I can’t fault the VAs for saying the same song and dance we’ve been hearing for the past six weeks (dear Lord, six weeks already??). They can only say what EA/BioWare allow them to.
It’s a shame they’re not going to Gamescom, one would think that would be an ideal place and time to announce the release date. But, fall’s still roughly two months away, so hopefully we’ll see or hear something in the meantime!

True. Though our demands won't make Bioware become better at marketing. If they don't post, there's a reason for that and its secrecy has been discussed multiple times by everyone, including you and me😅 Why repeat ourselves? Maybe they don't care about sales because they know that it's the final chapter of DA universe? Go figure hahaha
They will soon! We know August holds a lot of new things and I think that is when the marketing will ramp up. We also know we will be getting the release date sometime this month. It'll happen soon.

They're clearly hitting the limit of what information they're allowed to tell us before launch. The IGN interview wouldn't confirm if Dorian will be returning because they want some of those returns tonbe surprises

Glad you're feeling better 🤗 Marketing is still frustrating, nothing new or substantial. I guess it's nice to know this part will be intentionally character driven, BW always shines in this regard and it implying presence of good writing, but still.. lot of telling, not enough showing. Why so much secrecy? Last time they did that end product left a lot to be desired (I'm looking at you, Anthem 😒)

The secrecy is indeed questionable. Either they want to avoid unnecessary noise or the release date is in November
@@ImpGoose I dunno, if they don't want much noise, why post the same article in bunch of different publications every week? It seams they want buzz and hype, but either doing it very badly, or have too little to show, aka actual game is a buggy mess no one should see till last possible moment. Very concerning.
@@tj3603 Game Informer had a 30 day exclusivity deal but were only given access to a small amount of information, and they decided to repeat info across multiple articles for 30 days instead of writing just two or 3 condensed articles. BioWare isn’t great at marketing (it’s always been one of their weakest points) but this was Game Informer’s decision, not BioWare.

@@OccultEclipse True, Game Informer only had one day for the interview and one day (or the same day) getting to play/got demonstrated a curated part of the game. They milked every second of it by adding a bunch of suggestions and poking controversy conversations just to generate traffic to themselves. Bioware has mostly remained silent itself, like most game companies do when they release games. You get a trailer that sets the mood, then maybe one that shows gameplay, a few screenshots and in some cases a dev interview. And then it is radio silence until release. So whatever Bioware is sharing beyond that is extra, and not 'not enough'. We've been spoiled by games in Early Acces like BG3 where the community gets a lot more information and interaction. But most studios don't work like that..
So Neve had a guarded personality due to tough life in Tevinter, but she stands up for what is right. Boss lady with a caring heart.
Lucanis kills for a living and his knife skills translate well to the kitchen. He uses sarcasm to make light of a world full of death and destruction. Trauma boy, desperately needs a hug.
And Emmrich is a scholar with a cold exterior, but his romance is hinted at being very sweet and gentle. So cold exterior to hide his shyness and fragile heart.
I wish we learned a little bit more about the other companions too xD But this info we got definitely confirms for me I'll be romancing Lucanis and travelling with Emmrich!
