VLOG 2 // MARINA’S INDIA // meeting my dad for the 1st time

- Now i finally have a good Wifi connection, i finnaly got to share my first days in India with you!
In these first days i finally got to meet my dad Konchog Tenzin after my nineteen- years of being on this earth. The differences in how we live, communicate and habits is quite big. But so is life on the other side of the world. I’m already enjoying my time here.
So, when my mom was a couple of years older than me now. My mom decided due personal reasons to travel the world. She didn’t came far because in India she (literally) run into my dad Konchog. Not long after their time together they married. Then when she came back in The Netherlands she found out she was pregnant. (classis bookstory)
After my birth, my mom and me, as a just-borned-baby went back to India The fairytale she used to lived in, in her time before, wasn’t the same anymore... My mom got sick and overly exhausted and stressed, me not getting my milk and very hungry. Other factors has also played a big roll, but neither of them wants to tell me ... This is the information I got and it’s fine.
I’m already gratefull for my time here and also met wonderfull new people like Ngawang and Zomkyi. To spend and bond with my family which i haven’t known for so long now is a already another amazing adventure

As a Tibetan who was born and has lived in India, i can assure you most of us consider Mother India our true mother. And yes, as much as we love Tibet. India is our home now.
Mind you, in the words of Kundun Dalai Lama...India has always been our spiritual mother.

Wow, just bumped into your Vlog somehow, this is some coincidence, I remember your dad holding you in a front baby sack when you were an infant in MT. I don't know him personally but I remember being particularly stuck by how happy and proud he was when carrying you in the baby sack. I can see Jampa la and Acha Yeshi in this video too, they are both wonderful members of our small community here in London.

Tenzin is written first than ur First name. Your name should be Tenzin Marina.
Thats a good point you got there Purana! You’re completely right. But my passport says ‘Hoser Tenzin’ and it’s just one name, no first no last. I’ve been raised the Dutch way and this is the way it has been as long as I’m here now.

Being an indian i wont call tibet people our guests coz we are more like two brothers of a family and one of which lives just adjacent to other brothers house but since some asshole has occupied that house of other brother illegally so both brothers are living in one house and hoping to get the house vacant from the goon...so in that way you my friend are a part of the family of indians too...stay blessed
