I play mainly tiered obbies and I think tiered obbies are for people who are into experimental purist gameplay with larger boundaries. I don't think they are pointless and I would probably quit being an obbyist if they die out.
3:25 that's because when you ledge grabbed you were too close to the ladder, to avoid no-jump flicking unintentionally you have to ledge grab further away.
note: Stairway to Heaven is thought to be the hardest possible obby ever made, so *_uhhHhhh_* edit: guys I know there are harder tiered obbies than this, but I was talking about theoretically possible obbies.
The math at 6 minutes only checks out assuming that the exponential difficulty numbers aren't already equal to the actual difficulty. The tiers scale similarly with the JToH notated difficulty numbers, so it could be the case that the exponential difficulty is already equal to the actual 'difficulty score'. I guess it is still hard to quantize or give an actual number value for difficulty, that's just my thoughts on the math though.
Well, sincerely it's for practicing obbies to feel imperfect in supervised learning of their environment. And it's intellectually important for challenging your skills for a hard-genre game (totally not JToH.) So, Tiered obbies are for learning skills.

the difficulty ratings are so confusing, ignore everything else and just look at the time taken (ex: t17s like elegance n stuff took SO much less than things like ToEV n ToTRP and yet they’re considered more difficult??) like with IT apparently being top 1, suddenly everyone beats it so easily that there’s no way it’s harder than CoIV. my hardest tiered one is blueberry too btw, only took smwhere at like 2 hrs which at the time where i beat it was like 5-7 times less than an insane tower.
@@ch87-z3w wdym, people have spent years grinding elegance also youre probably better at tiered obbies than towers; blueberry took a little longer than touh for me
@@yavidhi yeah that could be idk but still everyone i’ve seen takes so much less for t obbies even though they’re apparently harder i meant that as in playtime, people in description said that they like only spent 3 days or just a couple hours playtime, ALOT less than any past horri or unreal.
Using weber's law, a tier 11's actual difficulty would be 8.98846567431158e+307, and a tier 12's actual difficulty would be virtually infinite. Therefore weber's law in this case is not applicable because a tier's "actual" difficulty cant be infinite since that would be beyond impossible!
The main issue with these is the fact that after 4/25 tiers, the difficulty is literally soul crushing or can be pretty much impossible. The Practice Place uses a system to depend the tiers. But they use JTOH difficulties. Tier 5 is Challenging but it’s actually Insane. Which means the difficulty is clickbait. TBH, Tiered Obbies are never recommended for mobile, even starter ones can be unsuitable for mobile.
tierd obbies almost allways are like 1/20th of a tower witch is why the gameplay is so hard to balence it otherwise it would be too easy and also tierd obbies where way before towers (im im pretty sure) so now they are alot less fun

Tiered Obbies are so different in difficulty from JToH Towers. Tier 18 is the hardest Tier beaten as of this date and Tier 18 is lower half of Unreal I'd beaten likely a Tier 7 and that's like Remorseless or Insane, Tier 6 also Remorseless ngl.
@@ch87-z3w people who mainly play jtoh usually give up on tiered obbies easily (since they dont feel a need to beat them), so they overrate them sometimes
@@ch87-z3w think hes talking raw difficulty compared to the same obstacles in a jtoh tower eg. tier 6 jumps across an entire tower may be rem, but for the usual length of a tiered obby (~1-2 minutes) it would be closer to difficult/challenging
Yeah, truss divinity is hard if you are bad at truss gameplay, imo its like peak insane in jtoh difficulty. however there are some hard parts, I beat it and my hardest is ToGaH but im pretty good at truss gameplay...
What is JToH? JToH is possibly one of the hardest obby games on Roblox, after The *_TOWER_* of Hell. The tiered obbies is harder than JToH. It has Pit of Misery and The Eternal Abyss, like ToTRP, ToVH, ToSF, ToBF, CoIV and SoCB. The easiest tower is ToMDC and ToNF. So, that's it! Roro, please get the most liked comment in the world.

the gd challenge list version of jtoh
tiered obbies are towers but better shorter a bit harder, better to get more skilled at obbies

tiered obbies are pure skill so thats why there arent many rng tricks and also the main reason for no client objects
