Woww ive always powdered before foundation and it always makes such a big difference but I’ve never put powder again after foundation! I’ll definitely try this thank you for the tips!!❤️❤️
I love your accent!!! 💕 i have oily skin too and find that the Becca primer works best for me. BUT, I will say..... after trying different makeup, I think there are a bunch of factors that come into play! First, your skin hydration level! My skin is ALWAYS more oily when I try to make it dry. It’s like it produces more oil BECAUSE it’s dry. When I put on an oil free moisturizer first, my skin is fine.. also, I stopped washing my face with soap before makeup because it dries me out. I just take a hot wet rag and wash my face with it without soap. second, I stopped using “for oily skin” foundations and powders. Something about products “for oily skin” we’re naming me more oily and I think it’s because it contains drying substances, that provoke your skin to make more oil lol. I still by oil free just not “for oily skin”. My skin is so much better now!! I still get a little oily around my nose and forehead sometimes, but not nearly as bad and it will strangely be the days I either didn’t wash off my face with hot water or didn’t moisturize. I hope this helps! I don’t even wear my primer anymore except on days I know the heat will be blazing and I’ll sweat

I use to use the Becca primer too and it’s no longer sold. Do you know another primer to use that’s similar to Becca?

I think the foundation plays a part also when it comes to the oily skin after so many hours of wear🙂
Thank you for taking the time and reviewing all those primers for us oily boys and girls. No matter what I use, my makeup is slicking off my face. I still haven’t found the “holy grail” makeup products for my oily skin.
I would say that you should switch to a matte foundation as that L’Oréal one is for more normal/ dry. I found that Pairing a matte primer and foundation would be a matte look for longer

I finally found someone with skin as oily as mine 😭 I’ve always STRUGGLED with it. nothing really seems to work very much for long periods of time but I’ve heard there’s a becca primer that is super good for oil that I wanna try
I think you should have blotted after maybe 5 hours and then see.. as a fellow oily skin sister it’s imposs not to blot after a few hours, even with the best high end primer 🥴. You’re gorgeous and your skin is amazing .. thank you for the informative vid

That way I could compare how good they were by how oily I was at the end of the day xxx

Cerave was for oily/normal skin saved my oily skin.. Its much more balanced now 😅😅
You guys shouldn't don't play with The Collection!! Their matte lipsticks stay on all day, better than MAC actually and I LOVE their concealer which is one of the most respected in the makeup industry. Try it!!

It’s so hard for people with oily skin to use any type of makeup we always have to pat are faces can’t even use highlighter or decent eye shadows
The NYX primer works wonders, maybe try to warm it with your fingers then apply it tapping, instead of rubbing it in your skin.

Your skin is very pretty with and without make-up. Since the oil is problematic you would look just as pretty without the foundation. I am also an oil queen. I stopped my focus from make-up to skin care. Reason being having clear skin eliminates the need for make-up.
Make-up is a confidence booster but so is beautiful skin.😏
Now my focus is in finding matte products for my bare skin. Most are made to be worn under make-up.

You should try the ordinary primers and I think it's cheaper than the first one you used. Also, powder foundation (bare minerals) works best on oily skin than liquid foundation. I always find I end up more oily with liquid than powder foundation.

@@chadiasmith6890 the ordinary make skincare product such as face serums. They have a face primer product. I no longer use their product as Elf primer works the same.

You need to try the smashbox smooth and blur primer. I think you also need to use a setting powder to set everything. Maybe change your foundation as well.

I know this is an old video, but the foundation you used yes I know it's a beautiful foundation but it's not oily skin friendly 😭 it is best for dry skin Because it's a dewy foundation, that was part of the problem but I'm pretty sure you have realized this by now though .. great video though, thanks for all of the effort you put into making this video 😃👍🏽
From what I saw, the nyx was the least shiny one after 9 hours for you. The last one was def more oily. I’m getting the nyx one!

knowing my luck NYX will be the best but £15 it too much for me! Although occasionally i will treat my self i wouldn't buy it all the time. I'm hoping the collection one is ok because i've seen it on amazon lol and want to try it.
