Thanks... it was actually a good choice because the carols in the medley had different time signatures.... so I wanted to see if the Alesis would sync perfectly across the different time signatures .... and it did 🙂

i have a question:
any way to synchronize Alesis SR18 with Korg SQ1 sequencer
SQ1 has only a MIDI out but no MIDI in
If SQ1 has only a MIDI out ..... then the SQ1 will have to be the MASTER (and will set the TEMPO and TIME SIGNATURE) ...... and the Alesis SR18 will have to function as the SLAVE RECEIVING UNIT ( meaning you will set it's CLOCK source to MIDI CLOCK ) ...... please view my reply to James Hardy @jameshardy5578 (for the details of coupling sequencers together) on this video ua-cam.com/video/Mt9CUS6Kz6c/v-deo.htmlsi=KBEQq_4vX0dF3vdu

Wow..thinking of getting one of these..especially now I know you have one. Can this machine trigger my EZ Drummer VST sounds? Is there a USB Midi or only 5 pin Din
Yes this drum machine can trigger sounds on any other drum machine (whether software or hardware) through MIDI ...... there is NO USB connection .... you have to connect through the 5-pin DIN socket
