Plank is as good of an OU media member that we have. Program and national treasure our man Plank is.
Keys to OUs victory: Control time of possession, keep the quick drives to a minimum, if it becomes a shootout we lose badly.
Defense needs to drag Texas into the mud. We will be leaning on them to keep the score low for OU to have a chance.
Hawkins gets hurt we are done, if Texas gets in his head we are done. We can't afford a scoreless quarter.
I think Texas will want to put this game away early. Use that against them, they haven't played 4 quarters all year.
They haven't had to play four quarters but other than that you have a good honest assessment to the game.
All depends if our offensive line can give Hawkins time to operate.
And then we still have to have some guys step up and make plays. Just look at the number of receptions the WR’s who will be playing have in their careers. It’s scary the inexperience we will have playing at the WR position. We need a great game from Bauer Sharp and we can’t have our TE’s costing us TD’s over stuff you learned not to do in the 6th grade. We will have to rush for more yards, win the TO battle, hold Texas to 28pts and under and we have a chance to win the game. Odds say no way do we pull it off. History says there is a good chance we do.

This will absolutely NOT happen because all of the big 4 conference champions get an automatic bid and they will get a bye the first weekend from my understanding.
technically it is the top 5 highest rated conference champions get autobids. If the SEC conference champion was somehow rated lower than two G5 champs, the SEC could miss the playoffs. Wouldn't happen though
It would be really fitting if nobody from the sec competed ...I've heard it for years how the sec us this and thatcand now vandy handing a L to Bama..man anything is visible
