- I got my hands on the third last ever NYC taxi Ford Crown Victoria and wanted to document this experience for everyone to see! This is 2H85, sister car to 2W34, owned by the same people and operated pretty much 24/7 via many different drivers. This car was battered and misfiring, and I go over everything I noticed wrong with the car!
Definitely in good shape when you see Bronx Ford sticker still original many years later
hard to find those intact
December '23 I bought a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis in Florida with 38,000 miles for $5K. Best value on the planet. Grab these low mileage GM panther cars while you can! Easily the best used car in existence right now.
Definitely enjoy the videos! Keep saving those taxi's!
If Hurricane sandy didn't destroy the 60 or so crown vics that nyc had stored we would probably still see them around
Another one of my favorite cars saved. Thank you 💛
Super cool man. I got a 2010 police interceptor myself. Had it over three years now and had to put a bit of money into it. But I love these cars and love videos like this!
Getting a P71 from a guy, 67k miles for 3k. Midnight Black and former 115th Pcnt car. Runs quiet and smooth. Can't wait to get it.
Taxi package only have a single exhaust?
It looks great, hope you have/had fun with it!
thank you it’s always fun! despite the setbacks
Toward the end I was waiting for someone to scream "WHATS IT GOT, STUNTMAAAAAN" lol
Thanks for making another great Crown Victoria video!
no cruise control is kinda strange for a car aimed at driving around in all day.
also does the drivers seat adjust at all without the partition in the way?
yeah if you already have a tlc vehicle license or medallion, you don't need to get a wav.. its only for new licenses and medalions
some taxis they did force a WAV via a lottery system
Cool! Just saw 1F88 today.
Never knew about rear door handle only appearing in long wheel base model
J&I maintenance Garage Bergen street in Brooklyn . Drove from 1986 to 1994 great cab .
Hi. I have a Taxi from NYC with the number 1H85 and it landed in Europe, more precisely in Poland :) Regards
Crown Jewel 💎💎💎
Is it over? No more Vic's on duty in NY?
Sounds like a good idling vehicle
It would look cool with the bumper guards...
Restore it to New ❤❤❤❤❤
I enjoy your video as well!😊
Headlights are so super easy to replace.
yup 2 minute job
Amazing car. I wanna get a NYC taxi personally.
what did it cost to buy?
I wonder why the police CV didn't get those vinyl front seats?
they needed stab proof seats
@@carsofqueens I would've guessed they could put the stab plates in the vinyl seats too. I'd rather have vinyl seats because they are easier to clean. I have some spilled coffee stains on my cloth seats. They would just suck in hot weather though to sit on.
@@theoneandonly6431- I took my P71 seat covers off and washed them in my shower. You should have seen all of the coffee remnants wash out! 🤣 let them dry overnight and they look respectable and smell 100x better
@@RustyZipper Mine have some coffee stains too. That's why vinyl is better for cop cars.
Love the car and video
