You did a very good job pulling the stock knob with little damage on the stem. I ended up eating that loo completely in order to remove it. Good video.
I’ve never had this knob, but I had a BFI knob. It was okay, but just basic. Then I got the Raceseng Sphere 100 knob, with delrin material. A...M...A...zing! Love it. Doesn’t burn my hands in the hot AZ weather, perfect weight, and amazing hand contours.
How did you install the boot to the shift knob? I know with the BFI shifter you use a zip tie to secure the leather boot to the metal shift knob handle.
I have the diesel geek sigma 6 and it’s an amazing mod. Might be my favorite of everything I’ve done. Drastically changed shifting gears. I am a fan of the Oem knob but this one looks great too. Glad you got it to stop wiggling around.
@@JewelCity1 I do have it but haven’t installed it yet. It’s not easy getting it in there. After I drove it around I felt it wasn’t needed. That being said I’ll probably install it sooner or later.
Zip tie. While the boot is pulled above the knob, zip tie in the slot just above the screws. Make sure to not have excess below the zip tie as when the boot is pushed back down into place, if too tie, the boot will pull on the frame.
Awesome looking knob, good review. How easy is it to go back to stock after you have locked the small screws in place on? By the way do you have check engine light on ?
quick question. did this item come with everything you need to install it? I just purchased this and it seems like it didn't come with the threaded adapter part you unboxed.
Knob has held up fine. The leather hides wear much better than Alcantara. The added weight still glides the knob into the next gear like when I first installed it.
These edits are why your channel sticks out to me. Simple unboxing video made easy to watch unlike other channels. Keep it up!
I appreciate this🙏🏼
Gliding into the next gear. Thanks for watching!
Looks great! Enjoy it and thanks for supporting us! :)

Never mess with a GTI that’s lowered but not slammed. You know when this is the case, that the owner is about performance over looks...
You know what’s up haha
How much u recommend lowering it
just got one for my birthday and i absolutely love it. it feels so much better than stock
That’s awesome
I was looking@how to take the actual knob bit off as i wana swap out my mk6 knob part to a mk7 golf ball knob part. Thanks dude 👍🏼

I’ve heard of those. Seems like another good upgrade option

Do you have Diesel geek super pin as well?

How did you get the boot to stay connected to the knob?
Zip tie. While the boot is pulled above the knob, zip tie in the slot just above the screws. Make sure to not have excess below the zip tie as when the boot is pushed back down into place, if too tie, the boot will pull on the frame.
These edits 🦾 any more racing vids coming soon?
Im also curious
Currently Working on one
how is the knob holding up? Is it staying tight ? looking into one but don't want to have to tighten it every week
Use locktite. It’s holding after months

Cel is Catless dp. The knob would be reverse of install but that metal ring might take more effort to bend back in place
Does anyone know which model that is suitable for VW Transporter T6?

I purchased one too and didn’t get the silver part he had
@@stephensargent2540 did you have to buy that part? Or is this a newer model?
@@irhymeswithpie mine came with the knob and a flat piece (flat metal ring) and I made it work but I’m gunna call Urotuning just to double check
Following on this as well have the same exact issue
I’ve tried emailing them but they take up to a week to reply and when they do they don’t really give me much details to work w
hell ya, good video, i have mine coming in for my R today. oh and MANUAL GANG ALL DAY like a real man. hahaha
Send it!
@@JewelCity1 yezzir! hahaha also i now know why that metal trim was bent and i cut my hand on it back in 2019 too 😆 you got an instagram btw?
How is it holding up a year later? I'm looking for cheap mods to do before stage 1 and this seems rewarding. (2019 GTI SE 6-Speed)

Next mod is short shifter bro!
Oowee! Even shorter throws lol
Bruh what are you going to do with California's new modified ECU software ban on car registration?
It wasn’t going to pass anyway with catless dp
Vw gang 🤙
