    Just an fyi all the arms from diff xh and dc are diff sizes. Front arms and rear arms are diff sizes on the dc and the xh are all the same size but are diff from the dc front and back This video confused me on this and I ended up ordering the wrong arms twice thinking I could use the dc arms for the xh just not the two dc fronts cuz them are way diff

    Hello my friend, my DJI Air unit is giving calibration error, do you know how to solve this?

    • @WhirlyBloke
      @WhirlyBloke  5 місяців тому

      You could try this.
      1. Make sure you Air unit is connected to the FC
      2. Plug in your FPV battery
      3. Plug in your air unit
      4. Open DJI Assistant (Consumer)
      5. Once I got the Activation message I chose activate later.
      6. The Camera Calibration screen appeared and completed its process.

    Do you need to extend the 03 camera cable for this frame? Cheers and excellent quality review as usual.👍

      No, the frame body is shorter than the Master 5 and the longer MIPI cable isn't needed. But if you need a longer 150mm DJI 6 way cable, you can get one from my website bit.ly/3HkSgEe

    Thanks for another interesting, informative, and entertaining video Whirly Bloke. I really enjoy your channel. If I was in the market for a 5" quad, I'd definitely check this out. I too prefer the dead cat and I like the looks of the pro stuff. I'd go the extra $14 personally. I'm set to install the 03 Air Unit in the Bee35 build around the 1st of May. Then it will be finished! Can't wait. I've enjoyed all my SpeedyBee components and appreciate your reviews of them. Have you done anymore work on your Bee35? I remember you were exploring GPS functionality in an attempt to make an "Avata Killer" out of it. Happy flying amigo 🫡 🍻.

      Thanks for the feedback. The Bee35 has been slow progress cos the day job got mega busy, but I'll get there. The Pro version of the Mario 5 does look great and $14 is hardly a lot of cash 😃

      I certainly understand. My Bee35 has taken a very long time because of budget restrictions lol. I vowed not to compromise too much on components AND it's my first digital build so I had to buy goggles etc. I look forward to any future vids you may have planned with the Bee35. Be well mate. Happy flying amigo. 🫡 🍻.

    Thanks for the video. Did you do the PID setup yourself?

    • @WhirlyBloke
      @WhirlyBloke  5 місяців тому +1

      No problem - I hope it helped. Yep tuned by me and pids and rates are linked in the video description.

      @@WhirlyBloke Thank you so much. Your PID settings are very important to me. I just got the Mario 5 DC frame. I am currently assembling and the assembly is very similar to yours. I will definitely take your PID settings, it's a big time saver. Thank you very much!!!

      @@andreyspb1701 You will need to tweak it for different motors and props. To be safe, I suggest using BF defaults for 5 inch to start off with and then maybe try mine. BF defaults these days are very good.
