.
Got the Triple Pack (including this expansion pack) for £5 last year. Excellent review, I am looking forward to booting the game up as soon as I complete the grind for the DriveClub Platinum trophy.

Joel and Ellie are the only characters practically, I don't see how they could do a spinoff when there are no other relationships besides Tommy and Marleen but she's dead for one and two she was an unlike able character. They could however make a DLC like the First Last of Us. But who knows, maybe we'll get someone with an amazing backstory from Part II that needs a spinoff, doubt it though since the game is about Joel and Ellie's relationship.

one thing i couldn't stand about uncharted 4 was the ending The "Fencing Part" in particular... It would have been nice if they worked out the mechanics and applied some swordplay features into earlier combat scenes. Instead It felt more like it was a sloppy 5 minute quick time event that made it feel like I had little to no control besides trying to dodge being carved up. They nailed down all other parts of the game pretty damn good when it came to combat and pacing up until that point. So as long as there is less of those types of surprise sequences in where you have little to no control nor experience then this looks like its def worth getting (as we wait patiently for The last of us pt. 2) =)

Will purchase when it's on sale. Love the Uncharted series, but fatigue has definitely set in. UC4, while good, didn't "blow me away". Unlike let's say a Yakuza 0 because I have never played a Yakuza title before. This won't feel fresh and just coming off playing Rise of Tomb Raider, I've had my fill of tomb robbing forest swinging heroic "gunslingering" gameplay. With all that said, I'll probably by this first day lol

Uncharted 4 was my GOTY in 2016, so this is a no-brainer for me. However, really excited for them to move onto a new IP after finishing up Last of Us Part 2. Some kind of sci-fi game would be amazing.

pvp g0d there is nothing special about it :-) plot holes everywhere, casual corridor shooter with shitty shooting mechanics, shitty hitscans where you will be needing tons of patience if you will going for hardest diff., graphics and sounds is the only thing that is astonishing. Which for me matters a lil bit. For me its gameplay that matter which is so repetating and boring.
pvp g0d It's good but it's definitely the most overrated PS exclusive. Games like Yakuza, Bloodborne and Persona are infinitely better games, but yes, Uncharted is good but not essential.
For some strange reason Uncharted the Lost Legacy doesn’t have the same appealing as Uncharted 1,2,3 and 4 had for me.When seeing the gameplay I see more of the same the only difference is that you play with a different character. I see that a lot of games that are sold very well that they made to many follow ups with almost no difference in gameplay.

I will definitely be picking this up for the Pro. The Uncharted series overall is a great series even though Uncharted 4 was beautiful i just didn't care for the story as the others
It keep bugging me, why can't they model climbing gloves or at least fingerless gloves for the main characters on a game like this that involved lot of climbing.
Floodrunner_ 20 it has extra concept art and character models that you can unlock from the main menu. You get to unlock them by getting the pictures and treasures in game. But other then that it is just story and multiplayer yes.
I've been a huge fan of the Uncharted franchise since the original came out in 2007. Each entry in the series has always had great characters, a solid narrative, amazing visuals and voice acting, good level design, fun combat and puzzles and an overall enjoyable experience. Having said that, its definitely nice to play an Uncharted title with different characters other than Nathan Drake. As far as Nadine is concerned, I don't have a problem with her as a character. Although, I will admit something. It would've been nice if Drake gave her an ass whooping in Uncharted 4 because she definitely deserved it. In regards to Uncharted the Lost Legacy I will be picking it up when it comes out on August 22nd. Somehow, Naughty Dog has maintained a high level of quality with its titles whether its Jak & Daxter, Crash Bandicoot, The Last of Us or Uncharted. Their games have always had that certain level of polish and shine and Uncharted the Lost Legacy is no different. The people who work at Naughty Dog are very talented and gifted and it truly is a testament to how great they are. Thanks Karak for another great review. I greatly appreciate it!

I think out of those three, bloodborne is better but persona and yakuza are terrible. But you know, opinions and what not.

For some strange reason Uncharted the Lost Legacy doesn’t have the same appealing as Uncharted 1,2,3 and 4 had for me.When seeing the gameplay I see more of the same the only difference is that you play with a different character. I see that a lot of games that are sold very well that they made to many follow ups with almost no difference in gameplay.
I can't really keep up with games anymore (other than Telltale episodes) but I still really enjoy your content! XD I think I'll pick this one up! Hope you're well, man! Keep it up!

I will definitely be picking this up for the Pro. The Uncharted series overall is a great series even though Uncharted 4 was beautiful i just didn't care for the story as the others
It keep bugging me, why can't they model climbing gloves or at least fingerless gloves for the main characters on a game like this that involved lot of climbing.

Just curious but does this game have extras like outfits and filters you can activate like in A Thief's End or is it just story and multiplayer?
Floodrunner_ 20 it has extra concept art and character models that you can unlock from the main menu. You get to unlock them by getting the pictures and treasures in game. But other then that it is just story and multiplayer yes.

I've been a huge fan of the Uncharted franchise since the original came out in 2007. Each entry in the series has always had great characters, a solid narrative, amazing visuals and voice acting, good level design, fun combat and puzzles and an overall enjoyable experience. Having said that, its definitely nice to play an Uncharted title with different characters other than Nathan Drake. As far as Nadine is concerned, I don't have a problem with her as a character. Although, I will admit something. It would've been nice if Drake gave her an ass whooping in Uncharted 4 because she definitely deserved it. In regards to Uncharted the Lost Legacy I will be picking it up when it comes out on August 22nd. Somehow, Naughty Dog has maintained a high level of quality with its titles whether its Jak & Daxter, Crash Bandicoot, The Last of Us or Uncharted. Their games have always had that certain level of polish and shine and Uncharted the Lost Legacy is no different. The people who work at Naughty Dog are very talented and gifted and it truly is a testament to how great they are. Thanks Karak for another great review. I greatly appreciate it!

Angelus other then telling you what happens to several characters from uncharted 4 no it is it's own standalone story.
