Sick. Now they just need to release the "Ezekiel" lol 🤣
Lmaoo 😂
Next ones gonna be called FU Tony...Follow-Up Tony lol
I finished my build a couple weeks ago, and I managed to get it down to 242 g, 6s, with the 03 Nakedized, 2004 1700kv, Foxeer AIO, HQ biblades, and I even added a bit of LED cob lights. I made it on boxing day in a t-shirt in Canada lol. I was so lucky to have that kind of weather at this time of year. It flies really freaking good.
oh cool! Thank you for sharing
I've been waiting to see one of these fly
@runpuppyfpv5744 I haven't posted any footage of it, because I only have one battery, that I had to go back home to charge so now I only have two flights on it. I'm up in Northern canada, and it is heavy duty winter, but wildly enough it was like + 9 Celsius on boxing day. 2 weeks later it was -57C.. lol. Probably won't be any flights on my UA-cam channel for at least a couple more months. Sorry..
But basically feels like flying a really large toothpick, without the pendulum feeling of an underslung battery. Pretty damn quiet with by blades, but it was a little Breezy that day. I basically couldn't hear it if it was more than 30 or 40 ft away, so pretty nice for stealthy Park flying. Definitely a fun project. I ended up replacing a bunch of the hardware with lighter hardware, because I don't plan to crash this thing. I've got proper 5-inch freestyle quads for bashing, this is more of a fun exploratory flowy flight type of craft, for me..
You can probably get a pretty good idea of what it looks like by checking out videos of the Ummagawd 2Fiddy. At the end of the day they're very close to being the same frame, minus some design differences.
@@willpowerfpv3246 I agree they are a lot alike I like this one a little more plus you can't beat that combo right now
@@willpowerfpv3246 I just ordered mine which stack did you use ?
Awesome build, Ian! 😃
Looking forward to the flight video!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Nice. Might have to add this to my vx3 and 5. 👌🏻
I have the FlyFishRC Volador V3X and it absolutely fabulous frame. Some of the cleanest TPU I’ve seen 💯👍🤟
I think they should have made a 3.5" version, that would be far better then their current 3.5" boat anchor!
Would love have seen a step by step walk through of the HDZero setup in BF, great video, thanks
Only watched because the title i hate build videos but great job
Hey ian, my theory is that whoever is writing the manuals is measuring the hardware different from the people putting together the kit. I had the exact same experience building their new 55 frame. About half of the screws add a 1 mm discrepancy between what I actually got in the bag and what was listed on the build manual. But basically none of these became an issue during the actual build. My guess is that they just try to keep them as short as they need for strength while maintaining the lightest possible weight
That makes a lot of sense. It just drives you a little crazy when your trying to follow the instructions lol
why not get a Ryanair flight to the Canaries to fly them i the winter?
I want a frame like this but without props in view
only 68g left for the battery to reach 250 limit, thats sad.
I built this drone and it doesn't fly the greatest but if you know anything about sub250 5 inch drones there super light (obviously) it's just alittle hard to tune but great looking frame 🫡
2004 motors just don't have the punch with those low pitched props... And they are so big it makes it float, i think 4inch props flies better on it
@DigitalCruzer I agree makes it wicked floaty not even fun to fly but!!! 4 inch props tho huh?🤔 may have to give that a try
Seems only fair to shout out the 2Fiddy, from which this frame seems to take an awful lot of design inspiration!
That’s a fair point.
@@MadRCOn a related note, after you were expressing doubts about the longevity of the current crop of frames, it's nice to see that 3 years on from the 2Fiddy launch, spares are very much still available!
I'm new to FPV and would like a recommendation on how to take my first drone to configure it, can anyone point me to a place?
Search on youtube joshua Bardwell fpv drone build. He does everything step by step. But its recommend that you practice with a transmitter and a flight sim first as you WILL CRASH. Sims save you a lot of money by letting you practice and developing muscle memory
shilling for working receivers. Comment for analytics
An ultra light 5" build isn't fun to freestyle. Very floaty feel.
It's more fun to cruise around for long range.
Also I found it very hard to tune.
This as a 4" would fly better.
Looks really fragile
its not really meant for crashing. 5in, digital and under 250g is not achievable in a different way
probably is
Tony 5 sounds like a 1970s band
The problem with all these sub 250g quads is by the time we’re all forced into using them to avoid Remote ID and other crap, the powers that be will have moved the exemption threshold to 100g.
@@testpilotian3188 Totally true and so sad/overregulated
