Great video. Very informative. As always!!!!
Do i need to come to a full stop to switch between H & L on my RZR XP1000 ?
Yes, if you don't come to a full stop you can damage the transmission.
@@rmatvmc Thanks
On relatively flat trails, should I start in low in shift to high or do I just start in high and stay in high
Most machines do not allow shifting while moving without damage
I don’t think u can come out of low going into high while moving
Thanx! New to this and a lil scared not knowing all you just said I. This video.
Compl agree. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Can I go from low to high while still in motion?
Negative. You want to come to a complete stop before shifting from high to low and vice versa
I thought so,thanks bro…how about the 4x4? Do I have to come to a complete stop to engage and disengage it?
Your owners manual should give you that information. Every machine is different and certain manufacturers will have different instructions.
I don’t have the owners manual anymore 😢
Internet
Good information
So how fast can you go on a 2022 polaris rzr xp4 1000 in low gear 4x4 in dunes
In low gear you can get speed around 20-25mph.
Use low whenever possible and never forget to shift down. Your belt life and clutch depends on it!
Can I go from *High* to *Neutral* while in motion without causing damage?
What about Kawasaki teryx 4 2020
This video will apply to that machine as well.
I can't wait for a crawlbox for my yxz. No belts.
These look like skidsteer belts..
Not a bad vid, but kept wondering how he didn’t notice the lens stuck to his face when he pulled off his goggles.
Rule #1. Turn the beebop OFF!Rule #2. Listen to your damn machine, it will tell you what it wants. If ya can’t understand these basics, maybe just stay in town, city boy!
Can't stand vintage "tech"nology Fred Flintstone rubber bands. 👎
Says the fool. CVT is the way to go unless you like grabbing the sword in the stone freddy.
Nothing wrong with cvt if you ride it properly and follow the low and high gear advice. I prefer that vs destroying a transmission
