How much power does Femto have:
Miura: yes
How much will power does Guts have:
Miura: yes, but he gonna need more
How much power is behind a Rickert slap?
Miura: Yes
The Masked Man yess yess LmaO
How long are you gonna take to resume your story since the last chapter?
Miura: YESS
i thought he was manipulating gravity gravity can warp space and time but i could be wrong
If Guts can't even best SK he's gonna have to find a different solution to get the bird.
I have a theory, The brand of sacrifice.
Guts and Casca find some way of getting it removed meaning that Griffith never completes his sacrifice rendering him mortal.
This theory => yes.
Or maybe the brand gives him the strength to defeat him
i actually think its not needed to remove the brand for this to be true. he never fully fulfilled his sacrifice therefore he was never truly divine and has a weakness and can be killed
That's actually a really good theory.
The only problem is that he didnt need them to die to complete the sacrifice
I really think that collective thought theory is the strongest.
collective thought might be his source of power, but it could also just be what fuels his ego, which could be his true power. so if people lost faith in him, his ego might be his undoing
Ehhh I think the second theory is by far the strongest.
he was figuratively and literally borne from the collective thought of people who desired a saviour, the white hawk, back in chapter 83- the idea of evil.
I feel like it if it was real then wouldn’t femto be shocked that actually got touched? If you’re a god that not even a canon can hurt you but suddenly a human slaps you then I think that would warrant some sort of shock
The astral world itself is literally a phenomenological imprint of the collective subconscious of humanity. (If you're any familiar with Jung, then you'll know exactly what I mean)
Humanity desired a savior, and humanity got one. It's a shame that this particular savior has his saving grace rooted down into the pits of hell.
Not even Miura knows how to defeat Femto.
Hes gonna have black zetsu back stab him and steal his powers.
I lowkey believe that Miura at this point has no clue how to properly tie the many loose ends of the story cause there're a lot. He may not even know how to end the story, could be one of the many reasons why the goddamn releases takes so long.
He does but it’s so complex and beyond belief that if he reveals it to readers it will warp reality and either the readers get sent off into the Berserk world or the Berserk world becomes a part of our reality
Donovan will be the one to defeat Femto. He took down Guts and now hes going to come back to life through causality to woo Femto through struggle snuggle.
@Damien yes thats the same reason why grrm can not finish his last books, the closer the end, the harder it gets to get all the pieces together in a harmonic way.
It’s truly upsetting that we will never get to see the true envisioned ending to Berserk.
Rest in peace, Dr Kentaro Miura
I think Miura's death WAS the only fitting ending for a series like this. It's just a stream of pointless suffering and struggle, and then suddenly, there is nothing.
RIP, but we all know we would not see the end anyway. He released 1-2 chapters a year and he needed at lest 150 to finish the story, I highly doubt he would've lived to 104 and even if he did, the dimentia would have him by then and the end of berserk would be absolute shit.
@Wesker JHG He’s 100% left some kind of transcript or has told someone about what he wanted for the ending the question is if it will ever come out to the public
He left a literal manual on how to final chapters of berserk for dummies ...the only question is , will they keep the artwork same and stick to his version of the story or alter it ?
@@FrostSoul-qs6kq where did you get this info friend? i can’t find it and would like to know more.

Atari火 what about Donovan
Dam! I really like that final theory of yours. Guts walking away from Griffith and telling him he was a stone in his path and taking Casca and his son with him would be a great finale.
leaving griffith how he was just before the eclipse would be poetic justice
We are talking about Berserk here...right? :)
The nostalgia
@Scrubby Mcfadden more like, i dont see an ending man, i hope i dont fucking die before the next chapter gets released
I dunno, Guts reeeaaaaallllly wants to kill him, but leaving him powerless would be the ultimate revenge
9:40 Yes. Just... yes. The ultimate insult to Griffith would to be ignored. The guy needs to be loved and chased after, and seeing his former friends just walking away from him again with him now powerless to stop it or take revenge would be a poetic end for the bastard. Maybe it could end with Griffith seeing the raging bonfire (of dreams) that Guts now has (all of his friends, family, and loved ones), and him realizing at the end of it all that he wishes he could be a part of it.
I think Guts will ended up fighting Griffith anyway, but with no hint of anger. Probably sadness as Guts confront Griffith and told him how he felt all these years. Both of them are going a heart-to-heart conversation through the fight (like Guts did with Serpico in Farnese's manor) and both will come to understand each other. I'm not sure if Guts will eventually kill Griffith, but he'll move on, that's for sure.
I think another way this could end is that Griffith becomes a bottomless hole , where whatever things he achieves doesn't fulfill and him and he loses his followers but also that he becomes so weak that guts as mych as he wants to kill him , doesn't to keep him through the suffering ...unallowing him to die
@Makuta S-V I think Griffith is about as far away from the concept of 'ubermench' as can be. He's not even human.
Femto : UNLIMITED POWER
Guts : UNLIMITED RAGE
I put my money on guts.......
Too bad anger only serves you well in anime and video games as a supernatural powerup. It is useless in the real world as too much of it lands you in jail and psyche wards, along with a number of health problems... unless controlled and used as a fuel for creativity, of course. If the physical and astral worlds collide IRL and become Fantasia, I would tap into my teenage years' rage all the time. xD
Kismet Welkin reality sucks anyways. Also, forgive me for my ignorance but is it true that whenever someone's adrenaline goes high it can make someone stronger for a limited time? And does screaming like a banshee make you strong just like how Goku goes ultra fucking instinct?
@@Somespideronline I agree that reality does suck but the prison of the flesh is a stifling realm that we will all be stuck in for this brief lifetime. If you were actually serious about the questions I guess the very meager boost (in comparison to ultra fucking instinct, at least) could be useful in life or death situations but the low probabilities of such events happening makes the damaging of blood vessels and increased risk of a heart attack, to name a few of the issues, totally worth it. Also the banshee scream would only give you a psychological edge over the weakest of foes, say, a terrified little kid who is trying to defend himself/herself from your wrath after having stolen a couple of your favorite video games.
@D Moll We are in berserk's world. Berserk is reflection of our world, not the other way around
@D Moll Berserker's world is made out of our brains, which are capable of making much worse realities than that. Berserk is bad, but it has promise of hope. Our brains are capable of making hopeless scenarios. There is no worse story than a story that has completely been stripped away from any hope, therefore berserk is no where near such scenario. I would say it is to certain extend accurate reflection however to what is normaly happening in our day to day lives.
Theory #4 : The slap caught Griffith off guard, he wasn't anticipating such a physical reaction from Rickert. His assumption of what Rickert was in the past cost him or maybe he felt too drunk with power he deemed himself "untouchable".
Much more likely than theories given in the video. As some people stated in the comments already, Femto was very powerful from the second he was born. He didn't have any following back then, and he was untouchable already.
If slaps could kill he would be an oozie....
Dude, they guy can literally predict causality, he defeated ganishka by doing nothing except letting skull knight fuck himself over, he is so untouchable he can win a supernatural war, create a massively ego boosting city out of thin air and become the idol of the masses with one sword stroke that he didn't even swing himself, he is that level of untouchable that this was all his plan, he basically has the cheat codes to life at this point, but he didn't expect rickert's response, otherwise he wouldn't have told him those things on the hill of swords, something is definitely up with that
Marco Gianesello if that’s true that he has “the cheat codes to life” then he wouldn’t have let the slap connect. No matter if he knew it was going to happen, he can just stop the slap or have reflect back. Your argument is just as flawed as the theories provided here.
@@MJGianesello yea cause the god hand usually can’t predict small insignificant events like rickets slap

I think a major weakness Femto/Griffith might have is magic. Magic users can draw power from the astral realm and judging but what Flora can do in Casca’s dream, they are capable of annihilating entire armies.
That may explain why Griffith views witches/sorcerers as a threat to his power.
@Buddy Ol pal i am expecting schiekre to take to take flora's place she has already helped guts so much and she will become more stronger while they are in elf island like learning new magics
If you put it that way....
That could definitely make sense! I'd imagine farnese and shrieke doing magic in the background while guts and casca are biding time for them to weaken Griffiths powers
I think you're right. He is destroying the Trees of Light, destroying links that the witches have with the 'good' part of the astral world.
Guts was probably getting magic and a magical sword to defeat femto.
One small correction here, the demon infant was actually a random variable, he wasn’t actually meant to be Femto’s vessel, the egg of the perfect world was. The infant was fused into the egg randomly, so that’s a bit of poetic justice for Femto. I also see a combo of the first theory and the moonlight boy theory being the most likely case for how Femto is defeated. Another thing is tho, would the godhand even allow that to happen? way too many questions lmao
The egg of the perfect world died - the demon infant became Griffith. Think about it - the EGG of the perfect world. The egg hatches and breaks, and what is inside comes out. The egg died due to the wound from Skull Knights sword, and Griffith was reincarnated from the fetus. Mirua spends months working on these comics, there's no such thing as a 'random' event happening. Especially when this event is the most important in all of history, and came about due to causality and fate. So the baby was fated to be there, so he could swallow it and Femto could have a human body and exist in the physical world
@@samuelrichard8849 Griffith's own words in chapter 179, The Beast Swordsman VS The Black Swordsman :
"These feelings must belong to that infant that fused into my vessel."
He didn't say "these feelings must belong to the infant that gave me this vessel", or "these feelings must belong to the former owner of this vessel/body".
He specifically used the words "fused into my vessel".
Besides, the entire message of the Guardians of Desire chapters in the Black Swordsman arc is that free will can and often will triumph over causality and fate.
Shady Pillow exactly, the egg of the perfect world is like a behelit used to reincarnate Femto and the fetus was a vessel in the physical world for Femto.
But something about this always bothered me:
_Why didn't the Egg simply crack and Griffith pop out once it was done doing what it felt it needed to do?_
Also, I pretty sure that Skull Knight said specifically that the Godhand cannot inhabit the physical world without something to slip into, like Slan using Troll guts for example.
If that weren't the case then she could just appear any time she wanted without the hassle of finding a meat suit.
Why would that logic not apply to Femto, who is another member of the Godhand?
This is a *HUGE breath of fresh air* to be getting new Berserk theories when not a single chapter has come out for a long time
Careful what you wish for comrade.
@@Invincible-Under-the-Sun you psychic?
An important thing that the skull knight said to Guts is, "Whoever you choose to save, only choose one" the implies Guts will have to either sacrifice casca or his son. What's also important from the skull knight is, "What you want may not be what the person you're saving want"
The moonlight boy will do suicide.
Only thing is, femto had enormous power the moment he was brought into creation, before anyone believed in him or knew of his existence. So even if we say he's weaker if no one believes in him, he'll at least be as strong as he was at the eclipse upon being reborn. Which is... Still too strong
Houston what about the apostles that were during the eclipse? Maybe their belief in the ritual made Griffith powerful.
Agreed. To say that he is strong because people believes him to be is reaching. Zodd didn't know Femto and still got owned. No God is strong because people believe Him to be. He is strong because he has proven to be or is feared because He is.
@@sebastiankennedy6858 maybe it is because apostles are naturally to be weaker than the members of the Godhand ( and attached to their will ).
So it means that the rules are different to all those who sacrificed others with a behelit.
Well, Femto got the power from The Idea of Evil, which is collective faith of human for reasons, of which its source of power. When most humankind faith shifted not in favor of The Idea, i think it will weaken Femto as well.
I believe that femto is affected by people's belief exclusively in the human world, that is why so many preparations were made for his arrival in the world announcing him as a savior, it is likely that if he had not done all this he would be a simple human at the time of reincarnate
The thories are interesting, but i think the second one is the most likley, Griffith just allow that slap to happen, therefore it doesn't have any significance regarding how to defeat him.
I like to think he didn't, he has such an inflated ego of himself at this point and thinks he's completely invincible; so he genuinely didn't expect Rickert to bitch slap him at all, its the only time he's seemed surprised since the Golden Age
That would still be big. It means that, somewhere in him, Femto is fueled by self-loathing.
Maybe it indicates that he'll be defeated by being forced to see the full horror of the word he's created?
I feel like that would be an appropriate end. Femto was born out of personal despair, and is driven to suicide by despair for the world.
2:13😂😂
Also Guts and Casca will kill Griffith with the ultimate pimp slap *CONFIRMED*
Hola Donovan did nothing wrong.
They will slap the soul out of him so hard that his soul will break the spacetime continuum and 4 dimension then he will land in real hell and satan will pimp slap him for eternity for trying to play god/devil lol
My theory is that guts will travel north to be trained by this slapping monster ua-cam.com/video/Hdp3UkLAfe8/v-deo.html
Have you ever imagined that the moonlight child could be the white falcon of the prophety and not femto
Wow. Thank you for this comment
Steven Herms holyshit
Indeed. Griffith is the false prophet.
I dont think so. The child got fused into Griffith by accident. Its also only a part of his reincarnated body. If he decides to leave his flesh body again, the child will have no power over Griffith and gets sperated from him.
good one, man
If Guts' sword ever reached him, it would potentially fatally wound him. But how can a sword ever reach a being who can not only manipulate time and space, but the flow of causality? It's quite the pickle.
Femto has also telekinesis. How can you fight that? He is like a fucking jedi. He should at least kill not only zodd, but also all 4 hand members, which is basically impossible. Magic or something related to killing more apostols or even the grey behelit should make something up.
Tbh it could work, if SK and Guts both fought him together, and if the sword of actuation still works, they could pull it off
If I had to make a bet on two people in Berserk who could pull it off its those two, besides only those two have such weapons
Did u see the latest chapter?

I like the idea of Rickert willing the ability to slap Griffith, but it just seems more likely that Griffith let it happen.
RIP Miura. So special for someone to be able to create something so monumental.
Griffith's self harm tendency is foreshadowing for his downfall. A part of him wants to feel pain
Why would he harm himself for? Everytime we have seen him inflict pain to himself was to gain something. He should be against the wall that to happen.

I need Schnoz origin story!
“Showdown”, more like massacre.
Is that your real photo
a one sided fight, if you can even call it a fight
*Indeed I am, continue to worship me and give me strength, my dear followers.*
You forgot that Griffith has Causality manipulation, that even skullknight said fighting him is like the characters of the book trying to fight the writer , it was why Guts teamed up with Zodd to beat thats Firewind apostle (forgot his name) , its also obviously means that even though you know he's controlling your fate , you can't resist it since skullknight tried using the sword of actuation on Femto and we all know how that went.
I think rickert's slap shows griffith still having some attachment to who he was , cause then why else would he even bother asking rickert if he was really done with all his human attachments , he inside himself even though he knew rickert would reject him (cause even without controlling fate , asking someone who actually knows him to join him is just dumb) he desperately wanted to be validated by someone who connected to his lost humanity, he was going against his own Logic of knowing what will happen, in belief that maybe he might be wrong in someway, to prove his actions right in someway.
I hope that makes sense , basically he knew he'd get slapped but hoped inside he wouldn't, which is also why he doesn't want rickert dead as he stopped his apostles from doing anything to him, but the apostles are acting outside of his actions, though I wonder if he's aware and what his reaction will be.
I normally see present day Griffith/Femto as neutral evil anyway, he'll do what he has to for the betterment of himself but if he doesn't see it as much a threat or is inclined to feel somthing, he'll pause and just let what be; being passive.
In all honesty he's very passive, even when it comes to Guts existence , he should have killed Guts a long time ago for killing apostles ,plus both Guts and Casca are still his sacrifices , but instead just talks BS infront of Guts , either saying he doesn't feel anything or that Guts is beneath him , letting Guts live and kill more apostles , showing his real nature that if it doesn't bother him personally, even though he knows about it , he won't do anything about it.
Hence why the slap is possible.
I appreciate that you time your polls so I'm still super hyped by the time you drop the video.
its honestly such a shame that we will never see how this series will end
seriously its so cool
Man I would love your ending of Guts winning by simply walking away
I think the whole idea of berserk is what will encapsulate the ending. The story is about Guts fighting against a seemingly unchanging fate. However, when we first see Griffith stop Guts in his tracks only using his eyes, we also see Gut’s rage and determination spur him on and he moves closer to Griffith despite being controlled by an existential force. I believe this foreshadows the ending.
In layman’s terms: Guts will be literally be too angry to let Griffith (and the idea of evil) win.
3:16 All of those arrows in the mortal realm missed a reincarnated Griffith, yet Guts in the astral realm, aimed his arm cannon squarely at Femto, which didn’t damage him, but he had to deflect it.
Too bad we won't get to see the end of the story. R.I.P Miura.
I have a feeling we would. Someone must carry on his legacy, and I'd bet it would be soon. May Miura rest in peace, that legend.
@@vaporwave-man I just can’t accept any ending, even if it was officially made by miura’s assistants, as a canon ending.
I think Femto's power isn't unlimited because his sacrifice wasn't full: Casca and Gutts are still alive.
So if he kills guts and caska his power will be unlimited? He is an angel, so he should be able to fall. There were other members of the hand before the ones that are now...so that means that they can be replaced because they arent the same 4 so you can kill them.
Yes he Is new Born if He kill guts and casca he wil be idea of evil this hearth will be in his body because of that he dont kill casca later or Guts to kill idea And void 🤣🤣 then he will destroy mindland for peace 😄
I ducking pray miura wrote the ending somewhere
I think the theory about appealing to that one shred of humanity left in Griffith/Femto holds water the most, it seems quite in line with the whole theme of Berserk.
I've recently re-read and watched the film adaptation - seeing the godhand flinch in fear when Guts' broken sword inched closer to Femto despite his efforts is a special kind of warm feeling.
It was a bad scene made only for protagonist hype
The first theory makes a lot of sense... conviction and willpower go a long way in Berserk and it's a part of the series main themes. Reminds me a lot of Haki from One Piece, with willpower literally becoming a vessel of power for you to channel your unyielding will into, to create incredibly destructive attacks, amongst other things.
Skull Knight grinded his life for a legendary sword and I grinded my life for World of Warcraft mounts

I like the idea of Guts, Casca and the kid just leaing him there powerless. He goes insane, some reverse eclipse shit happens and he's reduced to his feeble state before the Eclipse, and he is left to rot in the snow.
The last bit you mentioned as a possible final "fight" between Femto and Guts, where Guys just dismisses him, is what I hope for the ending.
It could even be the moment where Griffith loses a large portion of his power. Guts' conviction to get revenge against Griffith, to fight night after night for however long it takes to get to him, is like a high priest flagelating himself for his God. It's almost ironic, but Guts may contribute the most to the belief of Femto's divinity in an a 'godfearing' way. Like an atheist who spends their entire life only debating the existence of God, giving that God power.
For guts to look Femto in the eyes and say, "I don't care about you anymore, I've found my own life," would be like the pope saying God doesn't matter to him anymore. This would honestly be more satisfying (to me, at least) than some grand final battle to the death between the two.
Atheists Ignoring the argument gives God power. Itz lik having a political position but never voting.

I think the Demon child/Moonlight Child will cause Griffith to be defeated somehow. Thats how Guts will beat him.
isnt the moonlight child kind of like griffith's body of sorts?
TheFlameGamer sort of.. Casca’s demon child was used as the body that Griffith/Femto is ‘reincarnated’ with in the physical world by the egg of the perfect world. For some reason, Femto changes from Griffith to the Moonlight boy on the night of a full moon, then returns to being Griffith. It’s not outright stated, but this is what a lot of people suspect to be the case. Griffith essentially is and isn’t the moonlight child, if that makes sense. Their presence, in the physical world at least, is linked together. You can find more of this theory and the details I left out by looking online. It’s been a while since I reread the manga, so I could have missed something in my explanation.
@@BobbyZo43383 so basically if guts kills child = guts kills griffith
TheFlameGamer I can’t confirm that, but it seems to be the case given that the dragon slayer can kill beings in the astral realm and Femto is linked to the child’s body.

Coming back to this knowing the new chapter come out tomorrow!! Can’t wait to see what’s in store
I feel like for theory one it would be less about Rickert's desire to slap Griffith, it would be because he hold no belief in Griffith's power. He didnt witness the Eclipse or any demonstration of Griffith Godly power. To him, Griffith is just a cowardly man who betrayed his friends.
I feel like the idea of evil lends some credence to the theory, perhaps reworked into Femto getting power from peoples beliefs and innermost desires, while the Black Swordsman is empowered by the Apostle (and most like Griffith/Femto's) fear of him, and the demise he brings.
by the time this manga ends its gonna be another 20 more years
Miura going to be around 70 when he finishes this masterpiece
Hopefully his assistants will finish the story.
I think it’s a lot simpler: he just didn’t see it coming. Griffith is a physical being now, anyone and anything can hurt him. It’s just that he is also insanely strong and can usually prevent harm when he pleases. But this time he just didn’t expect it. To quote Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood “Even if (you have) the eyes of a god, you can’t dodge an attack, if you can’t see it coming”
This is kinda supported by how humanity stopped seeing magical creatures like elves simply because they stopped believing in them.
He’s a cheat mode character, the power of gravity.
Nice theories man, what I think is this story never end.
Guts overgrown Griffith in Golden Age. Maybe he will overgrown him again - maybe with help of some behelith. Or maybe he will loose.
The theory that he would have to kill his own child has a lot of merit to it, especially if Casca does not wish for this to happen. "There's no guarantee that your wish will be her wish", originally I thought he meant that Casca may not want to return to sanity as her experience was far too traumatic for her to deal with but we've seen that not to be true and she has mostly returned to normal aside from breaking down when seeing guts or thinking about what happened in the eclipse, so perhaps what he meant was that if it means killing her own son then Casca may prefer to just forget the past and move on. So either Guts will accept reality as it now is or he will try to separate his son from Griffith.
OH MY GOD
FEMTO IS A VIABLE FAITH BUILD
You forgot one more point the 4th point : "It' fate"
Its very apparent Gut's strength is inhuman to begin with but on top of that he is able to cut demons, ghosts, etc cause of his exposure to them. He is able to see, feel and injure what a normal human cannot and that is obviously some kind of power increase which is not going to just go away when he fights griffith. Guts' own power is rising as he goes on whether it be due to his inner demons or something else. Guts is getting stronger and he will one day be strong enough to face griffith.
He is still a normal human being in a medivial era , he will only live long as 60 or 70 years of age at best .
He is getting stronger . But does he have enough time to even live ? Femto is a god . He cannot die . He is immortal. But guts is a mortal . How guts gona get so strong in such short time
I jive hard with the sliver of humanity theory. Somewhere inside Femto is a piece of Griffith that either regrets his sacrifice or acknowledges that it was “wrong”. He still chooses to tread the path, but he probably knows deep within his being that his kingdom is a farce and his dream died at the hillside when Guts first left him.
Also he shows an expression of surprise when Rickert slaps him. I think that right there is proof enough that he can be taken out.
Edit: just double-checked. His eyes are masked by his bangs but his mouth hangs agape just a bit. My headcanon is that he was surprised by the slap and reacts with a hint of shock.
Sea Green Sugar Cube I feel like the sliver of humanity is from Guts and Casca’s child. Griffith has the child’s body, and on the full moon it is suspected that the child takes over and has brief control of the body, becoming the Moonlight Boy.
I feel like the guys are going to have to kill the Moonlight Boy, his son, to finally destroy Femto.
the collective thought theory is brilliant!
Either death or left behind with a broken body, no kindom, left to survive on his own and everyone aware of his past sin.
I do wonder if he will go mad with power like the anime mentioned or will his past sin be expose to all falconia leaving everyone to abandon griffith forcing him to abuse his power to keep them in line.
Amazing how ricket is the only member of the band who was not present at the feast for the child of darkness femto
Also remember when Griffith tried to attack Skull Knight during the eclipse? He crushed a bunch of apostles by just raising his hand. SK got lucky he missed and didnt fully understand his power yet.
I wouldn't sell SK short in their encounter. He knew to immediately block his own sword being redirected at him by Void. SK seems very aware of what the God Hand are capable of, especially after what was revealed in the latest chapter.
@@Zikk0_o Oh I am sure he is fully aware but there was definitely a risk with Femto since he was new and even SK couldnt have knewn what powers he uses. Also evident on top of Ganishka when SK tried to hit Femto with the Behelit sword. That definitely didnt go as planned since, well, he didnt knew what Femto is capable of. In the case of Void, it definitely felt like they fought before which explained the instant reaction to Voids redirection. I am sure they had multiple encounters in the past 1000 years. Hopefully we will learn about that more in the upcomming chapters.
@@EldenLord. Yeah, and I think the attack on Femto was a gamble. SK kinda gave the impression that it was something new he was trying. I also think that the God Hand are not completely invincible. Both Void and Femto made a point of distorting the space around SK's attack rather than tank the hit. Makes me think that if a direct blow was to actually land that it would have some effect. Not enough to kill, but something give them pause.
He Is conected with apostles when he was idea of evil if He had idea of him he will just rise his finger and god hand is kiled
Something I think will be important later on will be names. I remember during the sea god saga that when the girl that lived in the island became a mermaid she learned her "real" name. She was about the tell the others but Shierke's elf told her that she shouldn't say her real name out loud just like that because those who know your real name have power over you. This stuck with me cause Griffith was reborn as Femto, so his real name is now Femto, but Guts still calls him Griffith. Maybe by saying his real name out loud, Femto's true form as a God hand will be exposed to the public thus, shattering the trust that his followers have in him. This is something I think might be important.
I'm betting my money to Guts taking skull knights armor and covering his big sword with those behelit and a ton of magic. Still the odds are enormous.
Its crazy because before i even heard about berserk i saw a picture of the god hand specifically void and i was like whatever this anime is i have to see it and know what these crazy looking characters are all about.
I had a similar thing with Johan in monster
"Just a theory....."
"A GAME THEORY!"
I believe the reason that Rickert was able to slap Griffith/ Femto, was because he never believed that Griffith was a true hero or devil. I think you nailed it when you assume belief has something to do with Femto's power. Remember, Its people believing a hawk of light will save all, only after the forced vision they all had. I think because Rickert looks at him as neither hero nor villain, that he looses his ability to cloak himself from harm. Honestly everything about Griffith is based on believing in something greater, he only got to where he is now, driven by a dream. Maybe that is his true weakness. If we take the non cannon idea of evil at face value, it stated it came to existence, because man willed it so. Couldn't the opposite also be true? Ive never subscribed to the Guts will Slay Griffith theory, I think the end of Griffith lies in people loosing faith in him, and I think that Rickert is going to be the sword that cuts through the facade that Griffith cloaks himself in. What can a man like Griffith accomplish, if he has nobody to believe in him. Honestly, im always at the edge of my seat with each chapter, and I look forward to being proven wrong in the future.
I personally believe that Griffith and the Moon Child, two originally mortal beings heavily connected to the astral world, inhabit the physical body of the Egg of the Perfect World.
My reasoning is Griffith's own words in chapter 179, The Beast Swordsman VS The Black Swordsman :
"These feelings must belong to that infant that fused into my vessel."
He didn't say "these feelings must belong to the infant that gave me this vessel", or "these feelings must belong to the former owner of this vessel/body".
He specifically used the words "fused into my vessel". As in, moonboy and Griffith sharing the same body was completely unplanned.
Imagine what will happen to Griffith/Femto's brain when he inevitably witnesses Gattsu and not another version of the band of the hawk or Gattsu's mercenary band or some well funded army- just Gattsu and a group of estranged friends fighting to protect humanity's dreams and free will. A band of the hawk that desires no great wealth, no kingship, no power over others, with just their own conviction and resolve to use their strength to overcome femto and the god hand. And the beast of darkness gets out of the armor because femto struck it trying to attack Gattsu and it consumes all the apostles and god hand then the real fight begins against a far more evil being. One that knows not kill or be killed, attack or defend, live or die, only consume and devour!
He wont and doesnt give a fuck
Thought about the god hands combining no lie if there the god is there only one better be if this manga wants to finish
I drank to much but when I wake up I'll have one heck of a doozi for this. Just check this comment periodically.
You woken up yet? :)
What if he legit died
Just because of the How I Met Your Mother reference 😂 you got my sub
Why do you believe that the Berserker Armor won’t exist when the final battle occurs?
Toby As long as the armor is a conduit for unleashing Guts’ beast of darkness, it does more harm than good. Leading him to eventually end up like Skull Knight. I believe Guts will break himself free of it.
Илиан Алексиев he hasn’t had it for a majority of the story tho
@Илиан Алексиев Maybe the manga aim to show the power of lucidity through rage anger. Like the capacity of Guts to get out of the darkness from the armour, this time without a second person in the process. Allowing him a god-like power.
@@RealLifeRyan i have to disagree.. He will learn to control it rather than getting rid of it.. And at this point there is no question of getting rid of the armor
never heard of berserk, happened to find 8 hour video of berserk.... You guessed right, I watched it all, I filled my soul with berserk. But my stress had been growing rapidly. I need answers. I need more videos, I need manga. please.... help me.
My thought is Guts is the one person Griffith has to fear. The brand puts Guts on the same plane as Griffith. This may be why Gits has seemed weak compared to Griffith. Griffith knows what he is doing and Guts doesn't. So what happens if Guts gets a tutor that teaches him how to fight as the spirits do? Yeah, Guts might indeed gain the ability to be the one person who can cut Griffith.
As to why the pump slap got Griffith...I think it was because Griffith simply both recognized it as not a threat and honestly didn't expect it. Most everyone adores him. And here is someone who used to idoloze him. Having that boy become a man and loath him is a shock. So the shock of that moment and the fact it wasn't a real attack means Griffith just didn't put his guard up in time to defend himself. At all other times he would be invulnerable. But at that moment his own will was weak enough that he could be slapped. It shows the weakness of a god like entity. Their own self belief has a strong hold on their ability. When they feel invincible, they are. When they feel emotionally vulnerable, they can be struck. The other godhand may be aware of this weakness and it is why they do not come out of hiding very often. Anyone who can emotionally manipulate them could hurt them in a very real manner.
Griffith allowed Rickert to do it. He felt that Rickert deserved at least that after what he did to the band of the hawks.
I dont think Femto is dependent on collective thought. I mean look at what he was capable upon immediately transforming into the fifth God hand. Literally no one else, other than Guts and Casca, even knew about his ascension, yet he could already warp and compress reality with just glance. I think second theory is the most likely. I think Femto just accepted the slap.
I think the weakness of Femto is Guts and Casca, cause the ritual was not completed. They are mark as sacrifices, but still alive. So till they die, he will still have part of what Griffith was.
I think all these theories are great, and I really like the collective thought theory; however, what makes Femto so strong when he is initially reborn during the Eclipse? He clearly has power early on, but maybe it is just very minimal and _APPEARS_ greater because of Guts' and Casca's vulnerable state. I really don't know
Coming back to this video after 2 yrs 🥺
But Femto was just as strong as his birth (transformation into god hand) as he ever was later. When he had just become a god hand no one had any reason to believe he was so powerful. He displayed his power first, then people started to believe he was powerful.
I feel like Griffith's invulnerability might be an active ability. That'd explain why the arrows and the dragonslayer failed, but Rickert managed to strike him. He was so utterly reassured that Rickert would end up giving in, or at least that at this point no one would dare lay a finger on him, that he didn't even feel the need to ward himself against physical harm. Conversely, it might have something to do with trying to portray himself as less inhumane while in Falconia, though I doubt that'd be the case considering his savior schtick.
Anyone believes that berserk Will continue without Miura? I hope so
I would just be fine with the editors releasing the rough drafts Miura had for the final fight/chapters
The shit you said at the end I really hope will be the ending. That’s if the manga gets continued which I don’t really think it will not anytime soon atleast
The ability to control space-time and telekinesis are one and the same for Femto. If you manipulate space around a person, you are also manipulating their position in space, therefore moving them.
rickert was using the power of schnoz and tapped in to his inner donovan to slap griffith
Or maybe Rickert's hand was blessed by the almighty Schnoz to pimp slap Griffith for the sake of audience's satisfaction.
My theory for the slap is a lot more simpler: Griffith did not see it coming. It was mentioned during the eclipse that members of the God Hand were really good at predicting the future, yet they were not omniscient. Contrary to every other attacks on Griffith, Rickert's slap was completely unexpected.
When your a cripple so you sacrifice your friends to turn into an edge lord
Your second theory on why he got slapped makes the most sense
I don't want to go too far into it here because I was thinking about making my own video on the topic; but I think Zodd may be the key to defeating Femto.
To shreds you say?
Zodd is simply paying allegiance to the strongest warrior. One day when he sees Guts fighting Griffith, he may see that he can stand his ground and stand with Guts.
Femto always reminded me of the "phantom of paradise" movie.
cute, you guys think berserks ever gonna end?😭
