You left out pretty vital information. Pirate can cancel the recovery of all moves with a dodge/dodge attack. This makes her fairly safe, but specially missed pistol blast grab (after whiff/block heavy). You should always go for pistol blast on landed dodge attacks and heavies, except if you're ganking (feeds 30 revenge), if you're getting ganked or you're very low on stamina. Now the most unknown and strongest pirate tech: heavy WTP mixup. You see, you can soft feint WTP into a GB. Pistol blast has low hitstun, heavy attacks has medium hitstun. So if you hit a heavy and DO NOT pistol blast (straight into WTP) then soft feint into GB, you WILL catch regular dodge attacks. I can't think of any other hero which can do this. Good players will still interrupt it with a light attack so watch out.

@@Yurifrostfr I got her, she's not my favorite, but i do like her a lot. i really love ocelotyl and i like shinobi a lot... and medjay. I feel like i like afeera, but i cant seem to win with her. i probably just need more practice.
@UBUB101 lol I've actually gotten pretty good with pirate. I think the trick for me was playing like 50 pirate games without using her hold back guard heavy attack stab thing that everyone spams. I was determined to be good with her without that move and then add the move in later as gravy. Been trying to get better with black prior but I'm not nearly as good. XD.
I like her outfits and her cannon feat. I hate playing other pirates bc usually they spam lights, or the grab which just becomes super annoying. She’s def not as OP as afera or the guardian hero

@titheseng7117 walk the plank, if you hit an attack, pull back on the left stick and throw a heavy, you'll throw an unblockable heavy.
All his "guides" are like that. He tells people what they could have just read or figured out themselves and doesn't even know half of the rest.

I use pirate as a main, it’s medium so it’s not to hard but not easy
