Something I would add is that we like to pretend to be detectives. Only because most of the time we are right about our intuition. SO be transparent with us even if it might hurt our feelings. We are also masters of justification and if you can get us to admit that we're wrong when we're wrong, you might have a chance.
I also want to comment on you called scorpios “emotional wrecks” I have to disagree, yes they are emotional and sensitive that is how they navigate life. But they keep their emotions in check on the outside as they do not like to reveal their true self quickly or easily bc they are private. I have four planets in the 8th house so I relate a lot to and understand Scorpio.

I'm a male Scorpio and would like to add something to those dating a Scorpio that may help you in dealing with them on a relationship level. I'm sure there are times when your Scorpio partner seems to shut themselves off from the World. They want to be left alone, they lock themselves away, they turn off their cell phones, won't reply to text messages and things of that nature. This may be for a day, weekend or longer. This might not make any sense to you. What you need to realize is this is the time when we regenerate. If interested please continue reading and I'll explain in my opinion on why that is.
Scorpio's are very intuitive and we can read people, especially their emotions very easily. Almost with just a glance and we already know what you're feeling. Apart from that, in conversing with people we seem to be able to draw things out of people. Able to put them at ease so they want to tell their problems, intimate details of their lives. We put ourselves in your shoes and feel the emotions your feeling, I mean really feel, on the subject we're discussing. Whether a Scorpio knows this or not, it's very draining.
So on those days when you don't understand what's wrong, why they just want to be left alone. Just give them their space, their time to think, their alone time. Scorpio's need their alone time. Please, please, please don't keep pestering them on what's wrong, they don't have an answer for you and will probably bite your head off.

As a scorpion, I must say this is one of the most accurate reads of me. Lately, I've been disappearing because the energy associated with other people is too much. I've been dating a Scorpio for a few months now but we were friends for years before hand. They really are really good people, it just takes some really long time to open up to a person. They love really hard and you have to show them but they can trust you. Once they realize that they can trust you they will give you everything you ever wanted. My boyfriend pays a lot of attention to me even when I don't think he is, and what you say is correct... He likes a lot of alone time with me. But I think it's important to note that Scorpios needs somebody that is very patient and understanding of their emotions. I don't know if this is true for all Scorpios but my Scorpio likes when I give him his alone time when we're together. For instance the comfortable silence. We like to be around each other but we don't always like to be talking or doing the same thing, but that might just be a sign of a healthy relationship? I support his hobbies and he supports mine, so if he wants to play video games I don't sit there and complain at him about it. So he has expressed that he would stop playing video games if it made me upset.
My experience with Scorpios is that they are very loving and protective of their close ones. And all Scorpios I’ve met are super smart. I think their passion in all things they do is what makes them highly intellectual. My BF is a Scorpio and it’s true, I never have doubt that he loves me because I feel it all the time. I am a scorpio ( November 11) and what you said about at the end is definitely me and i am so loyal it is crazy. Communication is not my down fall. I do know how to open up but it is hard for people to accept how i feel. I'm an Aquarius and communication is really important to me. The only downside about Scorpios is that they don't communicate when you upset them which can often lead them to be passive-aggressive or straight-up ignore you. I personally don't like that, like if something is bothering TELL ME because you have no right to be upset if you're not addressing the underlying issue. That's just my take on it.

I've been dating a Scorpio myself, as a Virgo and it's been pretty solid since i've met him. Everything you've mentioned is accurate. Definitely the MOST loyal, affectionate, down to earth and loving sign I've been with. I can sense the same level of consistency and love, but since their more of an intense, emotional sign than Virgo/Earth Signs, it's definitely enhanced with them since their pure water. I strongly believe, based on what he's also told me a few times that they will be loyal for life, and always give you the same efforts back as long as it's reciprocated. They're the definition of home-bodies for sure as well. I sometimes get my boyfriend to enjoy a day out, but we equal it out by making breaking and dinner at home with a few redbox movies. I haven't seen their flaws yet, but i can predict that they are very private and secretive when it comes to it. So far, it's been more than what i've expected in a relationship. They're known to be one of the worst signs, but I think with any water sign, they can be extreme on either level. That's what makes them either the best or worst sign depending on which one you're most compatible with.

I’m a Scorpio and I’ve dated enough Aquarian’s(your sign) to understand how Scorpios and Aquarian’s connect/disconnect.
I also have my Saturn in Aquarius and My draconic chart is Aquarius sun as well.
So keep in mind that:
Scorpio is ruled by mars then Pluto, has Uranus exalted, and struggle with Venus and especially the moon.. but Scorpios deal well with Saturnian energy overtime(planetary joy)
Aquarius is ruled by Saturn then Uranus, Excels with mercury, and struggles with the sun, and deals well with Venus energy over time,
Plutonian energy is hit or miss in Aquarius because Aquarian’s can be very cold and aloof at times but overall prefer to be well connected to one or more social circles.
Scorpios will fluctuate from utilizing mars energy(passion and aggression) to Plutonian energy(dark mysticism and social isolation)
Now understand that Aquarians and Scorpios square each other so this creates a natural attraction but overall friction in long term compatibility. Overall Aquarius and Scorpio relationships require more work but can serve as profound learning/growing experiences through thick and thin.
So Aquarian’s are water bearers who typically get along with all of the water signs.
