This episode was a shift in the Charmed dynamic. First 3 years Prue took control in a way that left her sisters unable to sorta function without her telling them what to do etc. Piper knowing she's the eldest, steps into Prue's shoes but she doesn't have to. Paige is there eager to find her footing in her new family and thus Piper learns something Prue never did, it's okay to not be the one in charge all the time and allow for help. Piper gets to focus on her family, her work and her witchcraft due to Paige who, is unemployed at this moment, gets to continue her journey into learning her witchcraft and catching up to her sisters skills and knowledge. It's kinda thrown away a bit but it's a great episode for their growth as witches and sisters.
Yeeess. And this is why I enjoy the seasons more when Paige is here because there's a dif dynamic. Not just listening to pru always
They can't look past the fairytale storyline to get to the substance of episode
Actually I think this was one of the most gruesome and savage moments ever, imagine being turned into an imortal tree and being sentient all the time but unable to do anything. But he deserved it, so it was a good karma lmao
More of a fun episode to be honest, but it was nice to see the inclusion of Piper and Paige come to an understanding about sharing responsibilities/ leadership without the other feeling overworked/ overlooked. Great reaction Jay :)
