Personally I started this music hobby like a year ago and I don't want to go and learn a plugging or software when I still don't know half what my live 2 can do! So steam separation seams like heaven to me be able to really change the sample is going to be crazy!!!
You could have not said there’s any better. I’ve been doing this for many years and I also don’t like having to learn third-party plug-ins when I feel comfortable with the MPC already. You’re not the only one.
Welcome to the MPC family!!!!!! There’s loads of Tutorials on UA-cam that you can watch and learn. I learned a lot from Malo beats here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
@@malobeats You know how I do! I love my MPC One and love the art of making music. With this new software, it’s going to make me love sampling even more!!!! #MPCGang #webangonpads
Had my moc one for about a year was bought for me by my kids .Used to have set up back in the early nineties, always been into music and vinyl records. Beginning to get to grips with the mpc one, never liked using a computer and mouse for music creation. Even back,in,the day with cubase and an atari. So I'm stick,to one piece of equipment and learn as much,as I can about it .Will only add a controller keyboard.
Yo, thank you so much for your input. There’s been other records that don’t cut the mix, but this one is more than usable. I really appreciate you taking the time brother.
Thankyou for this video,I'v hade an mpc one for about a year now. This stems feature for me is extremely important as I only have the mpc and don't want to add anything else in terms of equipment. Plus, it opens up my records for sampling in the way I have always wanted.
I have Serato Studio and I use it here and there in my workflow, but I agree with you about the 3rd party element, and that's I can't wait for this to drop on Standalone. Keep shining my brother, love the content!!🙏🏾✊🏾💚
This is the most amazing thing for sampling on the MPC and I can't wait to use it in action. So happy I got myself an MPC One and ever since I haven't used fl or anything else, due to the workflow being so much faster
@@JONAHHH03 same here, I just had their very first build, so I’m guessing they’re still working on it to improve it. Hopefully it’s gonna happen in the next few weeks.
@@malobeats yes hopefully so. I'm guessing the 15th to the 25th is my estimated times for when it could possibly come out. I heard it's $10 but that's gonna be one of the best plugins I'll ever buy.
Can't wait until this releases really. Going to be fun messing around with some samples in a clean separation mode. Changes a lot of things. Loving the price too. Nice presentation.
The joy when finding a great sample is in comparable. Thank you so much for sharing this with me and also for your feedback. Nothing beloved and blessings to you brother. 🙏🫡
I feel you bro! It’s like finding a fundamental vibration (the sample)… and then filling it out with the proper beat and bass and then giving it the glue and final polish… it’s like the joy of Life Itself! Like flying with Jesus and Budha above the clouds! Much love brother! Keep up the Joy!
Damn man! Every beat you make is awesome! I watch every video of yours and I like your spontaneity, getting excited about a beat, the pleasure of wanting to share 'making music'. Keep it up, never stop! Greetings from Italy 🙏🏻
As always great video where I learn a lot!! Completely agree with you with having everything in one place. I have RipX and line it BUT I think that processing there and then exporting to the MPC « kills » somehow my creativity lol Have a nice weekend!
Hey man, thank you so much for the loving support. It really means a lot. Absolutely, I don’t really want to have to learn a different software, just to stem out some tracks where I can do it in the MPC now with a few seconds. 🙏🙏
I love the ability to change the volume of a particular sound, such as lowering the vocals. Serato Sample is the only other stem seperation software I've used, and unless you record each stem onto a seperate track (which is time consuming), you can't do that. Love the videos
I love that you show your excitement when making music, that’s how I get when I’m in the zone. Beat came out awesome. I can’t wait to get this for my Mpc so I can experiment. How do u keep your mpc clean?
Another excellent video. Re using Spotify for stems - I know file compression makes separation harder, but does boosting Spotify to its highest quality make a difference?
Only examples with the classic composition of a song are shown here: drums, guitar, bass, vocals. What about modern songs? Tracks with synthesiser? Tracks with lots of different tracks?
Do mpc stem tutorial with phone sampling , a review would be awesome . I know you mention it isn’t as good I just feel like it could be good somehow deep down .
Malo… what type of usb cord are you using to connect In controller mode? I noticed it wasn’t the typical blue cable that comes with the MPC. I have a new computer and all connections are high speed. . MPC seems to react slow or become hesitant in controller mode…. Thanks brother
I haven’t tried the MPC one yet but I was using fl stem separation the other day, it was a busy sample and there were a lot of artifacts and bad quality sound in the stems
yeh. hopefully it continues to improve, maybe they could add an accuracy meter in % or something similar. I'm also trying to find what fx make the bad ones sound cleaned up a bit, sometimes sounding like a 64kbps mp3 from lime wire/kazaa days!@@malobeats
Some say that Steems means the end of creativity. Because limitations promote creativity. What do you all mean? Btw I've often found really cool samples that had drums on them and couldn't be used no matter what I did
Are you kidding? 😂 That’s like saying I don’t like guitars, if only guitars worked like violins or something. I’ve now got all three of those you mentioned, plus the Smpltrek and SP404; and they each are used for different things… for example the digitakt for EDM, the OP1 is only in my rucksack for travel, and the akai MPC is at the heart of the studio for sampling sequencing a bunch of hardware. Sorry don’t mean to joke with ya, in my humble opinion the mpc is well worth learning, it’s so damned powerful!! Give it another go! 👍

Do you feel a sonic difference between working from MPC standalone mode to MPC controller mode ?
I’ve never A/B it. Haven’t really stood out to me as much but now that you mention you got me thinking.

Can you link the stems purchase page?
Does it only work with samples recorded in from vinyl? Can I chop breaks and samples from my library?
@akai PAY THIS MAN
When you separate the music stem does it say what key its in by itself?
Great question, and yes, it will tell you what key the sample is in.
🔥🔥🔥💯
Para cuándo estara disponible esa actualización de stems
Hi, I would really like to know the title/artist of the second record you used in this video! Can you please share?
Never mind, the sample was just long enough to shazam it (after a couple of tries 😅)
Massive!
of course
What does adding tail length do?
It can extend the slice if it’s a bit short so you can fill in the gaps if that makes sense?
