I agree that Taekwando isn't really that aggressive, it is more about technique, I think I went to Taekwondo for like 3 months and because of that, every time someone has attacked me, I haven't thrown a single punch and they haven't been able to connect a single punch, it's great for self defense.

I used to do TaeKwonDo back in the day. Word of advice, remember remember remember to pivot your planted foot. I was doing a round kick one night in class, didn't pivot my planted foot, pulled a muscle from my ankle up to my ass. It dropped me to the floor instantly. But man is it an awesome and fun sport. Definitely give it a whirl, Jay. It's a great and very affective form of cardio.
