Its to bad her popularity died out once v4 was released, she had potential to become a really good voicebank.
Yeah, like nowadays I think the only producer I see using Lapis is Dennoko.

not only does she deserve an updated voicebank but potentially a design tweak? theres her CoeAvatar design which is REALLY pretty however doesn’t fit her whole “light fairy” scheme. I will say though.. keep the ring on her head. make it big and obnoxious even. it’s iconic
Her name Aoki means blue princess, and her other name Lapis comes from the name of the gem Lapis lazulli, and FYI the gem on her headband is Paraiba Tourmaline, it's an extremely rare and precious gemstone.

I just looked up, and Aoki also means "Blue Tree".
The Blue Fairy, huh? Would make sense that the smallest Vocaloid would also be the cutest in voice and appearance~

Karl Meyer Teto and Neru are not Vocaloids. Teto is a UTAUloid, while Neru is a fan derivation of Miku.

Aoki Lapis used to be my favorite vocaloid a few years back. I loved her appearance but I've never heard her voice. Now I've finally heard her voice and its so cute! I'm starting to like her the same way I did back then. I can't believe I just called her my favorite vocaloid without even hearing her voice first. I wish I would've heard her voice sooner. I'm in love with this song!
Wow! Crazy story! Lapis is going to be one of my favorite female Vocaloids and this song is so good. Lapis's voice and design is really adorable! This is why i like her so much and think that she could be a popular Vocaloid like her sister Merli. Loved read your comment, sure.

Lapis is so underrated. I wish she could be more popular like the other underrated Vocaloids who needs more attention! Its kinda not far that Miku is so famous but the other Vocaloids don't the same. Lapis's voice is freaking adorable and her songs are so good too. I just wanna see some Lapis's song translations in english and portuguese more times because im brazilian and im a Lapis fan. Aoki Lapis and Hatsune Miku don't sound alike at all. Yes there may be a few things that are close but they are distinctly different from each other

Vocaloids are characters for voices in the programs. Miku is one of the (way) more famous voices, even so far that a lot of other vocaloids and utau take cues from her design, hoping to get similar attention. I don't know why BlackGold Thunder there would be so sad (s)he is angry
