With only a few exceptions ("Rubbersoul" "Pet Sounds", "Sittin' In"), Sadboys leaves the sixties where they belong. Much hope for the future in music. Some of my peers are stuck in the sixties. Sad, really. Their loss.
I'm really happy that your son show you this. My advice for you - try to listen GTB & SBE songs from 2012-2013 to 2016 ( include Yung Lean's "Warlord" album and Bladee's "Eversince" album). No doubt that's their golden era of music.

Roy was a replicant who wanted more time to be able to live like a real human, K was a replicant who believed he was human. Neither of their memories were their own, but what Roy did in his lifespan and what K did for Deckard were as human as anything else. That’s the whole point; replicants aren’t any different from humans. God, I love this song and those movies.
