Great video! Thank you deeply for exploring Moon VR Player alongside our community. Glad to hear that you're enjoying it! Can't wait for our launch on Pico in just 3 days!
Thank’s vor great video👍 Is it possible to somehow enlarge the screen with a movie even more, without bringing it closer to you? To make it feel like being in a movie theater?
Yes, there are both the Zoom and Distance options that enlarge the screen in different ways. There is also a movie theater environment that adds to the immersion even more. If you want to simulate the feeling of being in a movie theater, you can't go wrong with this app :)
Yeah, it's wall-mounted. That way it takes the least space. It also has an "arm" inside the mechanism, so I can still move it in all four directions, distance it from the wall like 40-50 cm, and rotate it +/- 45°. But who needs physical screens today when we have the Moon VR Player! :) And for working on your computer, the Immersed app is all you need..
It's called a Video Player for a reason! :) If you check the app description in the Pico Store, you will see all the file formats it supports, and JPG/PNG is not one of them, let alone more specific 3D SBS.
MKV files were actually the ones I played in the video, but I'm not sure about FP support. If you can provide a download link to a sample file, I can try playing it inside the Moon VR Player. Btw, 17 years on UA-cam - congrats! :)
Haha :) Plays everything, but not *off* everything! :) I would recommend connecting your SSD to a PC, then streaming your movies via SMB or DLNA, or by using Moon Link. I would do that even if my SSD would work directly with the Pico.
@@moonvrarxr Unfortunately, the NTFS file system is not supported in the MOON VR app right now. I've tried it, and the app still asks for a FAT32 formatted storage, which is really an outdated file system. And I personally couldn't even reformat any of my several 128+GB storages to FAT32 using any of the format tools that I have (at least 2 or 3 different ones). The Pico OS actually supports both NTFS and exFAT out of the box (at least the built-in File Manager), so I would guess that implementing in-app support for those shouldn't be so difficult. What might indeed be difficult is acquiring access permission to external storage under Android 10 which I found is really hit-and-miss with dozens of 3rd party file managers that I've tried. Thanks for forwarding our requests to the team!👍
Right now you can't watch movies and videos with your friends. As for the content, you can watch anything that is stored on your headset (and USB storage), or stream anything from your PC via DLNA/Samba shared folders. Soon we will have even cloud support, so you'll be able to stream videos from your online storage!
Take a better look. I know the video is long, but if you expand the video description, you could see I was actually talking about SMB right there at the @3:41 minute mark. Just make sure you don't use some special characters for your password, as the app won't accept them.
This player has major problems. Can't view items in list format. Really bad when you have directories with a lot of files. Can't scroll down with device by moving the side bars. Pass-through is nice and it does show signs of promise. But for a paid app?? It's good of you only have like 5 or so videos.
I wouldn't call that "major problems", even more so because you listed only one :) That particular "issue" isn't anything critical from my point of view. You can still use the controller thumbstick for scrolling through your list of videos, which behaves the same way the scrollbar would do. But you can remind Moon VR devs of such feature on their social networks and they might implement it.
It may not be a major problem but It's a real pain. All the other players can scroll properly. It is something that needs to be fixed. To be be fair, every player has an annoying quirk, but this one makes it hard to use.@@AllThingsPico

Thanks for watching! And for providing a review copy of the app :) I'm sure many will like it once it's released!

your irl tv setup is clean 😁

Iove pico 4 it's awesome 😎
Does not play SBS images. I still cannot find an app to see my 3D photos made with Kandao 3d camera on Pico 4. So disappointing

It would be great if it could play frame-packed mkv-files from 3D bluray rips, but that would probably be to ask for too much.

@@AllThingsPico Thank you! I don't have a sample file to give you, but I will try it out when the Moon VR Player is released.
It doesnt have loop option when u watch p*rn
Well, that's just sad 😂 Let's hope they implement a looping feature soon 👍
plays everything except all my 100 3d movies in ssd exfat

Hey there! Give NTFS or FAT32 a shot, which should work just fine! Already forwarded your request about exFAT to our team🙌🏻

Can you invite friends to watch with you? Or add your own content??

No invairment
I'm not sure what you mean by that..? Could you please explain it in more than two words?
@@AllThingsPico maybe he meant, there are no other environment option, like theater or something.
@@Note96718 You're right. I only found out later that Moon VR has support for environments on other platforms. Hope we get them soon on the Pico!
Disappointed, no SMB option.😮
