Sucked to see my home team win here🤣🤣🤣...Well you think we won, but all of us eventually have to return home, even if we win....like the Swiss have to go back to their Disneyland country where 500ml beer is 40p, 50grams of backy for £5, the streets are clean, the children well behaved (mostly), the cops helpful, the trains cheap, hot water a communial charge in a building so it's extremely cheap, great clean municipal water, the most organic food, £900 for basic dole to discourage crime, sparrows that land on your hand (see thumbnail!) and the comfort of knowing that as long as you remain cool they'll let you live without any bother or try to scam you in some way. I had no I.D. and was homeless there for 18 years...lol....It was great!
The best thing for me about the England win is that I've always wanted to be in a country on the night they won an international tournament..but riddle me this if we win the whole thing, will celebrating with the George Cross be tolerated in London by the constabulary for just one night before being relagated back to being a symbol of far right political belief as in the past?
But in all that said, Good Luck England, a final vs France in Germany would be unlike any other match since 1966 and probably in spite of all the technical nuances seperating those two teams the occasion I feel would void a lot of that... and we might, just might get a great game of football remembered throughtout the ages...instead of those plastic 'historical moments' those shrill minded commentators deem to be.
