Nice suggestions. Always feel a little left out on "winter" fragrance discussions. Los Angeles winter bottoms out in low 50s usually. But I will dust off Chanel Allure Sport Eau Extreme for a ride this week.
Unbelievable when you mentioned Uomo? because when you were talking about the ADG, that fragrance suddenly popped into my mind. Love how it reminds me of Haribo's cola candies from the 90s, but like you mentioned, that sweetness really does help to carry it through the cold. Interesting that Parfumo has amberwood listed in the base since I'm pretty sure that the Symrise molecule was patented in 2004. Perhaps they mean Trisamber or Ambrox? Anyway, it could also explain why the base carries. Ps, how do you feel about Agua Brava as an alternative to Aqua di Selva?
I noticed im a contrarian - I cant stand to wear heavy ambers in the winter for some reason (Grand Soir and Musc Ravageur). I do enjoy dry woods like Oud Wood and Santal 33, and even freshies.
CAHSEE is perfect for winter. The orange and creamy tonka do wonders.
I think so too!

Absolutely do it!

I haven't yet gotten to try Agua Brava!

Dry woody things can be nice. I like Arden for Men Sandalwood in cold
