My teen son came barreling thru the door HUNGRY after 🏀🏀🏀 practice after school and I had this READY. He LOVED it. We all did, but I wasn't sure about my teenager 😳😂 I would never have thought to put the squash in the crock pot. It cooked wonderfully. Then I did the rest as you showed. On a scale 1-10 this gets about a 15 ‼️ Thank you so much Kelly. I'll make this hit again thruout upcoming winter. I appreciate you, and the content you bring. 🙏🏻❤️

A neighbor grows a garden in her entire back yard and she shares her "crops" with the whole neighborhood. I am excited to give this a try 😊 Now I'm searching for your recent video with a chicken pot pie topped with biscuits in the crock pot. Just last night my 80 year old father asked for this when we go over for dinner/movie on Sunday evening. So I'm off to find that recent video. Have a great day 🙏🏻❤️

Kelly! I'm doing the potato soup today and can't wait to try it. My Walmart didn't have the regular diced frozen potatoes so I had to substitute with potatoes Obrien with onions and peppers. I still think it will come out yummy! Thank you for the wonderful ideas!

One suggestion: you might try putting your root veggies: potatoes, carrots, (onions, when recipes call) on the bottom in the crockpot since they often take the longest to cook.
Just as a warning to those who make this, V8 is high in sodium so take that into account if you're on a low sodium diet. There is a low sodium version of V8 available in the stores too. Of course the bacon in that recipe would need to be adjusted also but the V8 is kind of a hidden high sodium item if you're keeping track of that sort of thing.

I think the small potatoes are due to crop failure, I got a bag of regular Russet potatoes and only one of them was regular size. The rest were very small.

I would say around 30 -40 min. The longer u cook the thicker it would get.

I am not sure what is going on with russet potatoes lately! Not only are they smaller, but they don’t last as long when I bring them home!
