..we Catholics do know how to put on a good show, but, really, a crown, thankfully all that NONSENSE has stopped and Pope Francis has returned to the simplicity of the first Bishop. If you are interested there are some good books on the Popes.
This "nonsense" and other Traditions need to return if you want to save souls. The pandemic was a Chastisement by Our Lord for rejecting the Traditions of the Church, such as the Traditional Latin Mass and the True Moral Teachings of Our Lord.
Just compare this with Jesus calling the apostle Peter to care for his flock. No coronation, no splendor, no carrying him around but calling a simple fisherman to be a servant of the people of God knowing well that he would deny Jesus three times. Does anyone really believe that Jesus had these kind of ceremonies for popes in mind when he called Peter? I don't think so.
Neither did Jesus have in mind Christianity splitting into thousands of denominations, some of which are outright heretics and show no genuine devotion to Christ, but rather a way of getting attention and still expecting "an easy way to be saved." Jesus was indeed humble, and the point is to show all of His future followers and faithful to be as humble, too. Peter did not receive such splendors or ceremonies; rather, he was called to be a fisherman of men, bring forth more people into the flock, and come to the knowledge of His Word. When it comes to the Papacy, being successors to St. Peter, the first among equals and head of the flock on Earth, these are merely ways of expressing respect to the Holy See. It's not worship of the man, nor is it appraising him to a position higher than us or equal to God, rather the position itself, the Papacy, as head of the Christian faith, expressing the utmost respect to the office. Whether you are a believer or not, that's how it is, and that's how every Catholic sees the Papacy.

Por todos esos pecados tenemos que arrepentidos .Efesios 2:8,9 dice que somos salvos por gracia mediante la fe. Fe en Jesucristo que murió en la cruz por ti y por mi. Only through Jesus Christ can we enter into heaven and not through the pope who is just a man.
No one said you do it through the pope. He is just keeping them together
And the only way to know the True Jesus is through the Catholic Church.
@Sanctus Paulus 1962 And Pope of the world.
..we Catholics do know how to put on a good show, but, really, a crown, thankfully all that NONSENSE has stopped and Pope Francis has returned to the simplicity of the first Bishop.
Pomp and show. And francis worshipped the pachamama.
One abomination after the next.

@@skingrad You are mixing different topics and you are making questionable claims. But that is too much to answer. I guess it is enough said that Jesus never intended such a "coronation" etc. for a bishop of Rome.
@@brotherandrew3393 I am just saying that all of this abides by tradition and respect. It has nothing to do with “alleviating the man in a higher state,” which many people confuse.
@@skingrad "Tradition" is the great excuse for every strange and questionable development in the Catholic Church. I know. I am also not respecting offices. They are just tools like the donkey Jesus needed. God never intended them to be respected. It is about loving God by loving people. Nothing more is required.

Pope Francis is wrong about everything. All he is doing is leading many people to the wide road instead of the narrow road. To reject the True Traditions of the Catholic Church and teachings is to reject Christ.
