- Stevie Wonder ("I Don't Know Why" and, with Diana Ross, "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" and "For Once In My Life), Hollywood Palace, Mar 8, 1969. I don't own the copyright for this video, but you can find the full Hollywood Palace episode on its own channel...
I remember the first time I heard Stevie Wonder perform. He was 13 and I was 16. I remember exactly where I was, sitting in my dad’s car, and I heard this magical boy sing Fingertips, something that I had never heard before. Clap your hands just a little bit louder. I had no idea how for this boy would go, but I knew he was special.
I Don't know why the song wasn't a big hit like most of his sixties hits but it's one of my favorites
the michael jackson (5) cover of this is heartbreakingly good.

Stevie’s version is better😊
The talent of Stevie Wonder is immense and legendary... Stevie can write his music - both lyrics and notes - sing beautifully and perform on stage live in front of tens of thousands of people at atime, and play various instruments - harmonica, piano, drums, synthesier, etc. There are few as talented as this incredible human being - you would need to look at Paul McCartney and a few other stars who also have immense talent. Yes, Diana Ross is amazing too and can sing and perform, but Stevie is unique... hard to believe that he is blind... imagine what he could achieve if he was sighted? probably wouldn't be the man he is. Go Stevie....!
Big facts
Every time I see or hear Stevie perform one of his classic hits, it makes me a little weepy-eyed knowing what he has overcome in his life. Yet another living testimony as to how powerful, mighty, gracious and GOOD God truly is.
Diana and Stevie together! Motown legends!
Stevie Wonders unique voice and talents! What a wonder. No wonder we love him so much. Thanks for sharing blessings
MOTOWN MUSICAL GENIUS. LOVE YOU STEVIE. TWO LEGENDS TOGETHER. DIANA ROSS AND STEVIE WONDER. BLESS THEM.
Michael Jackson did an equally impressive cover of this tune on The Jackson Five's first album which debuted this same year. Motown's two child stars made legendary noise!!!
This song was NOT on The Jackson 5 1st album.

Right. I was thinking of one other tune on this album, "Who's Lovin' You" (actually a Smokey tune) It's actually "Don't Know Why I Love You" from the "A-B-C" album. God, I am officially old as I knew all of this when I was young! Good to revisit your youth in some way or another!!!!
💐DIANA ROSS AND STEVIE WONDER, THE MOTOWN SOUND
Stevie, the prophet of soul!! what a discography, what a talent...thanx MOTOWN, and STAX too!!
She even sounds like she’s singing when she speaks, what a sweet voice this woman has🎤👼🏽💛

You see that walk Diana had and I like how she looks at stevie that sexy look
Yea, I know Stevie Wonder 'saw' Diana Ross looking at him in a sexy way.
But overall this is pure classic right there both of them just pure class even the audience had class too.
Beautiful music
I have the biggest smile on my face
At this time, Stevie was about 19 and Ms Ross the Boss was about 25ish....these two future legends carried the responsibility of representing Motown's flawless upper tier with such class and perfection. In retrospect, it's hard to fathom what that must've felt like...but we're better for having their art to continue to enjoy for eternity.
Priceless memories.
I love you Stevie Wonder❤❤❤
so cool
If that was 1964 and he was 19, he put out fingertips in 57 and went platinum. Good God.
Samad Stevens you're joking right?
Stevie Wonder songs in the key of life
This was 1969.
Wrong all the way.
Fingertips was 1963...the album was The 12 year old genius...
Não lembrava dessa música e olha que conheço praticamente tudo de Wonder.

Diana Ross=The Best !
At what?🤔 Tammi terrell and Mary Wells were far better Vocalists. 😊
Bobby d...
@@stud105 Diana Ross was Tammy’s greatest influence. Actually it was Diana Ross and Ella Fitzgerald. You can hear both influences when she sings.
