U-235: enriched uranium, used as fuel in nuclear bombs and power plants.
U-238: depleted uranium, byproduct of enriching uranium. Used as projectiles and armour.
U-2: band, once snuck their music on everyone's phones
UB40: also a band, had some real nice hits back in the day.
U-238: also is used to make Plutonium
also was used as a standalone fuel for some nuclear reactors (RBMK from the Chernobyl plant for example)

My new headcanon is that protoss used to use imperial untill artanis came along and proposed switching to metric and everyone loved it and made him leader of their entire species.
5:26 This brought back some deep SC1 map editor memories. I also loved the floor and wall traps and just littering the installation tileset with them. Almost as much as overusing the overmind unit and trying to make it cool

I counted 3 mines slashed by DTs and one killed by dragoons.
This campaign really highlights how structurally identical the Terran and Protoss campaigns actually are
i mean the protoss using imperial makes sense to me, since they also don't believe in the right to repair
DTs consistently killed spider mines (3 times) if they were standing still. Regretfully for them Grant hates things standing still
If this means that DTs can just kinda counter spider mines with their psychic-alien-ninja reflexes, that's SUPER cool and is also probably lore accurate!

Dts clearing mines happens sometimes in pvt. Takes a bit of luck and skill. Always neat to see it
20:44 - U-235 shells would be awesome: if a unit gets hit with a certain amount of marine shots (let's say 12) it will explode like a small nuke.
One of the things I enjoyed about Starcraft 1 (especially during this mission) is how units don't automatically assume the player color.
Observy the observer? Surely it would be Observius.
19:00 about unit colours, you don't have a trigger to colour unit, you can't convert unit and make it keep the original colour BUT if you set them as rescuable (unit joins player side when close enough) they will keep the colour.
Grant, your story about how you used to build the station defenses all the time in the Starcraft map editor unlocked a core memory for me, thanks for that! :D

I agree: the pop up and pop out missile turret traps are really cool. A lot of sc1 and brood war was just so satisfying to play, and had so many interesting designs.

Love this. I feel like there weren't enough campaign missions where you fight as Protoss against Terrans, and vice versa. It seemed like Terrans were always fighting against other Terrans and sometimes Zerg, and Protoss was pretty much always against Zerg and sometimes other Protoss. In SC1 there's only one TvP mission, and one Protoss mission with Terrans in it, though you can totally just avoid the Terrans if you like. In BW there's only one TvP mission and only 2 PvT ones (and one of them is a no-build).
Generally, I'm a fan of story and gameplay integration but they could've had more excuses for the Protoss and Terrans to fight. It seems they only encountered each other off-screen in the backstory.
DTs cutting spider mines is actually a surprisingly common occurrence, particularly if they're attack moving. doesn't make it any less cool tho lol. what's really cool though is seeing zealots kill mines.

Grant forgets that with BW Batteries you can:
Use the unit to click the battery
Use the battery to click the unit
Use the battery to click the ground near the units and all units nearby will recharge.

5:06 omg the same thing happens to me in the original starcaft. for some reason my injured units i put behind my formation somehow always end up at the front it drives me insane!
on island mission enemy produced 128 units, you killed 118, they lost 120. SC1 unit math checks out.
It's probably due to spider mines, with 2 detonating (dying but not killed by Grant) and 8 still inactive on the map.

Is Zeratul and the DTs abling to slice the spider mines because of detection? Maybe the mines were trying to get to the dragoons but they ran into the DTs.
Since Zeratul is operating as Kerrigan for this campaign (at least this mission, and possibly the rest of the campaign) will he become the Queen/King of Blades?
While Grant saying something spider mine says target aquire killing dark templar then dark templar says nah I slash you then grant says excuse me mr DT you can't slash spider mine DT says well I just did it 🤣🤣🤣

I just realised... After replaying StarCraft 2... StarCraft 1 story doesn't make sense to me... Shouldn't judicator like... Understand both fenix and tassadar and see what they did / seen through khala and instantly understand that dark Templar are the only ones to be able to destroy cerebrate?
The lady in StarCraft 2 I always forget the name of *experiences past through khala* so why can't them experience what the other one does or at least feel if their intentions are true or not
