I love this song. I was at a crisis shelter in 2002, and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder at the time from trying to please an emotionally abusive husband. This song came over the radio and nailed just how I was feeling at the time, and I just let go and danced around the kitchen. It was very freeing!!! Thank you Wide Mouth Mason for such an excellent song; it really got me through a very tough, trying time. You guys rock!!!
Have seen these guys 7 times in concert, always a blast, great live band, great grooving music. they hung out and just chatted with the fans and had a couple drinks after the show... all around good times.
Saw these guys for free at the Symphony of fire fireworks in Vancouver, 2007. Incredible concert. They certainly got everyone pumped for the fireworks display later that evening.
always liked this song..drove 2000 miles from ALBERIA..Calgary..listening to it to to SURROUNDINGS..THEREABOUTS..not much sleep..and coulnt find other discs driving almost non stop...so..smile seemed to be the best answer
then there are other places like...wounded knee .head smashed in buffaloe jump other places that could be useful in discarding crrupt politicians..swift current nick name speedy creek..ahh just invent a name like they do corrupt laws
i can honestly say that it takes a ton of dedication after watching thse boys live tonight in sudbury Ontario.... just pure amazing jamming...even after seeing them play superstition
on behalf of my shy girlfriend i want to thank you guys for playing ottawa bluesfest 2017. i think she's already at the gate with her ticket and your show doesn't even happen for about a month. i saw you guy's at Barrymores in ottawa way back inthe day and it was great.
Dude I don't remember the year to the T but was like 2002, but you guys were playing in a soccer feild in a small mountain town in Alberta/B.C. border and I told the chopper pilot to fly over, we were working in the mountains doing seismic, and our hotel was the fly in fly out spot
What a fn party that night behind the hotel in the trails, big East coast style bombfire everyone being awesome and celebrating life, I think there was a mountain bike event/race going on also or motocross, was fn long ago
@MrHillbillydeluxe Nothing happened to them. New album that rocks! Saw them live in Edmonton just a couple of days ago and got to meet them. They are amazing!
this song is hardly representative of their sound. I saw them live twice and they are sooooo talented it is embarrassing. they are very bluesy and he is an amazing guitarist which doesn't come through in songs like this. they did a medley of Hendrix/Vaughn/BB King that would blow your mind. listen to their first album ~ songs like This Mourning
absolutely. saw them live quite a while back as back up ............... I remember thinking WTF.... whats this? who's this insane guitar player? damn this is good!...... I actually think they got in shit after that performance becasue I cant even remember who the headline was...... laugher....
Why aren't there many more van sessions??? Like NPR kinda??? Argenta/westfailya/Kootenay lake.... I think I will find a producer if you and Nathan will rent out the van🎉😂❤
I cannot find this song digitally. Only on UA-cam. Spotify does not have it. Apple Music does not have it. Anyone know where I can download load this song?
@RonnyOnBass clearly you haven't heard them live today. and their new bass player gordie johnson is unreal. maybe you should look up Big Sugar that was gordie johnsons band a big Canadian band!
@RedPaladin Very good list my friend, 'I Mother Earth' would fit nicely on that list too. Also, assuming you're a metal fan lol, I recommend checking out SAKNA, an Ontarian band that went virtually unknown throughout the 90's but that's incredible to say the least.
Cause they don't give a fuck about the fans! I met them in 2000 outside a club in my city and they are just goofs. I never liked them after that day, two fucking high and mighty to talk to the fans aha it's cool ahaha funny how things work out aha enjoy your job at Tim's or Wally World guys aha
@James thats a pretty rare bird... the only other professional musician I have seen use a Blueshawk was BB King doing a promotional thing for his "Little Lucille" version a Blueshawk.... Unless you live in America these are hardnto find on the used market...
+andrew gillis much tighter than MAROON 5!! [not to troll on ADAM LEVINE he's got talent!!] but this is stellar!! I've worked in the music industry before it's hard to grin and bear sometimes but this video makes me smile!!!
Ah, but here's a real hero talking to anyone who will listen about how he "almost" beat someone up, surely this is the highest authority on decent guys...

Such a great band they came here to Sarnia quit a few years ago at the imperial I jumped onstage and had a great time e
saw them live awesome
Seeing them live was an unexpectedly delightful surprise! Very talented, much more so than they seem on their recordings...
So excited to see this band live tomorrow night for the first time since like 2001!
i can honestly say that it takes a ton of dedication after watching thse boys live tonight in sudbury Ontario.... just pure amazing jamming...even after seeing them play superstition
Can't believe they're not more popular on here
Great music thank you
The best falling-down drunk song ever
on behalf of my shy girlfriend i want to thank you guys for playing ottawa bluesfest 2017. i think she's already at the gate with her ticket and your show doesn't even happen for about a month. i saw you guy's at Barrymores in ottawa way back inthe day and it was great.
This is badass.
lol, drank with these guys in 2003 at Catwalk in Red Deer....good times
This was the first song I heard by them, in the summer of 2000 on Rock 94 from Thunder Bay. I thought the singer was a woman, lol.
Dude I don't remember the year to the T but was like 2002, but you guys were playing in a soccer feild in a small mountain town in Alberta/B.C. border and I told the chopper pilot to fly over, we were working in the mountains doing seismic, and our hotel was the fly in fly out spot
love this song
2022! Why isn’t this song on Spotify!
it is in 2024
All the best Canadian bands come out of Saskatchewan! WHOO!
Forgot how great of a band these guys are
their sound is pretty different now though
What a fn party that night behind the hotel in the trails, big East coast style bombfire everyone being awesome and celebrating life, I think there was a mountain bike event/race going on also or motocross, was fn long ago
Still listening in 2024!

I haven't heard this in years....just found it by accident after listening to Midnight Rain.
Great Song !
Oh yessssssss it's my night song
They opened for ZZ Top in Grande Prairie. WHAT A FUCKING AWESOME CONCERT!!
@MrHillbillydeluxe Nothing happened to them. New album that rocks! Saw them live in Edmonton just a couple of days ago and got to meet them. They are amazing!
Ya me too!!!!
i think they r my grandmas sons cuz i saw the band in her house, its weird coming back to it
met this lead singer two day ago

Best concert I've ever been to.
Yeah. Far too much talent for what comes through. :(
Life - and the music industry - isn't fair.
The b-boy is Travis Verta (Roger Cross) on Continuum!
TBay Bluesfest 2017!
I was hanging out with Earl the other night and I didn't even know it. lol
Its on Spotify, though just this song, not the album
@@GaryGeezer-l2s its about time. Thanks for the update.
the first and only time i have heard saskatchewan as a song lyric was on this album LOL
Fuck I love this song!

the lead guy is amazing!
Hey you guys were great! way better than the country night opener
Good Canadiana...
@RonnyOnBass clearly you haven't heard them live today. and their new bass player gordie johnson is unreal. maybe you should look up Big Sugar that was gordie johnsons band a big Canadian band!
@sporky800 Yeah, I went to see ZZ Top tonight and they opened for them.
The Drummer is my Cousin xDDDD

This is so damn hard what genre is this??
+MITCH4651654 Blues rock.
Is this from the 90s ???
@PurpleSpiderMonkeys Damn rights! :-D
That's my cousin 😊
DarknessInfused which one?
Why do they all look like Pauly shore at first or passing glance?
@RonnyOnBass Gordie Johnson is the bass player lol
Very Beatlesque! (That is a good thing).
How this band was never huge is beyond me! If they were an American band they would have been more recognized
You are very wrong in your assessment.
Because they are horrendously boring and painfully Canadian.
Russell Clark I loved so much music from Canada and I live in the US
Cause they don't give a fuck about the fans! I met them in 2000 outside a club in my city and they are just goofs. I never liked them after that day, two fucking high and mighty to talk to the fans aha it's cool ahaha funny how things work out aha enjoy your job at Tim's or Wally World guys aha
Whoa he's using a Gibson Blueshawk...
@James thats a pretty rare bird... the only other professional musician I have seen use a Blueshawk was BB King doing a promotional thing for his "Little Lucille" version a Blueshawk.... Unless you live in America these are hardnto find on the used market...
@James you asked me, you twat...
Not a bad little band
way hipper than Maroon 5, and serves the same market - plus this video has the glam presentation that looks identical to 2 Maroon clips, what up
+andrew gillis much tighter than MAROON 5!! [not to troll on ADAM LEVINE he's got talent!!] but this is stellar!! I've worked in the music industry before it's hard to grin and bear sometimes but this video makes me smile!!!
I never knew Edward Norton fronted this band.
Saw them on Wednesday with ZZ Top for the second time, I must say the second bass player is way cooler than the first one!
No offence to Gordie but Earl was a perfect fit. WMM was awesome with the original trio.
I agree!! I love gordie and big sugar but he just doesn't fit with wmm
Sui
@wilkes85 haha are you kidding? alberta and ontario have way better bands. although I do like WMM
Is that Sophie Monk being objectified by the director?
alberta has nickelback, they cancel out all the good ones.
Bass player is the only decent guy. I almost beat the shit out of the singer and the drummer.
Yeah, there fucking goofs. Big time dick heads, no wonder there music never went to far aha karma.
Ah, but here's a real hero talking to anyone who will listen about how he "almost" beat someone up, surely this is the highest authority on decent guys...
I agree, fucking bunch of goofs.
@rosaedmonds lol alexisonfire sucks, billy talents the best canadian band for punk/hardcore
well, that comment didn't age well.
Dude sounds like a lady
@James nah I dont see it
