I didn't mean that they have surpassed the connoisseurs of Indian classical dancers, I have only stated that they are far more superior than many dancers in India in the light of the fact that I have encountered many Indian Bharatnatyam dancers who are lacking in grace and required boldness. To reach up to the level of a great Bharatnatyam dancer as in south India, one has to devote heart & soul to the art. I can suggest you a channel named sridevinrithyalaya...an institution imparting education in Bharatnatyam in the melattur style. The dancers are from Chennai and the dancers there are epitome of perfection.

The dancers performed brilliantly.. 👏👏👏💐💐. Throughout watching this video I was trying to find out the reason why they performed on the street 🤔. Most of the Indian Classical Dance forms are Temple Arts and we never perform them on streets. I was a dancer before I got married 20 yrs back. So felt sad when I saw this. 😞
This is before the Lord on Rath and hence can be considered as Temple, if u don't want to fault it.

KUCHIPUDI is from south part of india , STATE called ANDHRA PRADESH .

Wish schools would include more of such cultural arts - dance , martial arts, music for d child's education as it is fun and educative. Some have it but by 7th grade d focus is on other academic subjects n this is never given d attention it deserves...
