It's so right! Consistancy, where is he on my priorities and growing a FRIENDSHIP first is key to my heart. Usually I would ask to spend more time with him iutside of my schedule and decide if I see us together by the first & second encounter.
Once I start crushing I start dressing up better with dresses or a little make up and then test him // dipping my toes in the water before I go cannon balling // I get to see how he reacts to me talking about other guys. From this, depending on his jealous reaction I'd tell him right there that I'm digging him, or brush it off and move on if he's not feeling me.
