Great video and info on that! Just some things u can do to save u some headaches down the road, or to keep Murphy from an unplanned visit! Cans now are 4yrs old, and no leaking of vapors, or liquid while in truck bed! Also just a suggestion with those tire valves, if u get the longer ones, the next time u empty an aerosol can, make sure all air outta can, drill a hole according to stem diameter, put stem in hole tightly, and braise/solder around stem, and now u have a refillable can of air! U can also put air inside of a can thats still got liquid in it but no air so u don't waste half a can of product! Just look around bottom of can for: 2Q, which means it's tested up to 270psi, which most compressors aren't above 150 at most! I always buy compressed air and refill with air hose just so I know clean inside!
Thanks Rick, really cool. I think I’ll fix mine like that. My military cans have no vent at all but it kinda convenient sometimes when four wheeling and have extra cans with you. No spills.

Aircraft Refueler here, these caps pop open due to excessive pressure caused by fuel vapers. Once vented out, they should close easily. They also eliminate air bubbles allowing smoother and faster flow. Its the same thing for Fuel trucks, We have to open a vent valve to dump excessive pressure from fuel vapers and allow faster & smoother flow of fuel into aircraft. What your using is much more efficient. I think the New NATO gas cans have a similar Vent valve you created.
