The lore is that while SuMetal is backstage taking a break and not supervising Yui & Moa, an Oni (demon) possesses them or corrupts them in some way, and they become "Black Babymetal". The BB songs are in general some of the heavier songs, and lyrically they are quite different and not quite the wholesome positive message you typically get from Su. But, everything ends happily as SuMetal returns them to normal by banishing the demon using her Metal Goddess powers, and everything is back to normal. Well, until she's crucified again!
I think this is their best peformance I've seen. The band are insanely tight! ...It makes me well-up too. it's just beautiful and triggers some kind of sensory overload 🙃 (and no, not a pervy thing, appreciation of the art, the music, the voices, the guitar-work!, the timing and key-changes..the sheer unity of the crowd and that connection with people 6,000miles away that aren't that different to us.. and how cute when they say "see you" at the end. It's all perfect!). i know it's _manufactured_ but i think of it more as orchestrated. Jeff wayne's war of the world's has the same effect on me. Also nice Ibanez, i just got a Jem 77P last week which I love!
The thing even cuter is when they tour, especially smaller venues over the years . Is the response of obvious male voices shouting " See you "back to them as they leave the stage 🤣❤❤❤😁🤘🏼🦊

You can find that clip in the official channel but just be careful coz sometimes is getting blocked issues. Thanks for sharing this and as always don't forget to put your kitsune up!🦊🤘🔥
_Baka yarooo!_ 🦊🤘🔥 The binge won't stop lol Black Babymetal are on fire with Sis Anger and making it very clear with the message that we better not mess up with them. I mean they even started this song with a quote from the book of Revelations, is that blasphemy? Idk i just know I don't want to mess up with the girls with this level of anger, they can broke my heart into pieces 💔 They're kinda talking rude while still being kawaii and playing behind one of the heaviest BM songs, until Babymetal Death Shin Version came out. Shout-out to MikikoMetal, she's the choreographer behind this group and she's behind another famous J-pop group called Perfume, and several other projects including the disbanded Sakura Gakuin group where all of them come from. This is a live compilation with footage from live at Tokyo Dome 2016 and Five Fox Festival 2017. Remember that you can get original clips, such this song, at Babymetal Reactor Resource, so you won't need this type of live compilations, is unfortunate you got this suggestions when it isn't needed. Anyway keep enjoying BM songs. See you next time 🦊🤘🔥
In case it hasn't been said, rewatch the RoR video again, but this time, understand that this was only the 3rd time they had performed this song live and the first two times had a total of 8,000 fans combined. This show, at the the Satima Super Arena (Capacity 36,500) was sold out, and they nailed it. All in spite of being 17 and 15 at the time and in spite of this being the SIXTEENTH song that they played in a set that went well over 90 minutes (and Hideki is still nailing those blast beats with the rapid double bass!) Think about that, when the crowd sings along, only 8,000 had seen this song performed before this show. The Album RoR was released on was not going to be out until over a year later.
Another excellent double reaction 😁 ROR live in Japan is my favourite performances of it . Most of us sat wherever watching your reaction although we have seen countless times have got all emotional as well again 😭🤣 Sis Anger showing how great Yui and Moa are ❤❤❤ 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I was at Tokyo Dome 2016 both nights. Had the best time ever! 55,000 sold out both nights with each having a completely different playlist. Only live performance of Tails of the Destinies… Does it get any better? Nope! 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻❤️❤️❤️
Tokyo Red Night version of this song must of been awesome with the Kami band going out on 3 the coffin stage runways and Mikio (RIP) was playing the chant with his harmonics with crowd. Would be cool if more people reacted to that version.
Tokyo Dome stage was 5 stories tall with performance platforms on the top as well as the bottom, with an elevator. At times in the blueray,. you can see the elevator running up and down.... with the bottom stage having two round rotating platforms. The platform the girls are on rotates as does the platform the Kamis are performing on.
I love all of the black babymetal songs. They have not done any new ones since Yui Metal stopped performing a few years ago. But with Momo metal now part of the group, hopefully her and Moa metal will have new black babymetal songs in the future.
Great double reaction, great song choices. 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow. As you were told Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song (it is the only one they were involved in) and recorded the guitars for the album version. They have said they made this more technical and faster than most of their own songs thinking they would never have to play it live ... and that they had to practice hard when they did perform it with BABYMETAL at an awards show in London later in 2015. This was the Kami Band playing live of course. In this concert the Kami band were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars (Takayoshi has the glitter pink guitar) with BOH on his 6 string bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums. Sis Anger - Black BABYMETAL doing black metal ... the contrast between the brutal instrumentals and their sweet vocals is everything. In this song they are berating lazy boys (maybe a lazy brother?). Don't piss off Yui and Moa - they will knock you back into shape. Apparently some of the language used was quite strong (most translations water it down, a couple of translations went too far the other way). I think it is probably safe to say they used a couple of phrases you might not expect to hear from a couple of very polite and sweet young ladies. Apparently when they first read the lyrics Yui and Moa couldn't stop giggling.
Definitely about punk ass boyfriends. The translations I see are always too polite. Like Megutsune "なめたらいかんぜよ" gets translated to "don't underestimate maidens" which I find a bit weird since it's from a film. It should be "don't fuck with me" or "don't mess with me".
Road of Resistance live in Japan (which you just watched), Arkadia live from Metal Galaxy tour, and Tales of the Destinies live at Tokyo Dome are my top 3 Kami band performances where I thought "wow, these guys are crazy good". Of course, Babymetal is great in those too.
When you said it's happening again I completely knew what you meant. I listen to a lot of music mostly metal but I'll listen to anything. I spend a lot of time listening to hardcore beatdown posthardcore and a lot of metalcore death core thrash and power metal but only 1 band/group in any harder style of music has the ability to cause tears to fill my eyes and give me goosebumps every time and it's babymetal especially their live performances.
hey dude, great to watch your journey through this incredible bands history, I saw them live at Wembley earlier this year supporting Sabaton, and I've got a ticket for the show at the roundhouse in November, iconic venue for an iconic band, you simply must see them live,🦊🦊🤟
Great choices - epic and then heavyAF. And that teaser at the end...IDZ! Hopefully at Sonisphere 2014! Now that's a class performance on many levels. Su said in an interview that that performance was her favourite from her career up to then (2021) as when they finished IDZ they knew they'd been accepted by the Metal fandom outside of Japan. They sold more merch that weekend than any other act and were filling Wembley UK within a year. 🦊🤘🤘🦊
i know that IDZ at Sonisphere was important for bm, but there are many better performances of this (BEST!) song. Like Tokyo Dome Black Night. But everybody as his own taste :)
It was Legend Z. Don't blame me. I didn't choose it. :) I wish more people had been in chat. It made it seem like I was talking a lot. Sorry. I didn't expect the chat to be clipped like that either. I feel embarrassed. I just happened to be awake on my day off.
Very much enjoying your content, and how quickly you came to understand and appreciate the genius behind this band, and the execution of the "whole package"! Look forward to new uploads!
One of the best live performances that Baby Metal put to video, really makes me wish I was there. Baby Metal is a great production, very talented and hard working group. There are two bands from Japan that have made my playlist so far- Band-Maid and Baby Metal.....as an old school Metal Head with somewhat narrow tastes, they are legit Metal. Great one to react with 🤘🦊🤘
These small japanese girls and the producers, kami bands and everyone in between have made something really special and I don't think anything will ever come close in that regard
Don't worry, I tear up watching that Live Road of Resistance too. I'm so glad I got to seem them live during the Babyklok tour. They are too fucking cool
Road of Resistance: Live In Japan 🇯🇵 @"Saitama Super Arena (SSA):- "Road of Resistance" is a song by the Japanese Kawaii metal band Babymetal. The song was released worldwide as a digital single on February 1, 2015 by Toy's Factory, serving as the lead single off the international re-release of the album Babymetal, as well the opening track from Metal Resistance. Su-Metal was 10 when she performed with Karen Girls at the SSA (SAITAMA SUPER ARENA). The Arena that night holds about 20000 Babymetal fans but when you see the centrepiece Island and the two curve bridge, it can hold up to 30000 or even up to 40000 depends on the configuration of Babymetal concert for each tour they performed. This song is co-written by Dragonforce with Herman Li and Sam Totman plays the guitar 🎸 solos, but Kami Band live show is brutal and tight. This is a classic Power Metal genre or speed metal as some might refer to. Bands like Dragonforce, Helloween and even Sabaton do power metal genre. Arkadia from Metal Galaxy Album is the successor to Road Of Resistance. At 17 Su-Metal alongside Yuimetal and Moametal who is 15 at that time, gave a perfect 👌 performance on how live show should be. This performance alone cemented my love ❤️ and appreciation for Babymetal. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🤘🤘😍💕🌸🇯🇵🇸🇬#notacult. . Babymetal singles chronology:- •"Megitsune" (2013). •"Road of Resistance" (2015). •"Gimme Chocolate!!" (2015). Background and release:- "Road of Resistance" includes guest appearances by DragonForce guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman. The song would be used to mark the beginning of the band's lore, Metal Resistance Episode III, at the concert held on November 8, 2014 at O2 Brixton Academy in London, which was also the final tour date for the band's Babymetal World Tour 2014. A trailer for the song was released on January 5, 2015, integrating footage from the debut performance of the song in London. The song was first released as a digital bonus track off the live album Live at Budokan: Red Night, with limited editions of the album containing a download card with a code to download the song at no additional charge. The song was later released as a dedicated digital single on the iTunes Store on February 1, 2015. Li and Totman are featured on guitars, although they are listed as featured artists in various regions of the re-release of the album Babymetal, on which the song appears as a bonus track, mainly in the United Kingdom. Composition:- Rolling Stone described the song as "power metal" with "shiny pop harmonies". Rock Sound called the song "everything we’d expect from [Babymetal] with a bit of Dragonforce’s exhilarating, flame-fingered guitar added in for good measure." Matt Evans of The List called the song an "empowering hyperspeed anthem". According to Kadokawa, the song consists of twin shred guitars courtesy of Li and Totman, with a dynamic sound derived of melodic speed metal. The lyrics are described as a narrative on the Metal Resistance, which the band adopted on their world tour. It has also been considered the "final stage" of Babymetal and the prologue to Metal Resistance, and a transition performance that demonstrates the band's growth from the previous album. According to Su-metal, the song refers to the Metal Resistance lore, described as "the story of Babymetal traveling across the world in the hopes of creating a new metal to unify the world as we break through the barriers of language and borders. In the middle of the song there is a part where we go, ‘Wow, Wow’ and this is where our fans from around the world can sing with us at our concerts. I hope people will listen to our album and support us at our shows." Yuimetal stated in an interview with Metal Hammer that "Road of Resistance" is her favorite song from Metal Resistance, explaining that it "has been performed at so many concerts, so a lot of memories are jam-packed. The lyrics are positive, the sound is so cool, and [the] dance is so powerful." •Recorded by Watametal and Adrian Breakspear. •Mixed by Ettore Rigotti Personnel:- •Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) - Main vocals. •Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal) - Backing vocals. •Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) - Backing vocals. •Kei Kobayashi (Kobametal / Kxbxmetal / Kitsune of Metal God) - executive producer, lyrics. •Miki Watanabe (Mk-metal) - lyrics. •Norikazu Nakayama (Norimetal) - music. •Nobuaki Miyasaka (Mish-Mosh) - music, arrangement. •Sari Miyasaka (Mish-Mosh) - music, arrangement. •Keiji Kusama (Kyt-metal) - music. •Kyoto - arrangement. •Leda - bass (Kami Band) •Herman Li - guitar (courtesy of Electric Generation Recordings Ltd. and Warner Music Japan Inc.) •Sam Totman - guitar (courtesy of Electric Generation Recordings Ltd. and Warner Music Japan Inc.) Saitama Super Arena:- "Saitama Super Arena (さいたまスーパーアリーナ, Saitama Sūpā Arīna) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It opened preliminarily on May 5, 2000, and then officially opened on September 1 of the same year. Its spectator capacity is 36,500 at maximum settings,[3] making it the second-largest indoor arena in the world. The main arena capacity is between 19,000 and 22,500". •Owner: Saitama Arena Corp. •Capacity: 36,500 (stadium setting) 18,000 (arena setting). The arena was designed by Dan Meis, who at the time was working for architecture firm Ellerbe Becket, together with Nikken Sekkei. Meis's design was selected as a result of an international design competition. The arena features a gigantic movable section of seating which can reduce capacity for smaller events and create a more intimate setting. It is a favorite venue for puroresu (Japanese professional wrestling) and mixed martial arts (MMA). It has also hosted other sports events such as boxing, basketball, volleyball, tennis, ice hockey, and gymnastics. It is the only Japanese arena equipped especially for American football. It formerly housed the John Lennon Museum, which displayed John Lennon memorabilia and closed in 2010. Sis. Anger:- This is 1 of 4 BLACK BABYMETAL (MOA & YUI) MoiMoi songs. The other 3 are:- 1. Onedari Daisakusen. 2. GJ. 3. Song 4 or 4 No Uta. Sis. Anger is a song from BABYMETAL's second original album, METAL RESISTANCE, by Black BABYMETAL (Mizuno Yui & Kikuchi Moa) MoiMoi. This is arguably the most heavy and brutal discography Babymetal song ever produced. "BlackBabymetal" have the most heavy discography metal genre. Black metal & Grindcore combined. You get pummeled out of your life when hearing this song. The contrasts between the vocals and heavy metal music 🎶just works. Heavy & Brutal but Kawaii 😁. YUI FANS here ❤❤❤..!! Yesss... you are clicked on the very right video to react to. The original babymetal (Yui's era) was a pure gold in the entire metal music universe. And dude your reaction to this performance is miraculously the same as i was first time watching this specific performance back in around 10 or 12 years ago i cant remember precisely, i was cant hold my tears because of the epicness and the proud i don't even know why i feel really proud when watching some of the original babymetal performances and footage videos. Iam a metalhead myself for almost my entire life since i was barely 10 years old and now iam 35, my typical metal music to listen to is the brutal to ultra brutal metal like brutal death/grind for example but i love really really love Yui's era of babymetal. Thank you for remind me to that feeling ❤
Nice reactions. Great two song picks. Babymetal just did another surprise today. A collaboration this time. It's from left field for sure. A song with Lil Uzi Vert. I had to listen to it a few times. But for some reason the louder I listen to it the better it got. Mostly it feels like Babymetal had waaayyyyy to much sweets. But you'll see what I mean. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.
iirc, in their biggest live show, Tokyo Dome, it was rumoured that after the entire set, Hideki couldn't move his legs that he had to be carried off the stage by staff. If that was true, it's a testament to his amazing ability on the kicks.
Nobody will ever see this, but what people were talking about in the chat where they said kami means god and also means hair, they're spelled differently. God is 神 and hair is 髪. 神ばんど are the gods of music.
In Sis Anger they say literally "We hate you, we hate you all!" to the audience. And the audience just loves it. Yui is doing the sign when she moves a pointing finger over the audience. I do not remember the Japanese name for it, but that sign really tells what she thinks about them. Black Babymetal has such a good humor. I also love their GJ.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。[ RoR] In your video, Su shouted some words at 07:06 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then or she does it smilingly with her friendly voice now. [Sis Anger] In a book authored by Kobametal, he says Sis Anger may be the fastest song (fastest BPM) that has been ever performed at Tokyo Dome. Probably faster than any song Metallica played at the venue (in 1991). The sub-unit in BABYMETAL by Yui & Moa, the two evil girls 😄, called "BLACK BABYMETAL". The words used in this lyrics are harsh, provocative and brutal especially for girls. But the combination of such overstated aggressiveness and their facial expression (overly serious and a little smile) indicates they are trying to encourage boys and inflame their guts. That is why the guys at the venue chant to the girls' moves smilingly and happily. I love their girly and benign sideward kicks not intending to hurt anyone. And the scene at 13:24 in your video where Yui & Moa spread their arms and shrug cutely their shoulders saying "what shall I do ? (to guys begging them for forgiveness)" is lovely.
Drummer Hideki Aoyama is the son of a known drummer in Japan, Jun Aoyama, who passed away in 2013. He also lost his younger brother drummer Aoyama Yuk. Quote from Hideki Aoyama: I will be inheriting the will of Yuki and my father, who were both drummers and showed love for their work.
Allow me to apologize to you and your viewers: at the time of creating this list, this version of "Sis Anger" was the only one I could find at the time. I apologize because I am one who totally despises compilation videos. Compilation videos are, in my opinion, an insult to both the viewer and the band; the music is certainly overdubbed, and the changes in venue and costumes (sometimes even personnel) can be confusing if not completely annoying. You are not reacting to BABYMETAL, you are reacting to a highlight reel of BABYMETAL. Having said that (and still believing it), this compilation video was very well done and I think it could be called the exception to the rule. In the meantime, I'll look around to see if I can find a real concert clip of this song. One other thing (I noticed it at the end of Sis Anger): there's a link there for an anime version of "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" ( ua-cam.com/video/tjDiH5XYrv4/v-deo.html ). I would highly recommend it, however it is rather graphic so consider yourself warned. KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘
Andy R's channel has pristine 4K amazing audio versions of pretty much every live song BM has ever done, when I wanna blast them through my stereo I use his..
I think compilations are fine. I'm pretty sure the audio is almost always 1 show and the video is just cut to avoid copyright. You're hearing a live show. It would be more work to slice up the audio than just use 1 show the entire time.
@@Jordan-Ramses Yes, I mentioned that the music was dubbed, and you're right: these pirates are chopping up BM videos so lazy reacters can avoid copyright blocks. If all you're interested in is listening to the music, I suggest you get a radio.
@@Jordan-Ramses And you seem to want to defend half-assed quality when the real deal is out there. Perhaps you are one of those chop-shop pirates yourself?
OK your finally making some decent BM choices, the first few vids where a strange starting point... The Megitsune official vid is something to watch on your own time, you HAVE to do it live , the Budakon Black Knight show, thank me later...
It still amazes me that the girls and Kami Band had that much energy at the end of that 90 minute show. 80 minutes of that same energy and then to go out like that is crazy. How was Hideki not taken out on a stretcher is beyond me. This entire concert was amazing. I wasn't there but I sure as hell bought the Blu Ray. Sis Anger is good but I still prefer the other 3 Black BABYMETAL songs over it. 🤘🦊🤘
Imagine for one show: The Kami Band is made up of Fami or Miho, Midori, Miyako, and Haruna, all from LoveBites. I believe Haruna or Juuna would be Hideki's equal, with Haruna slightly ahead of Hideki.
any self-respecting reactor should cry at least once for BabyMetal. Their purity and excellence make us all feel such joy, we must cry tears of happiness. We have no choice.
If time travel ever becomes a reality, first thing I'm doing is going to the Tokyo Dome shows. WITH....OUT...A...DOUBT
It'd go back further and stay long enough to see all the big events/shows 🙂
I would go back and have a mind wipe and discover it all over again 😂😁🤘🏼🦊

That's just CRAZY! You would have thought that the audience would have seen this many times.
Another excellent double reaction 😁 ROR live in Japan is my favourite performances of it . Most of us sat wherever watching your reaction although we have seen countless times have got all emotional as well again 😭🤣
Sis Anger showing how great Yui and Moa are ❤❤❤
😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I was at Tokyo Dome 2016 both nights. Had the best time ever! 55,000 sold out both nights with each having a completely different playlist. Only live performance of Tails of the Destinies… Does it get any better? Nope!
🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻❤️❤️❤️
Tokyo Red Night version of this song must of been awesome with the Kami band going out on 3 the coffin stage runways and Mikio (RIP) was playing the chant with his harmonics with crowd. Would be cool if more people reacted to that version.
@@radioraffa Seriously… it was EPIC on every level! 🤟🏻
We love babymetal! My 2 year old is a big fan!!! Road to Resistance and Karate are his two favorites.
Great reaction. Babymetal live is where they shine. I think of Babymetal before Yui retired as Classic Babymetal.
That’s insane
And Sam Totman...why does everyone forget about Sam and only credit Herman?? LoL!!
Put your Kitsune UP!! Po!
Sorry. I couldn't remember his name. :) Herman Li stands out more. I've seen his UA-cam videos.
Saitama SuperArena...sold out...22,000 fans! "Stand up and shout! Justice forever!"
Damn, spaceboy2 and minstrelblood are creepy fudgers.
Good reaction anyway, thx for sharing.
You are like the other reactor David Heretic reacting to this BABYMETAL show and his eyes was full of tears....🤘🤘🤘

I love all of the black babymetal songs. They have not done any new ones since Yui Metal stopped performing a few years ago. But with Momo metal now part of the group, hopefully her and Moa metal will have new black babymetal songs in the future.
good selection 🤘🤘🤘
RIP - Mikio. Bye, bye - YUI.
@@Busterle I agree Tokyo Dome much more epic than Sonisphere..
It was Legend Z. Don't blame me. I didn't choose it. :) I wish more people had been in chat. It made it seem like I was talking a lot. Sorry. I didn't expect the chat to be clipped like that either. I feel embarrassed. I just happened to be awake on my day off.
@@Jordan-Ramses no your Good, Legend Z was a Great performance. It's always fun seeing the Trio destroying at such a young age with confidence 👌
@@stangcobra592 thanks. Yeah I love the Legend Z video personality but I would have recommended Sonisphere just because that is standard.
Great one to react with 🤘🦊🤘
These small japanese girls and the producers, kami bands and everyone in between have made something really special and I don't think anything will ever come close in that regard
you are the same as i feel. this song is heavy but i get emotional when listening to this song. this is my second favorite song. Hehe.❤❤❤

Road of Resistance: Live In Japan 🇯🇵 @"Saitama Super Arena (SSA):-
"Road of Resistance" is a song by the Japanese Kawaii metal band Babymetal. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🤘🤘😍💕🌸🇯🇵🇸🇬#notacult. .
Babymetal singles chronology:-
•"Megitsune" (2013).
•"Road of Resistance" (2015).
•"Gimme Chocolate!!" (2015).
Background and release:-
"Road of Resistance" includes guest appearances by DragonForce guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman.
Composition:-
Rolling Stone described the song as "power metal" with "shiny pop harmonies".
The lyrics are positive, the sound is so cool, and [the] dance is so powerful."

"Saitama Super Arena (さいたまスーパーアリーナ, Saitama Sūpā Arīna) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Sis. Anger:-
This is 1 of 4 BLACK BABYMETAL (MOA & YUI) MoiMoi songs. The other 3 are:-

If that was true, it's a testament to his amazing ability on the kicks.
there's always one babymetal perf that'll get you
Nobody will ever see this, but what people were talking about in the chat where they said kami means god and also means hair, they're spelled differently. God is 神 and hair is 髪. 神ばんど are the gods of music.
The Kami's were only going at 75% Speed for RoR. You want to see "Amore" for full speed.
The song for the guys who are full of them selves. The translated lyrics are toned down but it is very much trashtalks.

Sis. Anger a song the girls are mad at boys for being lazy and unambitious.
Yes, but then GJ is a complete contradiction.
@@Filboid2000 none of that is true. You seem irrational.
